Thank you so much again for the reply. I know my posts can be long but no matter how long it takes for you to get back to me, I really appreciate it. Really means a lot to me to have someone as competent as yourself answer my questions, and I've been thinking about what you've said a lot lately.

>Hmmm, I don't actually know for sure which would be more stressful on your heart valves between those two choices, sorry I can't be of more help there.

I appreciate your honesty there, no problem. Smart answer.

My solution right now is to run it the NPP at 490mg and run P5P and Vitamin E instead of caber (Unless you think that'd still carry negative health effects) but if that doesn't work out then I'm done with nandrolone forever and lower dose tren would be my only 19 nor I'd use again. Don't even think I'd need any 19 nors after this blast or even now since like you said, I have a good base now. Just sucks to throw away so much NPP and tren but I'll probably just try to run test/EQ after this blast, as it keeps weighing on my mind as the smartest decision every time since you've brought it up.

>If you're taking a 10-20mg/day of Tbol as a day versus 50-100mg/day, there's obviously going to be a difference in risk. But 50mg/day isn't going to be 5x as beneficial (or even twice as good) as 10mg/day, when used to "kickstart" a cycle.

Smartest way I've seen anyone lay it out, just like you did in your other reply

> because at a certain point you're looking at heavily diminishing returns with more potential detriment. Cuz the difference between running a total of 250mg/week of 500mg/week of AAS is astronomical, but there's not that big of a difference between 500mg/week and 750mg/week, and definitely not between 1g/week and 1.5g/week. But the detrimental effects increase pretty much linearly, so the risk:reward profile gets worse and worse.

I've always understood diminishing returns, but it's just that I've seen how the muscular gains in certain testosterone studies were linear up to 600mg/week of test E (the highest dose I've seen in the studies), so I assumed that it might be linear even higher up and similarly with things like nandrolone or tren or even bold. Tried to find the studies but here is one at least Don't have access to the full text through so I'm sorry.

Regarding beta blockers, I should be able to get some metoprolol pretty easily in a few days here, although I know it's not as cardioselective as nebivolol which would be a little trickier to obtain. Not sure how much more cardioselective or better overall nebivolol would be but I've heard it's by a lot.

I might give metoprolol a try but not sure what dose you'd recommend to start at. It's alright if you don't have time to lay out specific dose related recommendations for it and let me know if you think nebivolol would be a lot better.

Thanks for explaining your reasoning for mentioning tbol as well. Surprised you didn't mention dbol or anadrol since those have been pretty widely used historically, but anadrol gives me really bad sides. I'd be willing to tolerate the bloat, high BP and pretty bad lethargy if it didn't make me lose 30-40 hairs every day lol. Dbol makes me lose just enough hairs to make it not a long term viable option, so I'll look into giving tbol a try then!

Another random thing I wanted to ask you about, you said if you do ever use AAS you'd use

>2.5mg of aromasin/day

The only pharma Aromasin pills I've seen are 25mg, how do you plan to dose 2.5mg of pharma asin?

Lastly, I see that you're mod of /r/Supplements. Thanks for the reassurance that the Vitamin D3 and CoQ10 are helpful. Just wanted to ask if you have any recommendations in regards to other things to include, or what to remove.

On blasts, I'm also still taking: Tumeric This brand, which claims to include Bioperine due to tumeric's supposed low bioavailability, just wanted to ask what you think of that or tumeric in general for AAS centered supplementation.

Which form of CoQ10 you recommend (Ubiquinone vs. Ubiquinol) or if that even matters.

In addition to Fish oil (just omega 3s, would you recommend Omega 369?), 500mg milk thistle on orals, 1.5g TUDCA on orals, 1g Choline/inositol for liver health year round, 2.2g aged garlic extract for cardiovascular health, 1.2g NAC, and a multivitamin, (Complete multi by Naturemade because they're USP certified, let me know if you have another multi preference to recommend!).

As you guys know I'm in prep and I've been doing my due diligence watching shows online to get a better understanding of what I need to do to win.

Something that absolutely stuck out to me when watching guys line up is that: confidence is everything. You don't necessarily have to have the best physique, to look the best up there. Anybody who has watched, or participated in shows will attest to this.

It's not who has the best physique, it's who can show off theirs the best in the brief time of being judged.

You hear it over and over again, and sure it may be cliche, but there's a reason for it.

There is a reason why woman are drawn to confidence.

