    Features:
  • 180° FULL FACE DESIGN- Our snorkel mask makes it easier than ever to breathe comfortably through your mouth or nose while you are snorkeling. Our mask and snorkel provide a 180° viewing area- the biggest of any snorkel mask on the market today guaranteeing that you will see more fish and sea creatures than ever before. With our integrated GoPro Mount you can easily attach your GoPro camera to capture and share your adventure with friends and family.
  • DRY SNORKEL TECHNOLOGY stops salt water from getting into your mouth and prevents gagging. Spend less time worrying about water in your mask and more time snorkeling!
  • FOG RESISTANT DESIGN- There is nothing worse than dealing with a mask that is constantly fogging up. Our innovative design features a separate breathing chamber that creates an airflow away from your main viewing visor that helps eliminates fogging and will keep you snorkeling longer.
  • EASY TO USE- So you spend less time fussing with equipment and more time enjoying your snorkeling experience.
  • PROPER USE- Full face snorkel masks are designed for leisure surface snorkeling. Serious free diving is not recommended. Strenuous swimming while wearing any type of snorkel, including full face designs, is not recommended. Be sure to take regular breaks while snorkeling. Also follow the buddy rule: never snorkel alone.

I've been pretty pleased with the Cressi kit I bought a year ago for use during a trip to St Lucia. I spent weeks reading reviews and searching out accounts of gear experiences before making my selection. Since that trip I've used the set about a dozen times since then in rivers, pools and at the ocean and it's held up well. Still works the same as the day I first pulled it on. I've since bought a more powerful pair of fins (Cressi Gara 3000 LD) but still keep the smaller fins for casual diving. good luck!

It'll be a lot more fun to have them. I did a lot of research on scuba fins that are packable in a carry-on and these are the best options. They'll still take up a lot of space but they'll fit and they're real professional quality fins, not swimming pool toys.

One alternative is to get hand webbing things. They'll be better than flutter kicking and take minimal space.

Also look into the Altama OTB shoes as an alternative to separate dive booties.

You can get shorter fins like these ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000EM0LY4 ) that don't take up a lot of luggage space, and will make your experience much more enjoyable. And they are so inexpensive that you could even gift them to someone in Thailand if you want to free up more luggage space for the return trip.

My wife and I got these from Amazon. Worked perfect for me, she had trouble with it leaking water a tiny bit, but she had a lot of hair and probably just the shape of her head.

Tried many floats, you need to get one that is 100% guarantee'd waterproof in water whilst snorkeling/swimming.

Or put your passport and wallet in a 100% waterproof sealed envelope pocket and make sure that sits on a float that actually floats.

We have a cressi dive float which rolls up to a small size and has pockets on top which keeps things out of the water.

What is even better is a sealed bottle or something like this https://www.amazon.co.uk/Peli-1030-interior-Black-exterior/dp/B000LZWRLY/ which sits ontop of your float.

I have a Cressi snorkel set I got on Amazon for ~$40 that I've been very happy with.

I would have said Sony HDR-AS15. It comes with a waterproof housing, has 1920x1080@60fps recording capability and generally decent quality - all for $130 (what's your definition of cheap BTW?).

The downside is you have to go through a complicated process to prevent fogging inside the housing - or else you'll get 5min of clear footage and the rest will be garbage. (Like replacing the housing with Argon gas - versus water-containing air).

Rather go for a - I know - GoPro Hero Edition. It can go waterproof without a case (so no fogging issues) and cost the same as the Sony - $130.

Maybe you should have a bit more try with the snorkel set. I Love my [new snorkel mask] (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072V4FCMM)! I snorkel every weekend and couldn't find a good-fitting mask that didn't leak. I went through at least six different masks in the past year only to be disappointed each time...until I bought this mask! I have been wearing this mask for a month with ZERO problems! No leaking! No water coming in through the snorkel or mask! It works perfectly!
