sure thing! here it is:

i know exactly what you mean! sorry for the formatting (mobile 😬)
here’s what worked for me:

peanut buttter mixture

1 cup confectioners sugar (sometimes it’s called powdered sugar)

1 cup peanut butter (i like to give it 15 seconds or so in the microwave just to soften it up)

2 Tbs of crushed graham crackers (you can also use similar plain cookies like nilla wafers or even cereal like cap’n crunch)

1/4 to 1/2 a stick of softened cannabutter (up to 113g)

chocolate coating

1 - 2 cups of semi sweet chocolate

how to assemble

melt half your chocolate

>by either using the double boiler method or placing it in a heat safe bowl and microwaving it in bursts of 15 seconds (you can go up to 30 seconds, but the extra time gradually heating the chocolate will make it much more stable and reduce the possibility of it burning)
here’s a video about it.

>>i like to add a tsp or so of distillate or cannabis infused oil into my chocolate before melting for a little added joy (this needs to be done right at the beginning before microwaving to avoid separation of the chocolate)

coat your tins with a tsp of your chocolate
>i used this pan,but you can use aluminum muffin cups too or whatever silicone mold you prefer.

>>make sure to coat the sides all the way up to the rim (try not to go over it or you’ll have a little chocolate tail!)
get in there and use your finger or a brush (if you fancy)

stick your chocolate shells in the freezer for 15 min and prepare your peanut butter filling.

>soften your peanut butter in the microwave (15 seconds) and give it a good mix.
add all other ingredients and mix well.

>>the consistency should be like playdough. you should be able to form loose balls.

here’s where you’re going to have to wing it (or, if you’re making these for patients, this is where you’ll whip out your kitchen scale to weigh precise peanut butter globs).

remove your chocolate shells from the freezer and add your peanut butter balls to the center.

> you’ll know your chocolate is set once you touch it lightly. if it’s hardened, you’re good to go! if not, don’t despair, give it a few more minutes in the freezer.

place chocolate shells filled with peanut butter back into the freezer for another 15 min.

melt the remainder of your chocolate

>pour the rest of your chocolate using a tsp over the top of your cups once they’re out of the freezer.

>>when they’re all covered, give them a very gentle shake (no tapping!). get those suckers back in the freezer for another 15 min.

pop them out of their molds and store for up to 2 weeks in the fridge.

you can wrap them in cool foil like these

I've only made canna caps a few times so I'm still tweaking things but here's what I've got so far.

Ingredients:

• 1oz bud - your choice of strain.

• 8oz (1 cup) coconut oil or butter. I prefer coconut oil.

• 1.5tb soy lecithin

Directions:

Pre-heat your oven to 215° F.

Chop up your herb finely.

You can grind it but I've found it's easier to strain if chopped.

Sprinkle evenly into a small oven safe dish.

Cover well with aluminum foil, crimping up around the edges.

Place in oven for 30-45 minutes.

After 30-45 minutes, remove the dish and let it cool, WITH the foil still on. Letting it cool down slowly, allows any vapors to settle back into the material (theoretically).

Note: for the extraction process I prefer a Nesco 6-Quart Roaster Oven. I prefer this over a crock pot because it has temp control.
I used this in combination with a Digital Cooking Thermometer which comes in handy not only for more accuracy but also because you can set an alarm on it if the temp gets too high - in which case you'd just add some water to the mixture.

While you wait for the container to cool, Melt your coconut oil or butter in a pan on low heat.

Once cool, remove the foil lid from the pan and place the decarbed herb into the roaster/crock pot.

Pour enough distilled water over the herb to float it, then add the oil or butter over your herb and stir it up.

Set the temperature between 200 and 220 Fahrenheit and let cook for 12-18 hours, stirring occasionally.
Note: this step is where that digital thermometer with temperature alarm comes in particularly useful. Set it and forget it.

After 12-18 hours turn off heat and and strain the oil from the herb using a stainless steel mesh strainer, pouring the extract into a class or ceramic dish.
Note: I prefer a steel strainer but it's possible to use cheesecloth. Coffee filters do not work. Also, I don't throw away the herb. I let it dry as much as possible, grind it finely and put it in capsules also.

Place dish in refrigerator over night or until the oil or butter has hardened.

Once solid, separate oil/butter from the water, discarding the water.

Place solid extract in an oven safe dish and heat at low temp until liquid.

Once liquid, add 1.5tb of soy lecithin to the extract and stir gently until homogenized.

You now have cannabis extract ready to be used for cooking or for filling capsules.