Now, here is what I want to focus on with you all here: Let go of your preconceived notions of who you were.

As men, we are constantly growing and bettering ourselves and if you're not...you have some self evaluation to do.

Every little kid growing up fat still struggles with their "inner fat self".

Maybe a girl said you have too big a nose.

Maybe a girl said you're too short.

Got a small dick? Learn to be a master with your tongue and fingers.

The point is, your mind is the most powerful tool you have.

You guys have seen me, you know I probably can do well with women - nothing changed for me though until I changed the way I saw myself, mentally.

Once I started to believe in myself and (in retrospect - accept that you only live once, you could die tomorrow, you are who you are - focus on your strengths and your weaknesses will be dwarfed! ) my posing, my attitude, and outlook all changed for the better.

Good friends here said to stop hiding my face and smile. I did. I got tons of messages from girls with heart eyes (just to get the point across - not a humble brag ). I felt self conscious of my smile because I was bullied growing up over it, I had wide cheeks so I looked like the chestshire cat when I smiled authentically.

Tren and Mast did wonders for my jaw line and now it's not so bad now, but that's a whole other conversation haha.

The Charisma Myth

This book changed my life for the better, I can't recommend it enough. Buy it, read it, apply it.

Enjoy your new lives, after all we only have one.

> This ability, according to the book, comes down to embodying three simple qualities: Presence, power, and warmth.

>Presence: Whether we’re worried about what others may think of us or just wondering what we want for dinner, we all spend a good chunk of the day wrapped up in our own thoughts. With everyone’s brain so easily distracted the simple act of being present with another person can have a huge impact. Here’s a quick example:

>Imagine you’re talking with two people. Person A is looking you in the eye, is engaged in what you’re saying, and genuinely wants to hear more. Person B has no expression, keeps glancing at his iPhone, and is clearly waiting for his turn to talk. Which person makes you feel more important? That’s the difference presence can make.

>Power: Charismatic people are comfortable with who they are, own their space, and are not afraid to influence the world around them. People are drawn to confidence and turned off by insecurity and self-doubt.

>Of course, if you go overboard on power you may end up coming across as an arrogant or cold. Which brings us to…

>Warmth: If you want to make someone feel important, show them you fully appreciate them for who they are. Embrace their imperfections. Look past the surface and see the good qualities they have inside.

>Too much warmth however, and you end up looking a little too eager-to-please. It’s important to find that balance between warmth and power.

Diabetic here 53yo. Spent 3 years cruising: 6' 2" 220LBS, 9% Body Fat.. Here's what I learned. My apologies for the wall of text.

Diabetes tends to make your blood thicker by increasing hemoglobin levels. So does AAS. Although they each arrive at blood thickening in different scientific ways I know nothing about, they thicken your blood. Together, they can have a terribly dangerous effect on your cardiovascular system. This is not to say don't do it. But if you are going to do AAS, then you want to get regular blood tests (e/30 days) and keep a very close eye on your hemoglobin levels.

There is a simple solution to this problem, if you can find a way to do it. Bloodletting. In our case, we cannot donate blood because we use insulin. So nobody accepts our blood. Find a way to lose 1 litre of blood per month and all the hemoglobin problems are done with. (warning: good luck trying to find a doctor to do this). You may find a leech treatment center that may do this for you, but just complain about high hemoglobin. never claim AAS or everyone and your brother will turn their back on you.

AAS tends to lower your overall blood sugar readings with time. You NEED to make sure you are keeping a mindful watch on your BG levels. Test often. Especially during training. Always bring carbohydrate drinks to the gym with you. ALWAYS. Test before going into the gym and right after exercising. On legs day, test often. Legs are the biggest muscle group and use up the most carbohydrates of all muscles. You will faint from a big workout if your blood sugar drops. Avoid fainting under lots of weights.

A CGM (Continuous Glucose Meter) is your best friend, invest in one. They may be expensive, but well worth the expenditure if you're serious about training. Last I looked, you can pick one up in Amazon for like $500? Easy to get, expensive to maintain. you'll be spending around $300 a month in the little thingamajigs you inject into your skin. But use it for a month and watch your knowledge of your diabetes increase 100 fold. Then go back to pinching until you feel changes. Use it to monitor your yearly progress rather than daily.

