Totally unrelated but I bought this one off Amazon a couple of years ago and I use it everyday. It's perfect for its price point and I kind of love it. Ok, i really love it. And it looks really nice, not cheap at all. I mean it's no fancy Jenelle vanity but it gets the job done.

I posted this in another sub about a month ago for someone wanting to learn:

It's a very inexpensive hobby. Here are the things I put on my Amazon list, just for reference if you or anyone else needed it:

Set of 4 different sized wooden hoops- $11.99 Plastic ones may be easier for some people, I prefer wooden because they're more my style for framing.

Aida 14ct Cloth 12x18- $3.55 14ct Aida is easiest to work with for beginners. The size of this is good for practicing on, get a couple so you can use the other for your first project. You can also purchase large rolls of it when you start becoming obsessed with it. They also come in lots of different colors and easy to dye yourself.

Set of 150 different colored skeins of DMC floss- $15.98 This is a great amount to start off with. It'll last you a long time, and if you ever need more or want new colors, they are very inexpensive from any craft store and Walmart. Usually around $0.25-$0.50. FYI floss splits apart into 6 tiny strings. Start off using only 2-3 strands
Do all 6 and you're gonna have a bad time.

Needles!- $3.49 Can't stitch without needles!

Bobbins and a thread organizer- $6.49 You will need this. I waited too long to get one and ended up have to wind up hundreds of tangled skeins and it took HOURS. Do it before you start practicing. Also write the thread color number on the top of each bobbin with permanent marker. When you use patterns they will be based off the color numbers.

Julie Jackson's subversive cross stitch book- $12.99 If you like those snarky offensive cross stitchings, this is the best book for it. It's also an amazing beginners guide into cross stitching. It has brief instructions on how to start and very simple but adorably offensive patterns. You can also get other books or use YouTube to find instructions on how to get started. I'd also like to suggest going to etsy for patterns. They're pretty cheap and there's endless options.

So about $55 to get started plus shipping, but it'll last you a long time and could be used on many different projects and you won't spend nearly as much when you do need something else.

As a lady who wears fake eyelashes every day, the struggle is real. Some days one eye is perfect and the other looks like it's having a stroke. Other days one looks like it has perfect eyeliner while the other looks like it went jumping off a tire swing into the Mississippi. Long story short, I feel ya Farrah.

On a serious note, I highly recommend fake eyelashes to everyone. Not fancy ones, my fave are Eyelure volume lashes in a multipack. Cheaper than fancy mascara, if you're like me and every single thing on your face smudges these stay put and don't create black circles under your eyes, they take 2sec to put on and even less to take off, not to mention your eye makeup looks flawless all day. I thought fake lashes were beyond ridic until I started wearing them and now I can't imagine a life without them. They sound so high maintenance but my morning makeup routine was sliced by 75% and my evening removal routine is so much easier and cleaner. Ulta, Target, and Sephora have phenomenal lash selections, find the pack perfect for you, wear them for a week, then move on to a fresh pair. hashtagfakelashes4lyfe

I was actually terrified to cosleep until I did some reading on it. [Dr James McKenna](Sleeping with Your Baby: A Parent's Guide to Cosleeping https://www.amazon.com/dp/1930775342/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_1zNyyb9HW4PR9) is the leader on cosleeping studies in the US. I read this book before I started cosleeping. Cosleeping was necessary for us to get through the night.
Also, Dr Sears has some insight on cosleeping and SIDS
Dr Sears
Finally, when you want to ease your little one into their own bed gently, The No Cry Sleep Solution has some great advice. I used this book like an Manuel during my first year of parenting.

I'm a cosleeper and a big advocate of education of safe cosleeping. That doesn't mean cosleeping is right for you and your family. I just wanted you to have some reading material from people who have actually studied the effects of cosleeping.

PS: My best friend's baby died of SIDS, not cosleeping. So I am very familiar with how awful it is and her situation was so terrifying to me going into motherhood. I spent a great deal of time searching for answers about SIDS, as did my friend. The truth is, there are risk factors, but no known causes.

Good luck to you. I hope you and your family get some rest!

Yeah I get that. I mainly got mine off of amazon because I was approved for their credit card and it had really good reviews. But I'm happy I purchased it. I'm posting the link down below, let me know of you get it 😉

I have REALLY light eyebrows and I definitely recommend Anastasia's brow products, especially their Brow Powder Duo, I use it daily. also recommend Etude House's Tint My Brows Gel, it's basically henna for your eyebrows. there are some mixed feelings about this product (some people have had hairs peels off and it turns orange when it fades) but it's great for special occasions/when you wanna have a lazy makeup week.

Natural family planning? No, a box of 55 ovulation test strips is $8. 55 tests would probably last someone not trying to conceive about 3 months. You do need to be extremely knowledgeable on your body, you need to test your vaginal temperature, and keep track of your cervical mucus, as well as test. I did read somewhere though that the average person does become pregnant within a year of using this method because it is not fool proof, and it does not protect against STDs.

I'm getting a tubal ligation because* this is my third baby in three years and our family is complete. 😊

You'll get your groove. A lot of times I kicked my husband out of bed or slept in the guest room. He snores so friggin loud and I have no advice for that.

I highly recommend this sleep training book I'll link below. Start at about five months. We tried a few methods with my son before landing on this one and it's the best method. If you switch to formula, you have to get the baby brezza. It's like a keurig. Bottle in ten seconds.

I used to have a floordrobe but I invested in this and it was seriously worth it. It's easy to put everything away and frees up my closet for (desperately needed) storage.
