Random, but here's how I've learned to hide shadow:

Shave, wet shave if you can for a closer shave. Dab all these on with a sponge, apply where the shadow is darkest (usually the chin) first, then dab and feather out from there, including your neck. Make sure all of these match your skin colour, examples just fit mine.

First, concealer:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0058CPGAO/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06__o00_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1

This gives you a good base, you don't need much of this to cover but it should be heaviest where your shadow is more pronounced. You can also use a nice lipstick shade for this as the red will offset the shadow, but liquid concealers are best.

Second, Primer:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/BENEFIT-COSMETICS-POREfessional-oz-Comes-Unboxed/dp/6041750573/ref=sr_1_30_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1550416069&sr=8-30&keywords=primer

Again, from the darkest areas, this gives your skin a nice matt soft, even and flat base for the rest of your makeup. It'll hide lumps and bumps from shaving. I use the one I linked because it's great for sensitive skin, moisturizes and smells like chocolate oranges.

Third, Liquid Foundation:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Bourjois-Healthy-AntiFatigue-Foundation-Vanilla/dp/B01N4EGMTG/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?ie=UTF8&qid=1550416544&sr=8-2-spons&keywords=liquid+foundation&psc=1

Apply as you did the concealer - this will be a little more liquid and stains clothes super easy, so be careful! Starting at the darkest areas, then cover the face and neck. When that is dry move onto step 4.

Fourth, Powder Foundation:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Rimmel-London-Pressed-Powder-Transparent/dp/B004M9L0WW/ref=sr_1_4_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1550416690&sr=8-4&keywords=powder+foundation

This is to make your makeup a little less shiny and a little more natural, it also helps hide and deal with sweat on your face.

This may sound like it would look super cakey but as you're applying it you'll be able to see where you think it's looking that way and deal with it as you go along. It'll look really natural and is a great every day makeup.

This also works for chest areas if you're looking to wear something a little low cut - I get a shadow almost immediately too and this lasts me all day.

After you've applied all this you'll have a good base for the rest of your makeup - contouring (find a complimentary colour to your skin and apply with a brush), eyebrow, lips and eye. For a darker eye liner look, I've been told to use both a pencil as a base and a liquid liner on top.

Hope this helps!

Omg ok babe lemme help you out. get an enema, either this one or like this and like right before you go to town on yourself, get some lube some warm water, fill it up, and then stick it in you and empty, do this a few times.

I found this little tutorial to be helpful its a different type of enema in the video but same process. I don’t do is laying down I just sit on the toilet so just take what she says as loose guidance and find what works for you. And there’s many videos if you don’t find this one helpful

Then I do it until all that comes out is just water, between 3-5 times usually, if you do this, then there should be nooo cleanup it’s great, prep is better than cleanup. Well if you consider wiping up lube then there is cleanup but I digress.

And then it makes ass play a million times easier, I personally don’t even use toys on myself since I can’t make myself cum with them on my own, but when someone else uses is they can literally make me go wild. I’d recommend playing around with friends and just seeing what works for you.

I was scared to go deep at first but now it’s like make me bleed I dunno omg it all feels so good. Ik you didn’t ask for this but anal is great and I hope you can discover a way you can enjoy it too 😄

Okay, I'm gonna try to make this as fact heavy and gender neutral as I can, if I fuck up, that's my bad. I'm just somewhat passionate about cups. Usually I'm passionate towards users who have irritation or allergies to disposable products, but honestly as a cis woman pads and tampons ARE way too girly. I can't imagine being a man and dealing with that BS. Sorry you have to.

Black and Red. You get two for under $10 (plus shipping if you don't have Prime) and while the packaging is purple and kinda feminine (and the bag inside is purple satin) you can toss all of that and use any breathable bag you wish. I had a knitted camo one for awhile.

Basics: If the stem bugs you, trim it. Just be careful not to poke a hole in your cup, but all of mine are trimmed completely off and work fine.

If its still too long for you even without the stem, or iff the textured sides bug you, turn it inside out. It works exactly the same except is slightly more slippery. Regardless, its easy to use once you have the hang of it.

If you don't have enough fluid flow when you put it of, put it under a faucet for a second. Its enough lubrication for silicone and doesn't have the weird feel of lube.

When wearing, if should be almost unnoticeable. If you have pain or discomfort, adjust it because it should NOT hurt. I frequently forget I'm wearing it, silicone warms to body temperature and so if your cup fits, you won't feel much until its time to empty, at which point it kinda drops down a bit.

You can wear it when not on your period if your natural discharge bugs you. I have no idea if that is an issue for you, but sometimes it is for me and my doctor was clear that as long as I'm using a clean cup (having two makes that easier) I could wear it every single day without issue.

After dumping it, wash with non-antibacterial soap or just wipe with TP or water/TP. At the end of using it, wash it well with soap and water, then soak in Peroxide or boil for 10 minutes. Another option is this thing:

https://www.amazon.com/Menstrual-Cup-Sterilizer-Minutes-Period/dp/B07M5HGTJ6/ref=sr_1_5?crid=1FUH85MSKC74D&keywords=menstrual+cup+cleaner&qid=1568694739&s=hpc&sprefix=mens%2Chpc%2C149&sr=1-5

Its legit awesome. Steam cleans your cup so you could sterilize it while you shower. And not particularly feminine looking, it kinda looks like an electric tooth brush charger to me.

Good luck, man. Hope some of this is useful info.

> As a writer, use it all for your next book.

Honestly, there is every single chance of that happening. I've been thinking a lot lately about making my next one, if there is a next one, a book about loneliness.

Which this one honestly also kind of was, but I could definitely hit that note harder and more specifically if I came at it from a different angle.

> Also please tell us how we can support you and read your book! Now's the time to publicise.

Yeah, I know. It's just... It's deeply uncomfortable.

I've been sitting here, posting the link whenever people ask for it, and I feel like such a piece of shit for it. "You baited them into this by talking about the book at all. You're just using everyone," etc. etc. etc. etc.

That's why it took me, like, a full day to come back to this after people started asking for the title or the link.

I am just very, very not used to putting myself out there.

Anyway, link is here.
