I finally ponied up for it 3 years ago when I saw this. That's a pretty darn good deal, and it's cheaper than it was when I originally bought it.
Well if you wanna try colors before going all the way and dyeing it, I recommend trying these.

Removing the mouth entirely gives it a closed mouth type of look and removing the eyes just makes it look like she is a robot.

The toy is a little taller than a Funko pop. There are variants for other Titans. I have seen Robin at Toys R' Us at least.

Sorry to chime in 7 days late, but you've got it backwards: the Teen Titans Go comic is based on the cartoon show, not the other way around. The first issue was published in November of 2003, whereas the cartoon show first aired in July of 2003. The comics were a complement to the cartoon.
The comics that the show is based on are the 1980s Marv Wolfman/George Perez "New Teen Titans" comics, which are stylistically very different from the cartoon show (no anime influence, for instance).
