Very late but please don't listen to this advice, I've had tinnitus since I was about 16 and it's really not worth it.
If you're really desperate to experience Swans in their true form, take your earplugs out for just one song - I did it for Screenshot. Otherwise just buy some normal earplugs, if you're willing to drop like £20 you can get some ones that don't impact sound quality much at all. I've got these ones and they're pretty good https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00RM6Q5HM/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I wore these when I saw Swans and the show still sounded great imo: https://www.amazon.com/Etymotic-Research-ETY-Plugs-Protection-Earplugs/dp/B0044DEESS
Probably Cows by Matthew Stokoe, some Irvine Welsh, Sam Delany's Hogg, Crash/Atrocity Exhibition, Story of the Eye, like half the stories in this collection
Get some Etymotic reusable earplugs (the standard size seems to be smaller than "standard" according to reviews and personal experience). Lowers the volume of the concert without muffling the sound. It actually makes some shows sound better in my experience, specifically bass heavy hip hop shows. You really should wear earplugs to every live music show you go to.
If you can, spend a few bucks on earplugs designed for concerts, i.e. designed to lower volume equally across all frequencies, so the sound doesn't seem muffled. I personally recommend these.
