I personally would recommend the helmet mount, it will give you the smoothest and therefore best result.
If you can't bring your own helmet with you or mind about loosing the adhesive plate (it is very hard to remove them, even if you manage to remove it, then the adhesive strip can be damaged).
So the next mount I would recommend is the chest harness, since you can easily use it and it is a non-permanent solution (adhesive pads are what I call a "permanent solution").
Don't mount the camera directly on your scooter/motorcycle/bike, since you will get a shitty result - mounting it on the vehicle itself should only be done for a second perspective.

Btw, I have done some testing with Atto disk benchmark. The EVO+ 256MB is faster than my Samsung PRO 64MB card. EVO+ writes at ~89MB/s, compared to 79MB/s for the PRO card. Both are UHS 3
If you have fogging issues, like when scuba diving, it's due to condensation. Start using inserts. They work like magic and you can re-heat in microwave for re-use.

If you haven’t used the waterproof case in a while, check the seals. Try submerging the closed empty case in a tub to make sure there aren’t any leaks. The latex (?)/rubber(?) o-rings on the door do go bad,
Since you’ll be in water, the remote will not work. You’ll be manually turning it on and off.
Take extra batteries with you to swap out on the boat.
Be sure you have floaties on your camera/selfie sticks. Nothing worse than losing your camera into the abyss.
Oh, be sure to buy the desiccant to go inside the case. Camera gets warm in the case and the humid air will condense inside the case

This is the only one I've used that won't rust. Top part is soft rubber. $10 is a bit pricey though! Usually this adapter comes with selfie sticks and what not.
/u/v3rtex, it looks like Lanparte now has a Sony mount (GCH-So1) for their LA3D-2 gimbal (which is compatible with GoPro's by default).

I got this along with a kit for the camera. Not sure what you mean by leash, but there was a blue one that came with this one. Are you talking about the square openings on the housing at the bottom?
