Do not use that capture device. It's only standard def and will look utter shit or won't run.

For capture devices there's a few options out there some more expensive than others. RT use Black Magic's Intensity Pro which is an actual capture CARD that fits into your PC, it's rather pricey and records uncompressed footage so it's better for advanced users.

I suggest looking at the Hauppauge range of capture devices such as the HD PVR, HD PVR 2 etc. I have the first HD PVR model which is component only but it's worked for me fine for years though to future proof I suggest getting the PVR 2 since it supports HDMI.

Editing software; either Premiere Pro or Sony Vegas on PC and Final Cut Pro 7 on a Mac but seeing as you're on a PC the former applies to you.
Very expensive but there are "ways" to acquire them for "free" if you get my drift...not that I condone such actions ;)

Mic-wise; I use a Samson C01U USB condenser mic but I've heard many good things about the snowball mic. I suggest, though not very necessary to get a pop filter also to stop all the popping sounds or the audio clipping if you accidentally blow into the mic.

Watch a TON of YouTube videos about editing; it's can be a hell of a lot harder than it looks but once you learn your away around the software of your choice; you'll get faster and better each time, the more effort you put in; the better quality your work will be.

This should be said; all the hardware and software in the world can't change a bad commentator; be confident when performing voice over; get used to your own voice, you'll be hearing it a lot and make sure you always have a topic at hand to talk about dead air is the worst and keep all the "erm"s to a minimum!

Hope this helps.

This seems like a robot hosted on the spot. And I have to honestly ask why a robot? I get the theme is to educate a robot to "escape" but it just seems so forced.

If this gets past a pilot I hope to go they change the voice of the robot. There is no reason RT should be using what sounds like the robot setting from this toy.

Someone else said it, but they're top quality hat from a top quality manufacturer. They're fitted as well, so there's no hook and loop fabric, buckle, or snap on the back. Are they worth $34.95? Not in my opinion, no.

However, that is market price for these hats. On Amazon, where everything is cheaper, they run $25-$40, usually around $30. At a real store, or at most online stores, they're $35. https://www.amazon.com/Detroit-Tigers-Fitted-Baseball-Medium/dp/B002BWUUFU/ref=sr_1_5?s=fan-shop&ie=UTF8&qid=1500744747&sr=1-5&keywords=detroit%2Btigers%2Bhat&th=1&psc=1

Does anyone have an ID on that goop? It looks like a really good idea.

EDIT: Found it for those interested.

For anyone curious about the skull glasses they were using, Amazon Link.

You're probably right about the headphones

For Mics they either use the Audio-Technica AT2020, or different model from the same brand(the AT 2035 maybe).

For Webcams they use the Logitech c920.

Their chairs are DX Racers

For capture cards I think they use El Gatos

They used to use Alesis MultiMix 16 mixer, but they may have updated to something newer.

They're keyboards, monitors, and I think mice consist of whatever they happened to have on hand at the time. I think I've seen HP, ASUS, Dell, and Apple stuff mostly.

I'm betting they looked at other games at that price point and saw what was included. To me this game looks kind of like a co-op version of King of Tokyo, which has an MSRP of 40$ and also uses the cardboard figurines. It also has a chance to change as more people fund it improved figurines might eventually be a stretch goal.

Based off of the five minutes of research I put into googling it, they were actually playing it the way it's supposed to be played. It seems like there wasn't much effort into actually developing or selling it though, seeing as how one of the top selling points on this amazon page is "Build a pirate ship."

My guess is that one of who I would guess would just be two unpaid interns who were told to design this game said, "Crap, we're supposed to make it two player, but if the first player knocks down the tower on his first turn then there's no way for the second player to win."

At this point the less bright intern turned to the other and said, "you're an idiot, they'll just go at the same time. Dumbass." Intern number one considered saying something, but decided that since he wasn't being paid, and because all the credit for the design was going to go to his boss anyway, he would just let it pass.

It wasn't me. If you didn't know that about the Irish, I don't know what to tell you.

Here's a book I can recommend you if you're interested in the subject: Working Toward Whiteness: How America's Immigrants Became White: The Strange Journey from Ellis Island to the Suburbs

Also available for pre-order on Google Play and Amazon, thankfully it's not delayed on Google Play like it has been in the past.

I personally don't get the point in pre-orders for a digital soundtrack but hey they're there if you want to pay upfront I guess.

It's already available on Amazon, if you'd like to pick it up from there.

Has AH gotten a gel trap for airsoft yet? I'm thinking of sending one since last week Jack got hit with ricochets.

Also, does anyone know what's Andy's favorite color? I'm learning how to make lightsabers (the high-end hobby kind you'll find on /r/lightsabers) and considering sending one as well.

If I recall correctly, it was actually released in the Amazon App Store rather than the Google Play Store.

Edit:

Found it.

How an Economy Grows and Why It Crashes.

I read it in grad school and it was OK. It's very macro-focused. If you like that, that's fine. I find macroeconomics to be sort of boring and useless in many situations. It's good to know basics about how the economy functions, but you really don't need to know that much unless you're in the business of policy making or research.