Here are some things that I used that may help you.

1,000 Herbal Oil Capsules - Size "00"

Size 00 Capsule Holding Tray

Soy Lecithin Powder - 1 Lb

Glass Eye Droppers

Hope this helps. Happy cooking :)

You can use pure coconut oil (which naturally contains mostly MCT oil), pure MCT oil from a health food or vitamin store, or a mixture of both if you'd like. In terms of potency and extraction effectiveness, pure MCT will work best.

It's generally recommended to decarb first to ensure that your final product is evenly decarbed and to allow using the oil in lower temperature recipes, which is preferred due to the volatility of many cannabinoids. I've also read that decarbed THC is more soluble, making it easier to extract from the plant matter which would lead to even better yields.

Stove top is ok if you can accurately measure the temperature of your oil. The oven is recommended because it can accurately hold an even temperature specifically set by the user (rather than guessing "somewhere around medium-lowish"). I believe it's only sealed to avoid from foreign material falling into the oil, since there is a fan running in standard convection ovens. If you must use a stove top I would recommend using a double boiler to buffer & diffuse heat.

MCT Oil on Amazon is considerably cheaper than purchasing locally if you don't mind the shipping time. Good luck!

Okay, so a while ago I said I was going to make a gummy bear tutorial and I never did so I thought it was about time I at least made a write up for them. This recipe will get you right around 200 gummy bears.

Tools:

  • Small non stick pot with a lid
  • medium non stick pot
  • 60ml Syringe - Here
  • stiff silicone spatula - Here
  • 2 small pyrex dishes - Here
  • Candy theremometer - Here
  • Fork to stir with
  • Gummy bear molds (or any other you like) - Here I also just found these
  • Measuring Cup
  • Measuring Spoon
  • Strainer - Here
  • Medium/large bowl
  • Partchment paper
  • A few large tupperware containers
  • Dram droppers for the flavorings - Here

    Ingredients:

  • 1 Package of Jello (85 grams if you have a scale) in the flavor of gummies you want
  • LorAnn oils concentrated flavorings - Here
  • LorAnns oils mold Inhibitor - Here
  • LorAnns oils Preserve-it Antioxidant - Here
  • 5 Tbsp plain gelatin powder - low quality / less chewie here High quality / more chewie here
  • 1 tsp of Soy lecthin powder - Here
  • 1/2 cup of Real Fruit juice of the flavor you want to make, get creative here, needs to be cold. Cold water can also be used but the flavor is not as good.
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • Glycerin - Here
  • 6 grams of Concentrates (AKA: BHO, Shatter, Wax, Oil, Hash oil, etc)
  • 1 Tbsp Coconut oil
  • Cornstartch

    Decarbing

Pre-heat your oven to 250F - 260F, use the digital theremometer to keep an eye on the temp to make sure it stays around there and does not get above 260F. I like to place my concentrates into the small pyrex dish and decarb in that. Put the dish with your concentrates in the oven for 30 minutes. You can check it around the 30 minute mark and see if it is fully decarbed. Look for it to be pretty clear of all little "carbination" like bubbles. When those are mostly gone you are done decarbing. It will take around 30 minutes. Go a little longer if you want couch lock / sleepy time gummies.

When it is done decarbing pull it out and set it to the side for a minute.

    Infusing the coconut oil

Grab your medium sized pot and put a few inches of water in it. get it to a boil then turn the temp all the way down to a very low heat. When the water is ready place your dish with the freshly decarbed oil into the water bath and add the 1 Tbsp of coconut oil to the dish.

Let the two mix for a few minutes until they are nicely combined. It shouldn't take long maybe 10 minutes max.

    Grease your molds

At this point if you dont have silicone molds (I do and I still grease mine for precautions) grease your molds so you don't forget to do it before adding your gummies.

    Preping fruit juice (or water)

In the second small pyrex dish pour your real fruit juice / water or whatever base liquid you are using for your gummies. I havent tried much besides fruit juice and water but you can experiment with other liquids, but don't do an experiment on a batch with THC in it just in case something doesn't work out.

To the fruit juice / water add 1 tsp of soy lecthin and stir with the fork. Place the dish in the fridge for 5 minutes or so and stir again. Let it sit in the fridge stirring occasionaly until the soy lecthin is fully desolved.

This liquid mixture NEEDS TO BE COLD for the blooming process to work so make sure to keep it cold.

