These types of things are generally considered hobbyist level and in all honestly, you are best doing this yourself with a good Weller Soldering Iron, a 56 SMD Desk Magnafier and some helping hands.

If that is out of the question though, I'd recommend checking out Fab Lab. It is a non-profit community space that has all the equipment available to anyone who dabbles in everything from Raspberry Pi to all things electronics. You may be able to consign someone or do it yourself there.Their address is 847 14th Street, San Diego 92101

Hope this helps and good luck!

I've made my own before.

I bought carne asada from a local mexican place, and seasoned it. I'd recommend yellow onion, jalapenos, and chili powder in orange/lemon/lime juice. Cooked that up nice and slow. For fries we bought McDonalds french fries because frying properly is a pain, but it worked out well. Use fresh pico bought from a grocery store, cotija cheese, cheddar cheese, sour cream, cilantro, diced jalapenos, and avocado. Find properly big burrito tortillas.

I'm for not using cheddar and only cotija, but california burritos typically have melted cheddar on the fries. Also if you can find pico de gallo seasoning, sprinkle it on the avocados when they go in.

These were pretty amazing. Just cook the meat nice and slow. Look up a better carne asada recipe, mine was from my head and probably wrong.

I don’t know your severity but I could recommend some workbooks to help, here’s one that has pretty good reviews online.

I always like to tell people that a therapist could be anyone/anything, not to downplay all of their hard work and dedication but in the very simplest form all they really did was study books that are available to you as well - you have the same capabilities to help yourself but it will take some time and work

Retrain Your Brain: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in 7 Weeks: A Workbook for Managing Depression and Anxiety

Is it safe to assume that your brother is in the military deployed in Okinawa? If so, american candy is readily available on the stores in the base so if you'd like to save room you could possibly leave a little out.

I would recommend sending some ethnic snacks and trinkets which he probably won't see much of in Japan such as Pulparindo or Chili covered lollipops . If he favors more of a standard fair, you could possibly get him some Salt Water Taffy.

If your brother is a beer person you could also maybe get him some souvenir glasses / coasters / or growlers from a local brewery.

Respectfully,

Juunbugs

I was going to recomend the Terro traps, as we had success with those a few years back (haven't had any fruit flies since) but it looks like recent reviews say the new versions don't work. Also, op should make sure they don't have drain flies, which look remarkably like fat fruit flies but don't seem to be attracted to the same types of traps.

Typical waxes don't do much in the way of actual protection from the elements - they're more for shine.

Paint sealants actually protect your clear coat and paint, which you really only need to apply once a year. Example: [https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0002LBKFQ]

Correction: typical wax does protect but only lasts for a few weeks at best, so you need to reapply it basically every time you wash your car. Synthetic paint sealant provides the same or better protection, but lasts up to a year without needing to be reapplied.

I bought mine off of amazon and was able to get all the basic channels. I slapped my antennae on my window that faces the most west possible in my apartment. I was stoked when I got it to work.

Way back in 2013 i bought this one and it still works fine.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008RL2L10/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

have you considered getting a signal booster? might help too. honestly, i think it has a lot to do with the position of the antennae and if there's anything that might be blocking the signal. Some days ABC works crappily. Some days the signal is better. good luck!

Amazon has great water bottles listed. Some even come with nice warm covers. I bought this for myself and extra for family and we all love it.

This obvs doesn't help now, but you should look into something like this.

I use stuff like this when I go out on my paddleboard. Works great. Can't find the exact one I use though.

u/SwillFish · 1 pointr/sandiego

This is similar to the one I have but if you want to spend $10 more you can get one that's a little more sophisticated and easier to use. I think it's worth the extra expense.

u/VoloErgoSum · 1 pointr/sandiego

I love this one. Just like the reviews say, it feels like big fat raindrops. Its the only shower I've had where I don't simultaneously feel cold. It installs really easily as well, you just screw it on.

This is the updated version, and I don't recommend it.

I'm in a 1500 sq ft house with 4 people and we used to average about $350-$400 a month (we got solar at the beginning of the year and now it's around $20). In addition to the regular house appliances, there are 8 or so computers, 6 monitors, two 52" LCD TVs, one 65" rear projection TV, one video projector, 2 mini fridges, a keezer, and a partridge in a pear tree. Also, we have 3 dogs, so the AC thermostat is set to 78 all summer, so you should be able to get yours to about $150-$200 a month.

My advise is to get a kill-a-watt to find out what is racking up your kWhrs and check your bill to find out how many kWhrs you are using above your baseline allowance. Anything over 30% of your baseline is essentially twice as much per kWhr, so getting as close to that as possible really helps. I found that turning off the surge protectors to the AV equipment (or other vampire electronics) and turning down (up?) the thermostats in the mini-fridges/keezer helped the most.

u/NeptuNeo · 1 pointr/sandiego

You can buy an Electricity Usage Monitor from Amazon to find out exacdtly how much your appliances/fridge are using
