not sure how relevant it is to you, but the "Safe Place" skill for Alexa will store that exact information.

Humm... you know a 256gb SD card isn't that much and a lot of files are duplicates. I wonder if I can distill the fileset down to the useful amounts only.

I'd still like to find a good answer to this as stated, but this really has given me an idea.

you can short the vga adapter if you have one. or buy a dummy hdmi dongle on amazon for like $8.50 https://www.amazon.com/CompuLab-fit-Headless-Display-Emulator/dp/B00FLZXGJ6

I would suggest installing a software firewall on a small server/micro appliance [this is what I use!] (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01JHJGG5M/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1).
There you can configure your LAN, VPN, and many other services to keep your network safe. Your LAN would host your applications, accessible from outside over VPN.

I have been very pleased with the Ubiquiti EdgeRouter X coupled with their AP-AC-LR access point.

I had ordered This off Amazon (before it came with heatsinks) and had heatsinks from canakit. I got 56C max on a 10 minute sysbench test on my pi 4. I certainly cant hear it either

u/notop20 - I am new at Rock64, always been using Pi3. Based on what you mentioned above, I am thinking about replicating your setup for Nextcloud on Rock 64, can you please confirm below order, as is that all I would need for a hardware?

I have a gigabyte mini PC. It's about nuc factor, but a litttle bit lower spec, and a lot cheaper. Much more capable than most sbc hobby computers (unless you're looking to attach sensors).

Below is the one I have, and they have some newer models it there. You can boot off of USB or install an SSD drive.

Probably not what you expect but you don't need a web app/network service to watch price changes on a web page. A simple script that parses the page at regular intervals and extracts the price would do the trick.

Eg. on https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Gear-VR-Virtual-Warranty/dp/B01HU3J9QA the price is cointained in the div with id priceblock_ourprice. A quick and dirty shell script using curl | grep would be able to extract it. There are "cleaner" solutions like python/beautifulsoup.

Something similar: http://www.danielforsyth.me/finding-the-best-ticket-price-simple-web-scraping-with-python/ https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=7903682

Edit: a lot of similar projects https://github.com/search?q=amazon+price

Perforce had "obliterate" as an operation, but Subversion does not.

I've not intention of worrying about history - biiiiiig hard drives are cheap - https://www.amazon.com/Western-Digital-Elements-Portable-External/dp/B0713WPGLL

Oh and I use one of these to combine my digital TV antenna signal and the one the modulator puts out.
