I've had a Brother HL2280 for about a year and a half, and it's been very consistent and reliable.

I do print transparencies on it. Films for screen printing. Good density, but I double them up.

My only gripe so far is that I usually trace my stencils with a fine tip pen but the ink would smear on this stuff. However, the ink holds if I use a sharpie. I've been told that you can buy duralar that has a matte finish and works better to draw on. I also just ordered a stencil cutting tool which is recommended for Duralar, so hopefully it works well because I have some heavy detail designs I want to cut out but I really don't want to deal with the hours of cutting involved.

Maybe I am late to the party but I dont see anywhere on this link where it says it does not ship to Europe. In fact it does say shipping is available for other countries. I live in Central Mexico and am about to order some of this. I will let you know how it goes.

i believe this is the one i have, with the R6001 organic vapor cartridges. i'm not an expert on the subject but it seems to do the trick and isn't too terrible to wear. though, if i'm painting out in the heat for a while it does tend to collect a lot of sweat in there. bout all i can tell ya

Ok so don't hate but ..... i just used standard computer paper for these 2. I usually use this stuff but I ran out so paper it was.

use this next time, no point in cutting it out by hand if everything else is done on the pc. Have you considered silk screening?

Thanks mang, I use Duralar. For some reason every listing of it on Amazon lists the dimensions in inches x inches, when in actuality it's inches x feet. You get a fuckton of it for mad cheap. The one I linked to is 40"x50'

I buy mine locally at Michael's craft store, otherwise it's available on Amazon, and other online retailers.

That's narrow!

I did some stencils a while ago where the radius were 5-10 mm and I used the X-ACTO #4 Stencil Knife Set (X5204) on heavy bond paper. It took me a while, not easy, but at the end it came out OK.

I have to re-do it soon and I am dreading it.

If upper right is pretty sturdy it could be mylar, bit looks a little more opaque than what Ive used. The NT cutter knife cuts it fairly well, but I found the xacto pen knives are too dull.
