Cheap and BEST solution to your problem. Just got to cut it to fit the impact since it's for orginal controller. The scuf military grip sucks don't get it!

I honestly don’t know what to recommend. I sent my Scuf Vantage in for repair earlier this month, it was suffering from severe dead zones in both sticks that made playing any shooters impossible since you just can’t fine tune your aim when there’s dead zones. My Vantage also suffered from an odd issue where the analog sticks would make clicking sounds without even pushing them down to activate sprint, you could also physically feel like they were hitting something internally, the issue still persisted even after removing the analog sticks and swapping them out for different ones.

I purchased a Nacon Revolution Pro 2 controller while I wait for my Vantage to return from repair, but I also can’t recommend it since The triggers are shaped oddly, so when you guys push them to shoot it kinda sinks your fingers in at an angle and it just doesn’t feel right. The Nacon does offer a lot of customization via the pc software that lets you tweak dead zones and how the controller behaves, but even with tweaking it still feels weird while playing games, also the Nacon isn’t wireless.

Right now I would recommend people to wait if they’re in the market for a pro controller, Astro announced their C40 TR controller which looks great, you can move the modules around, so if you like the stick DS4 stick layout you can have that, but if you like the Xbox one stick layout you can move the analog sticks around and have it set up like an Xbox one controller. The Astro C40 is also the same price as the Scuf Vantage at 200 bucks, only downside is that it releases in March of next year, but if I personally didn’t already purchase a Vantage I would have just waited for the Astro controller, but they didn’t announce it back when I was looking for a new controller. I had to do the same thing with my impact controller on my L2 trigger. Used a set similar to this (link below) to get it open. Being in Germany, I don’t know the ability or speed for ordering from Amazon US for you guys. I’d imagine if you had a computer hardware speciality store they would carry security bits as well like you’re looking for. My impact doesn’t have triangle screws, it has star screws so you may need to adjust a set you’re looking for.

These are the one's I bought, they arn't exact replicas and the plastic feels a little cheaper than what is used on PS4 controllers, and I would probably buy a different set and hope they are a bit better quality

Consider a Strikepack instead. You add it to your standard PS4 remote to give you paddles. It's only $40. Amazon sells out quickly so I got mine at a local GameStop. Paddles are easy to program and can be mapped to any other button on the controller. I use it for the options button to check the map quickly in MWR. It has a lot of other fancy features I haven't used. One downside, it requires a wired connection.

I owned a scuff for a year before it broke. Loved the product but refuse to re-buy anything for $200+ that breaks easily. I've been using strike pack for a few months now and actually prefer it to a scuff. I get to keep using my standard PS4 remote and can feel the better quality over the scuff.
