47. Hairgenics Propidren Hair Growth Shampoo for Thinning and Balding Hair with Biotin, Keratin, and Powerful DHT Blockers to Prevent Hair Loss, Nourish and Stimulate Hair Follicles and Help Regrow Hair.

    Features:
  • Clinical studies on hair loss have shown that the number one factor in hair loss is the production of dihydrotestosterone or DHT. Our revolutionary hair loss shampoo contains clinically proven DHT blockers that work synergistically to stop hair loss and help regrow and thicken hair. Works for both men and women!
  • Propidren Shampoo contains Saw Palmetto and other powerful DHT blockers that help prevent DHT production - Saw Palmetto is essential to blocking 5-alpha-reductase, an enzyme that converts testosterone to DHT. DHT is a molecule inside of your body that's responsible for hair loss, so prohibiting the production of this hormone is key to preventing hair loss. The topical application of Saw Palmetto is clinically proven to help stop hair loss and to induce hair regrowth.
  • Our hair loss shampoo nourishes hair with vitamins and proteins, and it contains Biotin to help strengthen weak and brittle hair - Biotin is a B Vitamin that produces keratin, increases hair elasticity (minimizing breakage), and wraps your hair in a protective layer to prevent it from becoming brittle and weak. Biotin helps to induce growth of both your hair and new skin cells, making them healthy and vibrant.
  • For the best results, use for at least 3 months with Pronexa Hair Loss Pills, Serum and Conditioner to stop hair loss, thicken hair, and see significant hair growth. 100% money back guarantee! The only thing that works for a long term for me is the L'emarie Shampoo https://www.amazon.com/Lemarie-Intensive-Growth-Shampoo-Ounce/dp/B00C01C43S/ref=sr_1_104_s_it?s=beauty&ie=UTF8&qid=1483708715&sr=1-104&keywords=dandruff+shampoo.

Not only for keeping your scalp clean of dandruff but for a healthy scalp and hair.
This shampoo has 1% Ketoconazole and in top of that it has other ingredients that are well know to help with scalp problems like Pyrithione Zinc, Caffeine , Salicylic Acid , Allatoin and a bunch of essential oils and extracts. It also has one ingredient that is new to the market call Pisum Sativum (Pea) Peptide. this one ingredient helps with keeping your hair growing healthy.

There's a couple things to consider.

  1. Are you conditioning? If not, do so every time you shower even if you don't shampoo.
  2. Minoxidil will help the appearance of the hair you have as long as the fin is doing its job.
  3. If you're not already, tailor your dietary needs to your hair. Take lots of B12, biotin, and Omega 3s. Make sure your thyroid and vitamin D levels are normal. Also try activated silicon, it's a little pricey on its own but certain collagen boosting formulas in pill form are cheaper and more convenient. I take this daily and it improves my hair and nails significantly.
  4. I can't personally vouch for this but I have heard castor oil applied to the scalp 1 hour before showering thickens hair's appearance and helps with dandruff.

DMSO is a really tricky one. There's a ton of guys selling it as "natural" and "pure" but basically they're buying industrial drums of the stuff an packaging it down in to smaller bottles for profit. From what I understand that Nature's Gift (the one with the tree) does this and they never list the source and/processing. Given that DMSO has to be handled incredibly carefully, you have to be really careful where you get it from. This one seems to get good reviews, although it is expensive. For our uses (which are tiny amounts), I don't see the price being an issue:

Yeah, we all get those. You have to make those grow naturally as you can, while still using fin and min.

Take care of your hair as if you had long hair, first of all. Make sure your scalp is clean and free of debris.

Rinse your scalp at least twice a day, once with a shampoo to remove any oil, dirt, dust, etc.

As far as supplements, I'm on the fence on this one. I like green-tea, but I also use biotin, and a multi-vitamin. I supplement extra vitamin d and take large doses of vitamin c as well.

There are supplements that claim to thicken hair, but I'm not too sure on those. You can research these on Amazon.

I used to use this, not sure if it works as I'm on fin now, but when I used it, I wasn't on fin.

These supplements are just nutritional aids that will thicken hair, but I'm not sure if they will work on the small short hairs that we want to grow.

I use this pomade on occasion. Swell scent and a mild hold. Also free of funky chemicals! :D

If you’d like something with a bit more hold though, I’d recommend Aveda’s styling paste. Does a respectable job holding things in place. =)

u/PurpleKevinHayes · 2 pointsr/tressless

I can't recommend a good shampoo enough. Get a biotin shampoo, also the Propidren brand is really good too. Will keep your hair nice and thick. Good luck.

Edit: Link to the shampoo

And another cheaper alternative

Be sure to get a corresponding conditioner as well

u/Tress999 · 2 pointsr/tressless

It doesnt affect the pillow at all actually. This is the one I use, it's awesome.

https://www.amazon.com/OGX-Renewing-Penetrating-Sustainable-Ingredients/dp/B005DYJZ7M

I just put it in my hair while wet before bed (just pour on your hands and rub your hands through your wet hair, I also comb/brush my hair back after), and when I wake up my hair is proper thick. Then in the morning i wash it normally and blow dry and its epic.