Another piece of advice for everyone. WALK. Walk to work, walk home, walk to school, walk to the gym. WALK walk and walk. There is no better exercise for the cardiovascular system than walking. Try it. When you get to the gym, walk on the treadmill. No running, just walking. It WILL change your life whether you are a bodybuilder or a weakling. WALK goddammit.

HGH, IGF-1 will explode your blood glucose for days at a time. They tend to block insulin action and your blood sugar will stay high for days and you'll be helpless until they wear off. Stay away if you can. (I know IGF-1 claims to lower blood sugar dramatically, my results were 180 degrees opposite and dangerous). Please be careful.

Vitamin D-3. Get your levels checked out. If they are hovering around 30, you need to take Vitamin D-3 immediately. And no, 5000 IU's a day won't get those levels up.

Everyone, please read this book THE MIRACULOUS RESULTS OF EXTREMELY HIGH DOSES OF THE SUNSHINE HORMONE VITAMIN D3 MY EXPERIMENT WITH HUGE DOSES OF D3 FROM 25,000 to 50,000 to 100,000 IU A Day OVER A 1 YEAR PERIOD

It is a great read on the perils of Vitamin D3 deficiency. And no, I am in no way associated to the book or author, nor am I an Amazon affiliate. I copied and pasted the url from the Amazon Kindle page. Long story short, vitamin D3 levels should be at around 120! You will feel the difference once you get to those levels, diabetic or not. I did it, 100,000 IU's per day and it was awesome! DO NOT, NOT ATTEMPT THIS WITHOUT READING THIS BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For the sceptics, the book cites around 30k scientific studies in England about the benefits of VitaminD3 and provides links to download them all. I can't say enough good things about this.

In closing. You do not have to give up body-building or AAS. You just have to learn new things and work differently. other than that, it's business as usual.

As someone who uses a lot of heart rate monitors I can tell you that your Apple watch can be up to 10bpm off easy. Easy. If its not worn tight enough itll be off 5bpm, if the sensors wet thats 5bpm, watch slightly off center thats 5bpm off.

Not to mention when you look at your heart rate you will either see a high number and stress which raises it more, or see a low number and stress and now its a high number and you stress.

The only heart rate monitor you should trust are heart rate strap monitors and those still can be completely inaccurate if they arent kept soaking wet.

The only use the apple watch heart rate monitor is good for is knowing what general heart rate zone your in. Especially since times where you really want to know your heart rate during exercise wrist worn heart rate monitors can easily be 20% off. 160bpm is a heavy cardio zone and at 160 your wrist worn heart rate monitor can have a reading of 128-192bpm.

Proof This is my resting heart rate on my Garmin Vivosmart 3 (which has a heart rate sensor as accurate or more compared to the apple watch AFAIK) vs my Suunto Ambit 2. Shitty filter to make the Suunto easier to read because juggling keeping both the backlight on the suunto and the vivosmart from timing out and turning the display off and focusing the picture was a fucking ordeal.

To combat MPB, you need to cover all bases. MPB is caused by a couple different things:

  1. Tightening of the galea, the muscle above the eyebrows.
As it gets tighter, oxygenation of blood goes down. This is confirmed by many studies (men with MPB have 43% less oxygenation of scalp blood than non balding men). T converts to DHT in low oxygen environments. This is why DHT levels are higher in the scalp of MPB patients than in non MPB patients (serum DHT levels are the same in both groups though).

This is the toughest one for people to take. They've been told for a very long time that its (all genetic). While its true, it may very well be genetic, that's not really an acceptable answer as to why some people lose their hair and others don't. Everything is genetic. In the case of cancer, that's a purely genetic disease. Yet they didn't just give up trying to fight cancer because its "genetic."

There is some truth in the genetic theory. Some people have more Androgen receptors (there's 2 types in the scalp i think) in their scalp. But when they tested MPB patients, those who had more androgen receptors due to their genetics were still in the minority (around 35% I believe).

Also, if this genetic theory were completely true in that hairloss is not being caused by some outside force, then there would be no pattern. The pattern disproves the genetic theory immediately, since all the hairs on your head would minaturize at the same rate.

This doesn't happen though, and there is a distinct pattern.

The same people who believe the genetic theory do agree though, that the miniaturization is happening because of DHT. Since there is a gradual pattern towards the center of the scalp, we can agree that the DHT accumulation is happening gradually towards the center. This conflicts with their being an end all be all genetic issue.

This gradual DHT accumulation supports the tight scalp theory.

