1. Outsidepride Gazania Kiss Rose - 100 Seeds

    Features:
  • This gazania is a surefire winner in any flower bed due to its visual appeal and continual dependability. It boasts 3 inch rose colored flowers on a compact 10 inch plant which will also spread 10 inches. The large, daisy-like flowers come in a variety of colors, but this rose is a show stealer.
  • Gazanias are 10 inch tall perennial plants growing in USDA zones 8 - 11.
  • Flowers are held above the basal foliage, forming a bright carpet of color when planted in large masses. Kiss gazanias are good plants for the front of sunny garden borders and also perform well as a flowering ground cover when planted in large groups.
  • Because of their heat and drought tolerance, Kiss gazanias are especially useful near driveways and sidewalks. They also do well in mixed container plantings. Gazanias are considered annuals in the north; however, in the warmest areas of the country, such as southern Texas and parts of California, they're short-lived perennials, usually not lasting more than a few years.

Heyyyyy, YOUUUU!! I haven't seen your ID in the various posts' comments in a little while! I hope all is well, aside from your poor plants. Ohhhh...! I'm so sorry to learn about your bird nest "situation". I had a similar thing happen with one of my hanging baskets (but, with mourning doves) and I ended up watching my plant slowly wither away... It's such a struggle when Mother Nature makes you choose between adored plants and birds that want to start a family. But, I hope you can figure out a way to water your mint without disturbing the cardinals too much.

And, I'm so sorry to learn of your plants that dried up and died. Yes, gazanias are so common down here in SoCal (Southern California) but, I still love their colors and color combinations. I actually recently purchased two packets of seeds from Amazon by a business called "Outsidepride". I've had really good results with seeds I'd puchased from them in the past so, I kinda tend to stick with them. (NOTE: I'm not advertising for them nor am I sponsored by them.😄)

But, in case you were curious, the seed packets were for: 1) 100 seeds of Gazania rigens Kiss Rose and 2) 100 seeds of Gazania rigens Red Shades