    Mixing the dry ingredients

In your small non-stick pot mix the following together: 85 grams of Jello, 5 Tbsp of Gelatin, 1/4 cup of sugar. Completely mix them all together and dont let any of them get wet yet. Stir and stir until they are completely mixed.

    Blooming

Take your mixed dry ingredients and pour in your friut juice (water) soy lecthin mixture. Stir it and get everything evenly mixed and make sure there are no lumps. When everything is evenly mixed place the lid on the small pot and let it sit for 10 minutes.

This is called "blooming" the gelatin and allows the gelatin to absorbe the water. The water needs to be cold because gelatin activates at about 120F and after that will start to set when it cools. We don't want it setting right now.

I just make capsules. They are super discreet, super low waste of materials, and easy to regulate your dosage. Plus, I just can't smoke/vape without throwing up instantly.

  1. Buy a pack of mints. Consume said mints. Keep the container.

  2. Make your oil, but SAVE YOUR DECARBED BUD.

  3. Buy empty gelatin capsules. I've tried a few different ones, and as long as they're of decent quality (i.e. seal properly, don't have any holes, etc), they all work just fine. Here's what I bought a couple months ago, and will be set for a looooong time.

  4. Buy a couple syringes (without needles). I prefer ones that use an o-ring around the plunger to make a seal, as they don't get stuck as easily, but these will work just fine if you don't have anything.

Optional 5) Add a couple drops of peppermint essential oils to the mixture (I'll take the shit storm for mentioning those, but it really will cut down on the smell and taste a LOT.)

  5. Heat up your oil

  6. Fill your capsules. Put on a show, movie, or music in the background because this can take a little while. I can knock out 50 or so in 15-20 minutes, and that's not moving very fast, so you'll get it down. Protip: if you can, wash out the syringe(s) after filling. The minimal leftover coconut oil will harden up, and fuck up the syringe plunger. If you can't, store the syringe pieces pulled apart so they don't get stuck together.

  • 7a)Here's where you can use that decarbed bud. Get a teeny tiny spoon (or use the handle of one of those syringes), and pack that shit into those empty pills. They should be a different strength than your oil, so make sure to test a couple first, and probably keep them separate. But decarbed bud does still have your thc/cbd in it to get you high. I promise.

  1. Store your medicine pills in that mint container.

  2. Dose as needed

    [10] fin.

Edit: spelling. Hope you find what you need!

I had posted this recipe in a thread here a little while back and am pretty happy with them:

I’ve been making no bake bars that are really easy and pretty tasty:

1 oz herb, decarb for 25 minutes at 250 F
Move into double boiler with 2 cups clarified butter, you can also use coconut oil.

Simmer in the butter for 2 hrs, strain and press the bud to squeeze out all of the butter, discard the bud.

To the melted herb butter add:

400 grams honey

350 grams smooth peanut or almond butter

5-10 grams lecithin (optional)

Let that melt and mix together over a double boiler then add:

6 cups oat flour

5 Tbps raw cacao powder

1 Tbps salt

Pinch cayenne pepper (optional)

You may need to add a little more oat flour if it’s wet, up to an additional cup.

Mix together well and let sit 20 minutes before moving into molds (I use these)or a brownie pan. Refrigerate until solid and enjoy :)

They freeze well and can be eaten straight from the freezer due to the high fat content.

I was unaware that the water might cause mold. I know that I do sometimes need it for the butter though, as it helps thin out the mix, which allows it to stir better.

If I do a 6C butter to 8Oz flower, it tends to get too thick to properly stir and I'm too lazy to grind everything into a fine powder beforehand. It's not as necessary with coconut oil though, as it seems to thin out better once it's heated. I've read both ways on the subject and for me the main reason is to help thin it.

I took a look at those presses and I like them. However, I also have a fruit press that will squeeze everything out pretty well.

The nut bags have been 'my' game changer. The ones I use will take on fairly warm oil and you can close them at the top. This allows me to squeeze as much out, then give it a shake to rearrange the stuff and then squeeze again. Plus you can hang it for a while longer to allow gravity to help out as well.

My advice would be:

  1. Really the only thing that would help with potency would be to add some lecithin.

Which would not actually increase potency, but makes it bioavailable and able to pass through cell membrane. So, with lecithin, it will hit you faster and you body will be able to process more of the cannabanoids because it's not having to be processed through any organs (i.e. liver).

As far as the quantity of lecithin goes, I have never been able to get a concrete answer, with data to back it up, about the ratio of lecithin to hash oil.

