That is a very good range, great price point for awesome hunting knives.

Here’s a couple all purpose bushcraft/outdoors knives:

The Benchmade Buschraft: Micarta scales and a very nice leather sheath put it at $200 even. Benchmade is made in the US and is very well known for their high quality and their great warranties. I just bought a Crooked River and am enamored by it.

Next up is the Fallkniven F1. It’s got a composite rubber handle but is still full tang. Made out of VG10 which means high rust resistance, great for bloodwork in the cold when you don’t have a lot of time to clean it. This brand is out of Sweden and those dudes know their outdoors gear. I could go on and on about them but there’s not much more needed to be said. At $115 you’re getting an incredible knife for a hell of a price.

Now look at the Esee 6P, this is a good example of everything a knife should be and no more. Its 1095 high carbon steel so the implication would be to keep it cleaned and oiled, but there is a DLC (diamond like carbon coating) so it will keep the rust at bay until it wears off over time. $116 is a modest price, especially for the size of this particular knife.

That being said I don’t know a great deal of “brand name” filet knives but what I can assure you of is that there is no more a reliable product than a Morakniv. They literally have a knife for every job, and they’re all incredibly robust and utilitarian. Don’t let the low price point fool you, they are worth much more than the company charges. These are made of 12c27n sandvik steel, again in Sweden. The steel is good stuff, nothing glamorous but still a step above 440c. They have awesome belt clips that are just as simple as can be and I couldn’t personally suggest a whole line of knives other than Morakniv.

YES! YES! YES! The Bullet Journal Method was created by Ryder Carroll who has ADHD.

My favorite produts:

Scrivwell Dot Matrix Notebook It's $12 (USD) and has 100gsm (aka thick) paper so that ghosting (where you see the what you've written on the other page) is minimal and bleeding (where your ink or markers soak through to the next page) is non-existent.

Steadler Triplus Fineliners Hands down the best pens I have used for my journal.

Crayola Super Tip Markers I use these instead of Tombrow Brush Pens because they are cheap and give me similar results.

Correction Tape No brand preference. It's a non liquid white-out that helps when you make mistakes, and you will make mistakes.

Thomas Romain’s artwork has been trending on r/toptalent for a long time, bringing this subreddit a lot of traffic and consequently a lot of subscribers. As a huge thank you, shoutout to his book (ref) and his instagram.

PSA: I took a break from posting daily because I noticed it gave the impression that I’m the only one allowed to post when I intend this subreddit to be open for everyone. I’m done with my break as I’ve noticed a lot more posters. I didn’t stop finding content on my break, I just mustered up the strength not to post it lol. I’m going to be putting more effort into immediately giving source as the bigger the subreddit grows the bigger my moral responsibility is to do so. Thanks for making r/toptalent such an amazing community to be a part of.

Just FYI, it sucks. It never works as intended. Would be amazing if it did though!

EDIT: It might be an alright product actually, I never tried it myself. I was basing my comment off a handful of amazon reviews

So beautiful. I teared up a little. I wish he would publish it as a book. I would buy it.

Just a bigger version of the Airzooka I bought for my kid's birthday! These things are pretty funny. Loud though. https://smile.amazon.com/Can-Imagine-Airzooka-Green-Purple/dp/B00C2SBSRC/

Grumbacher just started selling sketchbooks with pages you can pop in and put in.
https://www.amazon.com/Grumbacher-Mixed-inches-Sheets-26460700613/dp/B071FRGRFK

I have purchased wirebound sketchbooks for travel diaries and taken them apart and reassembled them before I go. I'd get a grey paper one, a black paper one, and a white paper one. I'd gently winkle them apart and mix up the papers so I could vary drawings with text as I traveled

Confirmed, dad of a 2 and 6 year old that help me prep in the kitchen. Youngest gets to slice tofu using these bad boys https://smile.amazon.com/StarPack-Nylon-Kitchen-Knife-Piece/dp/B0162AI724/ and oldest gets to use either the larger version of those or a marginally sharper butter knife on some peppers or mushrooms. She's getting close to skilled enough that I'd trust her with a paring knife, though...

I believe it’s actually a brush (this one: Artetje 630 Camlon Pro Plata and the artist is using some kind of ink 🙂 Edit to add I’m not sure what the second, larger brush is.

That sure beats my magic light thumbs disappointment

There are kits you can buy to make similar things. They probably won't be the art that this video demonstrates, but that's up to you.
