These things are AWESOME! The spicy ones are a little to hot for me. I've got a box of the regular ones on my auto order list from Amazon. I go through a 2 boxes a year.

Just ordered the Ultimate Insanity! I'm nervous and excited to try it out. Wish me luck!

Same here. I've got three of those Swivel Stores in my pantry: one for baking and sweets, one for peppers and herbs, and one for salts and miscellaneous. That's not the exact system, but you hopefully get the idea. And then I've got a drawer for the spices I use most often; that's kind of a mish-mash of different things, but I'm familiar enough with the different jars/bottles that I don't have to worry about getting them mixed up.

Boom

It's actually pretty good for peanut butter cravings without dropping 200 calories on 2 tablespoons.

Tapatio is good too ... kinda similar to Cholula. My personal favorite is Matouk's though.

No. I got mine on Amazon and that's not it.

Currently unavailable! Damn! I need more pretty soon.

Do people not have those microwave plate covers? Keeps your microwave clean, and I think it also cooks your food better.

I am pretty sure the Koolaid with sugar added comes in those bigger plastic containers and not in the little paper envelopes. like this one

If you ever want to lose weight, consider intermittent fasting. It's great for people who like big meals.

Best money I ever spent in the kitchen was this little jewel. I rarely even use my microwave anymore:

The rice soaking is generally called for in a lot of sushi rice recipes, they claim it kind of jump starts the water absorption, but i don't really have any science to back that up.

Sushi rice is really sticky, a few grains of rice helps the seaweed edges stick to each other.

Musubi press!

u/RichardHuman · 16 pointsr/shittyfoodporn

You can just buy them.

What a time to be alive!

You're not supposed to roll spam musubi either. You get one of these things and press the rice into a spam-slice-shaped block. Unlike sushi rolling, it's pretty foolproof.

I had a similar thought too. I put a gob of peanut butter in a shaker cup and it didn't really work. What does work, however, is powdered peanut butter!
