Could try setting your res to 1920x1080 to see if that helps. Not an ideal solution but worth it from a troubleshooting standpoint.
To add to this, be aware this laptop uses a PenTile (RG/BW) not-true-4K display, like this. You get the risk for scaling issues of 4K, without the full sharpness of 4K in exchange for it. Some consider this to be shady marketing. More info in the /r/SuggestALaptop/ sidebar. If this is a dealbreaker to you, you're in it for the 4K, you don't care about the numpad, and you bought within the last 30 days, you have the option to return and get:
Both have true 4K displays, and either similar or better GPUs.
