I really like this Smith & Wesson LED Flashlight. I liked it so much I bought one for my Dad as well.
You just need a bit of product (hairspray, mousse, gel, etc) to give her hair some texture. Smooth, medium length hair just doesn't stay well in braids or buns. If you don't want to put sticky stuff in her hair, look for silicone coated hair clips and ties. Toothed hairbands will also make ponytails super easy.

Just based off current baseball demographics, you can probably throw to some degree if you're white or hispanic.
