In a way, she wanted you to be able to prick your finger, and with just one drop of blood, be able to get blood test results for over a hundred different diseases. The problem was you need lots of blood to test for all the things she claimed she could test for and required lots of professional lab equipment, not just a little box. There is a great book about it that goes into great detail and is a fantastic read called Bad Blood

This reminds me of a book I read but I can't remember the name of it... It had a very similar story line. I'll edit this if I can remember/track it down.

Edit: Ah here it is. It was an ok story.

I'm not sure what streaming options there (none, I presume), but Amazon has a subtitled DVD http://www.amazon.com/Kopps-Region-2-Fares/dp/B000AAWO0E/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1405459465&sr=8-1&keywords=Kopps

It is, however, Region 2, so you'd need a regionfree player if you're in the US.

EDIT: I now realise you probably meant the trailer. I did a quick search and found this clip with English subtitles: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ghWTlp-bnJc

I read this book several years ago about a pair of identical twin girls who were also separated at birth by Louise Wise's agency. They were a part of the same study. Has your dad or either of his brothers ever reached out to other children involved in the study?

It's interesting that you should mention hell. I'm wondering if this documentary is based on the book Dominion, which has a strong religious basis.

The only conncetion to Palo Alto this movie seems to have is James Franco, who went to Paly.
He also wrote a book by the same name - "11 amazingly underwhelming stories"
