I highly recommend both Sapiens, and also The Better Angels of Our Nature: Why Violence Has Declined by Steven Pinker (which Bill Gates calls "the most inspiring book I've ever read")
They'll make you think (a lot) but they're good reads and super interesting.

As per the purpose of trademark, they are NOT misrepresenting the source of Ghost of the Precursors, and therefor are NOT infringing upon the Star Control trademark. And Paul and Fred referring to their copyrighted work Star Control 2: The Ur-Quan Masters is ALLOWED.
