Yeah, of course! Make-up has been a huge passion of mine, even when I was pre-transition (back then I just kept it to BB Cream tho). So to start, I'd recommend getting brushes and a beauty blending sponge. These are going to be your best friend when applying different foundations, highlights, eye shadow, basically everything. I start my make-up process by washing my face, then applying toner, and some light moisturizer.
Then I start by applying my color corrector for under my eye to rid of the dark circles. If you still have a shadow on your lip and chin, then go with an orange color corrector specifically for those problem shadow areas. This will neutralize the purple color and make your shadow go goodbye~. Apply the color corrector, then blend them out with the blending sponge by lightly tapping it on your skin.
After that, you apply the foundation. To find the right color, go into places like Ulta or Sephora where you can see what tone your skin is. I personally use IT CC Cream as a base foundation. For this, I use a foundation brush to apply it on my face. Do not overdue the foundation as it can look really caked on and artificial if you use too much. Don't forget to a little bit to your neck so that there isn't a lot of contrast between your face and neck. Avoid getting foundation on your eyelids as well, that's for your eye shadow and eyeliner and applying it on your eyelids can make them melt faster.
This is super optional and it just depends on the thickness of your brows but I use brow dip to create a better shape for my eyebrows. I do this for my eyebrows because even tho they are still good in color and thickness, there are some areas where they can be filled in and make a nicer overall look. I would recommend a eyebrow pencil when you first start off that matches your hair color. If you feel adventurous, you can use a brow dip like I do for a more deeper and stronger eyebrow look. Dip-brow is really nice but its easy to screw up so be careful, when I first started using it, I would apply too much and accidentally make my brows look more masculine then they already are.
Next comes the primer and eye shadow, this is where most of the fun is and where experimentation mostly happens for me. The eye shadow primer is important so that your eye shadow stays on for most of the day and it typically is a liquid so just rub that with your fingers on your eye lids and a little under the eye. I use I use Juvia's The Nubian eye shadow palette, it has more natural colors and some reds and golds that are less dramatic compared to other colors. Basically, this palette is perfect for beginners not looking for a super out there look. I would recommend looking at YouTube tutorials for the application of both eye shadow and eyeliner because there are different ways to do so and it would take me a little longer to explain the process TuT. The best eye liner for a good price I've found is from Maybeline. This one in particular doesn't smudge as much as others and is the cheaper option when practicing eyeliner.
After that is done, it's the small things I do. I apply a little powder on my face with a focus on my cheeks, nose, and forehead so that I don't look too oily and gross. Sometimes I add some pink blush to my cheekbones if it compliments my eye shadow. Next I apply some highlighter over my cheekbones, tip of the nose, and on the top cupids bow of your lip. The highlighter should be very light as applying too much will make you shine and glisten as if you look super oily. Just a touch is good enough in most cases with makeup unless you are going for a more dramatic effect. And finally, I apply a small thing of lip stick/gloss/stain to really make everything pop and cute. I like lip stain the best because I feel it lasts the longest out of the three and you can have different shades off of one bottle by simply not applying as much lip stain initially or by wiping some excess off with a tissue.
Remember that makeup takes some practice so don't get discouraged if you screw anything up, especially eyeliner as it takes a steady hand. Also, if your looking for an everyday easy look, just stick to the color correction, foundation, and lipstick. I do this look sometimes as doing the whole process can sometimes take me 20 minutes while the quick method can only take 5 minutes from my day.
See if there are groups for LGBTQ youth, and especially Trans and gender-questioning youth, in your area.
Tell your kid flat-out that if they're Trans or gender-questioning, binary or non-binary, it's completely fine with you, and you will support them no matter what. We have to actually explicitly say the words, or the message isn't clearly received. I'll never forget the wonderful PFLAG mom (join PFLAG, by the way, especially if your local chapter has a group for parents of Trans and gender-questioning kids) who talked about her gay son coming out in his early 20s; he was terrified to tell his parents, which confused and upset them because they'd very consciously never said anything about being gay not being okay. His response was "But Mom, you never said that it was okay either."
