Great!

Thanks for the pictures, yeah i understand what you mean.
I have read between SP and AF differences, although the ML 140 PRO are the best of both worlds (20£ per fan is too much)

Which RBG strip did you buy? - My case has a RGB connection for leds at the back which i can hook them up into, i am running a Asus Graphics Card and Motherboard and think ASUS AURA may be able to sync them together.

I may save the 54£ on SP140MM! LED fans from Corsair and keep what i currently have just add on to it some RGB LED strips.

its a tough choice after just spending £2400 on my set up, and also having a new baby.

My wife would notice the white fans and i would get pummelled xD

Well if you wanted to use most of your budget for a powerful, efficient PSU which is well future-proofed, I'd go with the EVGA SuperNOVA 1200 P2. $285 on Amazon right now but EVGA's site lists it at $275. 1200W gives plenty of power for potential SLI in the future.

But if you weren't interested in SLI and would rather not spend more than you need to, I'd go for the EVGA SuperNOVA 650 P2. 650W is perfect for what you have with a bit of headroom to spare for some overclocking if you like, and saves you a lot of money over the former PSU.

Both are full-modular, 80+ Platinum certified, and backed by a 10-year warranty.

Brown is known as the middle ground, but you seem like you do more typing than the average person. So I recommend the Cherry MX blues. They're a bit more uncommon though, so I recommend getting a keyboard straight from cherry like the G80-3000

Sorry! Was at the beach all day.

Without glass desk, black.

With glass, corner desk.

Second one might be too big, first might me too small.

I'm more of a person who's better at computer hardware and such, not desks. :P Ikea sure is great, though.

Alright, there is a few options that i would recommend

---

If you don't want a numpad this is a great option

Cooler master masterkeys S (PBT (Thicker keycaps))

If you want a numpad this is the version with one

Cooler master masterkeys pro L

If you want a non pbt version of the S

Cooler master masterkeys S

If you want a pbt version of the pro L

Cooler master masterkeys pro L (PBT(Thicker keycaps))

---

These are all cherry mx brown switches, I'm not sure what the difference is between the pro and non pro versions you might have to look that up, they have white leds and come in at your budget, enjoy

Here's a good one for pretty cheap. It also has 1ms response time, which is good.

I also recommend the ASUS VG248QE as far as overall quality.

If you don't mind not having an adjustable stand, i.e. tilt, height, pivot, and swivel adjustment, the Acer GN246HL is the less expensive version of the ASUS.

Both of those are TN panels. This last option is Samsung CFG70 which is a VA panel, which isn't quite IPS color quality, but its very close. Plus, this one can utilize AMD FreeSync which syncs up the FPS from your graphics card and the refresh rate of the monitor so games appear smoother. Now you would need a capable AMD card for this to work. Here is a list of the cards

As for your RAM, I suggest the GSkill Ripjaws, which is on the motherboard QVL and matches you color scheme: RAM QVL

As for your keyboard, I suggest the Cooler Master Masterkeys Pro S. It is available in the size you want (called TKL) and has RGB. It has a standard bottom row, which makes swapping keycaps easy, and high quality keycaps out of the box. It can be found Here Alternatively, this iKBC would offer the same specs and make Dvorak/Colemak/Workman easier.

Edit: Changed Z to Y after my keeb switched to ISO-AL

Fair enough, in that case just get two of this:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Speclux-Desktop-Computer-Magnetic-Flexible/dp/B06XRBXS7B/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1497726880&sr=8-1&keywords=rgb+led+magnetic+strip+pc

It's the one that you were originally considering. All you need to do is plug them all together using the connecting wires provided and use one (Or both, you can plug them into each other for more length) of the extenders included to plug into the motherboard. You won't need any of the other stuff.

The AOC G2460PF and ViewSonic XG2401 are both solid choices. Each have FreeSync, 144hz, 1ms, and are 1080p resolution.
