6'6" 180lbs current college student here. I've found dockers 11" shorts to be an amazing fit for me, you can get them from kohls for pretty cheap right now.

In terms of t-shirts, I'm in the same boat with Old Navy. Great comfortable shirts at a very good price.

For pants, levi 511s come in 32x36L and they fit me great. I picked mine up off of amazon, quick and easy.

Those are my favorite tall items to date, and they're all pretty affordable buys.

Not sure if it is too late to reply to this, but I forgot for a while to come back and update the thread with the one that I settled on. I took a chance on a Goodthreads Men's Long-Sleeve Slub Thermal Pullover Hoodie because of your recommendation and the reasonable price made it a low risk idea. I almost always go for a Large Tall, but on your recommendation I tried the Medium Tall and love it. It is so long and comfortable without being baggy. I'm definitely going to be trying more Goodthreads stuff in the future.

I just wanted to make sure I came back here to say thanks for the recommendation.

Port & Company Men's Tall Long Sleeve 50/50 Cotton/Poly T Shirt LT Charcoal https://www.amazon.com/dp/B015E15MDO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_zBI1Ab1Q6KF5B

It's $9 on Amazon, shipped kinda slow but fits me pretty well. They will shrink a little, but for $9 it's worth buying, washing and drying a few times, and trying it on. I bought 7 of em cuz the first one fit great. Did I mention it's $9?

I always recommend checking out Calvin Klein, although they are definitely more pricey. My personal favorite are their Steel Micro Low Rise Trunk, but they are most definitely out of your price range. Honestly, the underwear will last you a long time. I saved up some money and just bought sets of 4 of black, gray, white, dark blue. It's enough to hold me over for almost 2 weeks without doing laundry.

Keep in mind their trunks, and not boxer briefs, so they are technically smaller. CK makes actual boxer briefs though, just look around.

For the record, I'm 6'4", ~185 lbs, 32-34 waist.

Unfortunately I don't know of ADV style pants in that size, but if you are looking for the "wearing inside a restaurant" part and are interested in riding jeans, I like my Maxler jeans. They make one without the calf zipper too. Comfy, don't look out of place, long (I usually wear a 36" inseam, and these are plenty long), and the knee armour can be easily removed to get rid of the bulky knee look. Hope this helps some.

Please, give this a shot: Levis STF (http://amzn.com/B0018OHP0K).

I'm a skinny 6'1". I ordered the 36 waist, 40 inseam, and after the shrink, they fit great (just slightly relaxed once they're loosened up from the day).

On amazon, you can order any size you want.

Heyo! 6'2" here. I like these, might be extra handy with the buttons in the legs to pull them up to capris while biking. I've also found these really comfortable for day to day. Prana does about a 36" inseam on their tall sizes and they seem like miracle pants.

I almost hesitate to post this, but I just ordered 4 more pairs (after the first arrived today) and I'll stash them in the closet. Super comfortable and sizing is spot-on for me. As of now, the Khaki is $9.07, Tobacco color is $11 and the Black & Navy are both $14. Ships from and sold by Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0779NJ8DY/

Amazon's in house brand Goodthreads makes a surprisingly good hoodie in a variety of styles and materials:

Fleece pullover

Lightweight slub pullover

Thermal pullover

And others!

ETA: They come in tall sizes and are a fairly trim fit. I'm the same size as you (6'5", 195 lbs) and the medium tall fits me very well.

https://www.amazon.com/Port-Company-Tall-Cotton-Poly/dp/B00GZ0QAB2 I tried these. Material isn't as good but the fit seems similar. I'm going to order a few more. It's as happy as I've been so far.

English Laundry Parka It's like $70, is super warm and fits great. The hood is a bit large but I took to the tailor and they fixed that for like $20.

Ones that are specifically excellent for that:Ecco Biom Lite. They are very comfy, light, and make my feet actually look a bit small.

Note: I usually wear US11.5, but in these I take 44/10.5, and they fit like a well-oiled glove. I'm on my 2nd pair, and wouldn't mind buying another if they offered more colors.

These shirts are great. I'm 6'6, wear a 39-40" dress shirt sleeve, have a 6'11" wingspan, and these fit great in both the body and the sleeves. A large fits me well (215 lbs.), medium is tight but still looks good, XL is a baggy look on me.
