Are you looking for a broad overview, something more technical, or specifically machine learning algorithms?

I'm reading Advances in Financial Machine Learning at the moment. It's pretty relevant for quants and trading, and has code snippets in Python. Was going to recommend it to you guys.

Thanks for your input! The battery constraint is likely also a factor of why I'm waffling on making the a purchase and it seems Dells use 3-cell for their entry level models whereas other companies like Lenovo use the 4 cell. A great read The Athenian Murders By José Carlos Somoza "The Cave of Ideas", this book's title in the original Spanish, is actually a far better one; certainly more apt.

Fabozzi or Tuckman are essentially the Natenberg of Fixed Income. Jha is well regarded too. Of course economic theory is thrown in this also, which can lead you down many roads depending upon the school of thought.

I was watching an interview with Berner (popular marijuana producer) who was saying one of their fears of corporatization of the industry is reducing the quality of the product (e.g. not taking the time to properly dry) in order to sell more units cheaper. I think that's bound to happen like every industry, but for me it will still be cheaper to buy from the store now matter what quality I want. Just the electricity costs and odor keep me from doing it, not to mention time.