But I will say that I have seen 2 different medical marijuana processing lab's recipes for tincture calling for almost a 1:1 ratio (one called for 1200g lecithin to 1400g hash oil). I've read a few reputable forum's that state the close to 1:1 ratio for hash oil to lecithin as well.

All that being said the lecithin is almost certainly (as in every type I've tried) going to effect the color, consistency and taste of the final product.

My advice on lecithin would be once you have evaporated as much ethonal off as you want, to add as much lecithin as you feel comfortable with. Even a little bit is going to help and you can't really put to much in (unless you are putting more lecithin than the rest of the tincture by weight, which would be noticeably a lot).

2.Do not strain it. The main reason anyone strains edibles is to remove the plant matter. Which if using bho there should be none.

  2. Once it has been decarbed it is (almost >90%) entirely active cannabanoids. So letting it sit is going to make a negligible difference.

    Last 3 tips.

  3. I add a little bit of honey to give it a more tolerable taste.

  4. Use low heat to homogenize the mixture, after adding lecithin, or just add the lecithin and stir while it's warm.

  5. Adding the lecithin is going to either increase the portion size or decrease the potency per volume.
This is simply because the added lecithin will increase the overall volume.
So a 10ml serving of tincture without lecithin has more room for cannabanoids than a 10ml serving of tincture with lecithin.

TLDR; adding lecithin (up to an almost 1:1 ratio) will help the tincture hit you faster and prevent your liver and digestive system from destroying precious cannabanoids, No need to strain it, and no need to let it sit once it has been decarbed.

PM me if you need any clarification, but the process you have laid out will certainly work.

Edit: looks like amazon no longer sells the lecithin I use (Piping Rock liquid sunflower lecithin).
But here is a good alternate.

I advise getting it from an online retailer, since it is hard to find anywhere, but potentially health food stores.

My suggestion is to stick with liquid lecithin as opposed to granules and to get sunflower as opposed to soy lecithin.

A lot of people have negative reactions to soy based lecithin, this is likely due to them being made from GMO soy beans which are known for causing stomach discomfort of varying degrees.

I JUST GOT A WONDERFUL IDEA! Okay, so coconut oil works so well mainly because it has so many medium chain tryglycerides, but I believe it is only 60%. You can buy MCT oil on Amazon

http://www.amazon.com/NOW-Foods-100%25-32-Fluid-Ounces/dp/B0019LRY8A/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1367695371&sr=8-1&keywords=mct+oil

If you put this MCT oil (which is a liquid and is perfect for extracting THC) in a bottle, and add the ground ganja and leave it for cold extraction for maybe three days, it should work extremely well! I just don't know if you can cook with this MCT oil. If it does work, it would be the absolute most effective oil to make edibles with!

u/spacetreefrog · 6 pointsr/treedibles

Recipe:

•1fl oz infused coconut oil Calculator for dosing

•2fl oz water (or juice is what I use)

•like an 1/8th tsp of sunflower lecithin

•2x Knox gelatin envelopes (1.8g ea iirc)

•3oz (small box) Jello brand whatever flavor

Tartaric acid (manufactured Citric acid is low key poison FYI)

•organic raw sugar

Directions:

Put infused oil and water in like a small candy pot and stir till they’re mixed up very well (try to keep as cool as possibly without the coconut oil hardening). Mix in the Knox gelatin thoroughly, then add the jello box and do the same. Next you just let it sit for 10-15mins for sugar to bloom or some shit, should be like thicc applesauce .

I like to go low and slow, I have a little copper pot that holds heat well so I want to gradually build up the heat till I get to my desired temps (I’ll us IR gun or candy thermometer next time to be more accurate).

On my stove I start at 2 on the dial and continuously stir with a little whisk for maybe 5-8 mins till it looks like it’s starting to melt down. Turn it up to 3-4 on the dial while still stirring continuously, another 8-10mins till it’s all melted down, it’ll get clear and get more syrupy if you let it drop off the whisks. Usually once I see a little vapor or if I stop stirring it bubbles at all I pull it from heat and keep stirring.

Switch the dial to LOW (want to keep pot pretty warm to keep goop from solidifying) and start filling the molds with a dropper that came with the molds. I usually have a helper because I have zero patience. One stirring, one filling molds. Makes the process a lot easier. i usually get 100-110 gummy bears. If you end up with more you didn’t cook it long or hot enough and they’ll likely sweat/weep.

Next I put them in the freezer for 30mins to an hour depending what all I have going on.

I have a cooling rack that I pop the gummy bears out on straight from the freezer, air dry (my ceiling air vent hits the counter just right to speed this along).