Also, they've had an 80% success rate growing hair back in balding patients by using botox in the muscles around the scalp (nail in the coffin).

    http://www.jwatch.org/jd201111100000001/2011/11/10/growing-hair-with-botox

  2. Fungus. Yes, that's right, fungus. One of the best remedies for MPB is an anti-fungal called ketoconazole. Certain organisms that live on our skin actually can cause sebum (oil) buildup, and its speculated that this buildup may contribute to DHT accumulation in the scalp.

  3. Genetic hormone levels: it could just be caused by some people creating more DHT than most people. This is very rare though.

    Solutions:
  4. Fungal shampoo. Use every day (don't use any other shampoos):

This is a great one. Keep it on for 5 minutes, then wash it out really well.

I really like this one. Makes your hair super soft. It says leave it on for 2 minutes, but I leave it on for 5.

  5. Minoxidil. Minoxidil 5% works well, but there's different blends of stuff. The best one is the one with retinol. There's only one company that sells it with retinol (retinol is used to speed up cell division. Clinical studies show that minoxidil with retinol is far more effective.

  6. finasteride. Just get a perscription. Buy it from india on the cheap. Not a great solution, but right now, its the only mainstream way.

  7. Rosemary oil: use this as conditioner and rub it in. Great for regrowth.

    http://www.amazon.com/NOW-Foods-Rosemary-Oil-ounce/dp/B0014UEEXY/ref=sr_1_2_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1458332618&sr=8-2&keywords=now+rosemary+oil

  8. RU58841 : experimental androgen inhibitor. Works really well. Buy it from rui-products.com

This one here (there are lots of others in that price range, can't go wrong. Just read some reviews first)

Usual meal: Some Protein Source(Pork, Beef, Salmon, Tuna, Shrimps/Seafood), some vegetables (Bell Peppers, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Eggplant, Zucchini, Tomato(those are a bit tricky), etc) and since I'm bulking, a carb side dish like white rice, small potatos or something similar. Also like to add some Tofu Stuff once in a while, tastes great.

Spices and Condiments are vital, I use Soy Sauce, Bamboo Stripes, fresh turmeric, fresh pepper, fresh weed stuff, especially mint is awesome. Sparingly coconut sauce, and the normal stuff like black pepper, Paprika, Chilli, Salt, Curry, Oregano ... .

Cooking is rather simple. First wash and prepare all the ingredients, and put them out of the fridge 20-30 mins before cooking to let them reach room temperature, makes it a lot easier. Throw in just a hint of oil, cook the meat/fish/tofu to your liking, throw in the vegetables until they reach the state you like, stir it around, add the spices and seasoning, put on the lid, turn the heat low, or even off, and let it simmer for 10-20 minutes, Just be sure to occassionally stir that it doesn't stick or burns. Add a bit of water if it does.

The carb side dishes should be cooked separately. You can add them in after all is done, or keep it in another container and mix it on the plate. I prefer to not mix it, since it can get mushy if you do. But sometimes it's nice to mix is ;).

>You take a antibiotic ed?! That doesn't sound to good.

Zero sides when taken with a probiotic, at least so far. You can get an Indian pharma doxycycline with lactic acid bacillus. It's a pretty common prescription from dermatologists for acne and a step below accutane in terms of harshness, although 20 mg accutane ED is supposed to be relatively mild as well.

The benzoyl peroxide definitely helps. I always make sure to shower or at least wash my shoulders and back immediately after working out. I use this for exfoliation before applying, washing it every 3-4 days to avoid bacteria build-up. I also wear a fresh T-shirt to bed and change my pillow case at least once a week.

If I were still having acne issues after all of that, yeah, I'd probably drop the test. Acne fuckin sucks.

Idk what that guy freakout out about lol but go to any pharmacy or online and they should have one of these there. make sure the cuff is appropriate size for your arm. Check at home freely and they are pretty darn accurate.

P.s. always take 3-4 readings. ignore the first one and average the last 3. thats your BP.

No, I weigh everything out. Scales are cheap and pretty accurate. And if you're off by a tenth of a gram then you're probably doing better than most batches of retail pre-wkts. And no I'm not saying they're lieing on their labels. Only that there's natural variance from container to container.

That said, each container of product will have a serving size. For example, 1/2 a teaspoon of beta alanine is around 2g if I recall correctly. So you could measure that way.