Remember, too, that you have to walk your talk when you say you'll support them no matter what. Support for Trans youth matters. Support doesn't mean saying "I support you" and then not using their name and/or pronouns, or telling them they have to wait until they're 18 to pursue medical transition, or telling them that they should try not to stand out so much if they don't want to be bullied or harassed or afraid. That isn't support. If they don't feel supported, they're in the stat group of unsupported youth.
This is more of a general resource dump, but I hope it helps!
The books The Transgender Child and The Transgender Teen by Stephanie Brill are the two halves of your new bible, seriously. There's also a new book out for Trans teens and their families, called Where's MY Book? by Linda Gromko, MD. I haven't read it yet, but it looks well worth a look.
Check out http://t-vox.org/ and http://camparanutiq.org/ . Your kid would love Camp Aranu'tiq.
Watch this great video too. It's about Trans kids and it's really good. (Ignore the line from one mom about how blockers are "brand new". They aren't. They've been used for decades. The books I mentioned above explain a lot more about all that.)
Run, don't walk, to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/tyfa_talk/ and join it when they're ready. It's a wonderful parents-only group specifically for parents of Trans and gender-questioning kids who are 18 and under. There's a lot more to it than "you should support your kid". There's lots for you there, even though you're already supportive. On Facebook, check out these great groups for parents of Trans and gender-expansive kids: here and here. And here on Reddit, check out /r/cisparenttranskid.
Trans Youth Family Allies, Gender Spectrum (and their fantastic conference), and the Trans Health conference, among other resources, will help your whole family a lot.
The nice folks at the Gender Development clinic at Lurie Children's Hospital in Chicago, the Gender Management Services (GeMS) clinic at Boston Children's Hospital, The Center for Trans Youth Health and Development at Los Angeles Children's Hospital, the Genecis clinic at Children's Medical Center Dallas, the gender clinic at Seattle Children's Hospital, BC Children's Hospital in Vancouver, and/or the Trans youth clinic at SickKids in Toronto can help your family connect with more providers and support networks in your area for Trans children and their families, even if you're not near any of those clinics. They do a lot of networking with groups and providers across North America and around the world.
Hello Beautiful,
I know you don't think you are right now, but trust me; you are more amazing than you'll ever know! You will do things in this life that you can't even imagine yet. You will love so intensely, you'll be in pieces, you'll cry for good and for bad, you'll laugh so hard you'll have tears in your eyes. You'll see babies being born, and old friends and loved ones join the ancestors. But most importantly, you will eventually look back and smile. You will be so proud of yourself that your heart will swell up and you won't be able to contain yourself. It will be worth all the stress you're feeling right now about the transition and your body. How you want to look and present yourself to the world all takes time.
-Shevon Propst, from Letters For My Sisters
Wear this over or under the panties. I know it's expensive, but it works great for me. Even withstands erections, if you're not on HRT yet!
Also, your mom is great :)
Thanks ❤️😁 It's a dress from Amazon! I love it 😃

If you can spend a little cash, get some or all of these things for your hair quality and growth:
-MSM
-A multi-vitamin/supplement targeting hair
-Quality shampoo and conditioner
These are a few of the things I use and my hair and nails grow so fast I can't keep up. I paint my nails and like 3 days later they need to be repainted due to growth. :)
edit: oh yeah, and take Biotin. You dont need much since all the above things also include it.
Breast forms! You can get a decent pair on amazon for ~$50 in basically any size you want.
They'll fill out your bra, put weight on your chest, and even jiggle when you walk. They're the best <3
Here are the ones I bought and I LOVE them!

One thing I didn't notice at first that I hope won't become a problem, there's no hem on the bottom edge. Hopefully it won't start to fray or roll up!