Toss the bears in a Tupperware with whatever coating suits your taste, Mine is usually around 1-1.5 tsp of tartaric acid and 1-2 cups of sugar mixed in (I’ll use this to coat a few hundred before I tweak it at all). Shake vigorously and make sure all get evenly coated. Toss bears in a sifter to clean up and back on the cooling rack for 15-30mins. Double coat if needed.

Should be find under 78-80°f ambient air, no sun. Store in fridge just to be safe til used.

Thanks! I love them so much. Here are the molds I got, which are almost the perfect size for one batch, I always have some left over to make a few more with another mold I have. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0744DG9JJ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

VG is Vegetable Glycerine. It helps incorporate the reduced tincture aka FECO aka Full Extract Cannabis Oil into the gummy juice. And yes I have an electric burner just for evaporating tincture and decarbing wax. I used to use a glass Pyrex for that until one exploded on me the other day so now I use a metal pan. Good luck! It takes a few tries to get it down but I've never completely ruined a batch (except for when my Pyrex exploded). https://imgur.com/a/NUYEH

Thanks, the capsules I buy from Trulieve unusually leak in my pill pocket. That's whether I keep the pill pocket in my pants, computer bag or vehicle.
The summer is fast approaching, temperatures are only rising from here until September-October.
That's why I'm looking into a drier capsule.
So far it sounds plausible that cornstarch will work as a thickening agent that will also make it easier to work with.
So now I'm thinking about using Lecethin instead of corn starch to improve the bioavailability.
Then taking (2) omega 3 pills at 1,500 mg each. That'll be 3 grams of oil for each capsule (maybe one omega 3 pill is enough).
I really don't know what I'm doing here. I had some great folks in the FL medical trees group that pointed me towards the cornstarch idea.

I should have my pill filing station tomorrow and maybe this weekend I'll make time for this project.

The other thing someone mentioned in that group was using wax, parchment or silicone and dropping a small dollup of concentrate every inch or so and freezing it. Then immediately transferring into a capsule after removing from the freezer.

Add some coco butter, Lecethin and a small amount of concentrate that's rolled or filled with either Lecethin, cornstarch or (most likely) I'll mix the Lecethin and cornstarch in some ratio.

Hoping for a stable capsule that won't leak in 95 degree heat. 4-6 hours is all is need it to last out of the fridge.

The capsules I bought are:

I followed this recipe to a T, except the temps. I've found decarbing is more effective and efficient @ 240F for 45 minutes, and kept the oil at 200F. This resulted in a very effective product.

For straining, I've found nut milk bags (like this) work much better and cleaner than cheese cloth.

I just did two test batches using these ($8.99 on Amazon). It's three molds with 53 bears each. Each bear is 1/2 teaspoon, so the total volume for all three molds is 1.66 cups. That's your available volume for both the liquid and the gelatin, so you have to account for both. The gummy recipe that seems to work best is 3/4 cup water plus 2 tablespoons of tincture, and then one 3.75 ounce flavored Jello packet and two .25 ounce unflavored gelatin packets.

The bears turn out looking really great, lots of definition.

Currently making gummy bears. Here is my method:

Decarb the flower

  • Preheat oven to 250 F
  • Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper
  • Place 1/8 oz flower on parchment paper
  • Cook for 30 minutes
  • Remove from oven and reduce temp to 200 F

    Infuse oil

  • Remove flower from cookie sheet and place into a small oven safe container
  • Grind up the flower using the back of a spoon or a pestle
  • Add 1/4 C (~30g) coconut oil
  • Add 1 tsp soy lecithin
  • Place into the oven and cook for 2-3 hours

    Make gummy bears

  • Strain oil and reserve. Dump or re-use the spent flower.
  • Follow this recipe for copy-cat Haribo Bears and add the infused oil at the end: https://topsecretrecipes.com/foodhackerblog/haribo-gold-bears-gummy-candy/
  • You might need to use an immersion blender to get everything to bind together.
  • Please final product into molds. You should get ~50+ if using the molds linked below.

    Pro Tips:

  • I use these molds: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LZXF9HE/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  • Use plastic squeeze bottles to add gelatin mixture to the molds
  • Soy lecithin will help the oil / water / gelatin bind
  • If you have a toaster oven, take it outside for all the cooking. (If you are in a legal state/country with cool neighbors)
  • I assume there will be a 40% loss during the THC conversion. If starting with flower in the 20% THC range, a 4 gram gummy should have at least 6mg THC and up to 11mg if you get 100% extraction.
  • Recipe can be scaled up linearly

    Enjoy!

You should really invest in a slow cooker. They can be extremely cheap! This one on Amazon is only $9 before shipping. https://www.amazon.com/Maxi-Matic-MST-250XW-Cuisine-2-Quart-Round-Shaped/dp/B0006A2ZR0/ref=sr_1_4?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1537481461&sr=1-4&keywords=slow+cooker

You can also get cheap ones at any Walmart or Target.

I put my weed into the slow cooker, put the butter in, cover it all with water. Cook on high until it bubbles, then turn to low until I go to sleep, then keep on warm all night.

Throughout the process I stir every hour or so, except overnight. I'll stir in the morning.

In the morning I unplug the slow cooker and let it cool off. In an hour or two I line a tupperware container with several layers of cheesecloth. I ladle the mixture into the tupperware first; then when the ladle scrapes the bottom, I pour the rest from the slow cooker into the container, put the slow cooker crock into the sink.

Carefully I pick up all four corners of the cheesecloth and lift it and the plant material out of the container. I use an all-temperature silicone oven glove on my right hand to squeeze every last drop of oil and water out of the cheesecloth, then discard the cheesecloth.

I cover the tupperware and put it in the fridge for several hours.

The green butter separates to the top and solidifies. Water gets thrown out.

Later I break up the butter and re-melt it on the stove, and funnel it into pretty glass jars to put in the fridge. If I don't put the butter into jars, it stays in the freezer so it doesn't develop mold in the fridge over time.

When I cook oil, it's about 8 or 9 parts oil to 1 or 2 parts water-- never beyond 20% of the whole mass cooking. You just want a layer on top to take the crap you cook out away. And yes, you need to strain it well. I use this thing that I got almost exactly two years ago. One of the finer purchases I've made in life, too.

If I were you, I'd cook the whole mass up again and let it boil off some of the water, then strain it for reals and try to let it set again. The process is really easy, once you get it down. Just a little messy, but worth it-- and how else can you lick a nap off of your hands? :)

u/newstig · 2 pointsr/treedibles

One time what I did was to wrap it just like you mentioned, and then used a turkey baking bag like this. My rationale was that if you can cook a turkey, why not other things. Just make sure to let it cool down and open it in, let's say, a closet.

What soy lecithin do you use OH? I know you're one of the best cooks around so I thought I would ask you, would this be fine?

Get a silicone bench scraper like this-

https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CSBATQ8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1

dump gummy mix over the molds, scrape the top with the scraper as you go. Overlap the edges of silicone molds, and you can scrape excess from one mold to another. It really just takes seconds to do all of them.

Sorry for the late response man, I meant to link everything I used. So the gelcaps have been fine carrying them in my pocket in a pill bottle (small amounts, maybe 5-6) during 90deg heat for a couple of hours. I really just have the majority of them stored inside in a sealed container in a dark place and they might leak a very very small amount that is negligible. Hope that helps, below is the link to the caps I used.

It allows the THC to bind to the butter or oils better. Most professional bakers are using it now a days.. here's the exact one that I always use; https://www.amazon.com/Foods-Sunflower-Liquid-Lecithin-Ounce/dp/B00J8ET8IO/ref=sr_1_5_s_it?s=hpc&ie=UTF8&qid=1483742907&sr=1-5&keywords=sunflower+lecithin
theres alot of other kinds out there too. Just make sure you grab the liquid bottle and not the gel capsule pills, which I have mistakenly bought a few times lol..

So you know how to make cannabutter?

Swallow pills with drink of choice.
Keep in fridge because you used butter. If you ever branch out to Tincture or Coconut oil, you can keep at room temp.

This stuff is something you add to increase the shelf life of food. I use it in brownies too, it keeps them from spoiling too fast.

I was planning to use that recipe, but use these gummy molds from amazon that are smaller than the ones used in the recipe so I figured I’ll be able to make ~200 gummies

Coconut. Use as little oil as possible (refined if you can find it), just enough to completely soak the kief. Then get one of these https://www.amazon.com/Pro-Quality-Nut-Milk-Bag/dp/B00KLT6X9W. Strain it while it’s hot enough to almost burn your hands, wearing nylon dish gloves makes it less painful. And squeeze the ever loving fuck out of it to get every last drop.

Another option would be to make some qwet hash, and then just decarb and mix it with the coco oil, no straining necessary and this allows you to use a very minimal amount of coconut oil, making the end product potent as fuck. With that method i squeeze 50,000 mg of thc into a less than a pint of oil regularly.