I actually bought it to try make my hair shiny and improve the look of it but it added so much volume as well.

You cam also achieve decent results just with a good conditioner, just keep it in your hair for long, stay in the shower longer than normal. Then blow dry afterwards. But the oil for sure adds a next level to it.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Taft-Schwarzkopf-INSTANT-HAIR-POWDER/dp/B00J05ZOPC

this shit is truly amazing. i have pretty thin hair and i've had multiple people comment on my hair saying how thick it was (this put a smile on my face for days)

its pretty cheap, you should be able to get it in any pharmacy. i know you can buy it in dm's around europe and im sure you can get it at boots. just search around or buy online.

i blowdry my hair, (it works fine without blowdrying) apply a very small amount of wax (just so it has a tiny bit of hold) and then apply the powder all over my hair in small amounts, i then toss my hair and style it, and re apply the powder until i have the desired hold and look. it makes your hair kind of... stiff? a weird dry feeling but it washes out easily. itll also last the next day even after sleeping

The only one I found was this

http://www.ebay.ca/itm/ANTI-HAIR-LOSS-SERUM-with-PROCAPIL-and-BIOCAPIGEN-100-ml-GEROVITAL-PLANT-/281344568894

I ordered it yesterday,

there is also another from amazon

http://www.amazon.com/Rolland-Una-Oxygenating-Treatment-3-17oz/dp/B0055DUBMY/ref=pd_sbs_bt_1?ie=UTF8&refRID=18DQ41J97ES4G2KPQZQV

None of them are mainstream products, but I just want to shed some light on propcapil, which is made of Biotinyl-Tripeptide1, Oleanolic acid, Apigenin

There is also provia, but its damn expensive.

I'm sure there are other ones from out of country, but I want to find a trustworthy brand to purchase from. I dont mind sparing 10 bux to buy the Gerivotal brand one, so I decided to give it a try anyway. It's made of good stuff so it doesn't hurt to try. It's also a topical.

u/granmasutensil · 1 pointr/tressless

No they don't cause breakouts and will actually improve your skin. It's good to not take D3 and K2 at the same time they compete for absorption and half the K2 will get wasted so take at different times. Any brand but you can get that stuff super cheap on swanson. They have 20-25% off sales all the time on their brand too you might need to sign up for emails to see it or get the code don't know. The only thing that they don't have there is a good K2 the MK-4 K2 which I get on amazon.

Not hair loss specifically in the sense of stopping my hairline receeding but it's definitely improved my hair colour/density and quality. My skin in the surrounding areas is noticeably improved too. However it will definitely improve anxiety, ADHD symptoms etc. All of which are stress in some form which is linked to hair loss. I use the following:

Well when I dermapen my scalp I also dermapen my face, it's suppose to be good for your skin as well. Then I just apply this Vitamin C serum I found on a YouTube beauty channel.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N56RTNQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Although any serum of your choice would be fine.

Joe Grooming Compound

It has a pomade texture that you can work into your hands a lot for a dry, matte finish. If you want more of a spiky, shine look, don't rub it in your hands as much before applying. It's also water-based and washes out easy, yet provides a strong hold. I've tried Gatsby wax, Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Shaping Cream, and Aveda PureFormance clay. Joe Grooming Compound is far and away the best for thinning, medium-to-short hair.

Melatonin can be found @$2.35/gram [here] (http://www.powdercity.com/products/melatonin-powder). Caffeine [here] (http://www.powdercity.com/products/caffeine-anhydrous-powder). You only need a few mg's / 60 ml minox ;-)

Some of the other chemicals mentioned can be a bit harder to find. These dissolve really well in the minox solution however after adding a bit of extra ethanol. As far as the morning topical is concerned, everything dissolves in the minox solution. The evening topical contains several oils and fatty acids, I had to add some of my own glycol and ethanol to get a clear(ish) solution. Amentoflavone (st johns worth, gingko), rosemary oil, SP from iHerb. You also really need [one of these] (http://www.amazon.com/American-Weigh-GEMINI-20-Portable-MilliGram/dp/B0012TDNAM/) btw.

https://www.amazon.com/Regenepure-Shampoo-Treatment-Supports-Growth/dp/B0032FSDOA

I think that's a better (less harsh/drying) ketoconazole shampoo than Nizoral. I use it every other day as well as Minox twice a day and don't have any issues. I also use the Regenepure Nourishing Treatment Shampoo (https://www.amazon.com/Regenepure-Nourishing-Treatment-Thickening-Strengthening/dp/B0032FQSZG/) which helps hair from being dried out, and also has ingredients that are more gentle on hair/scalp than typical shampoos.

u/highhill · 2 pointsr/tressless

I think either is fine. I started with the 36.

I would just start on slowest speed and "stamp" each spot (press quickly don't let it sit) and move on. I wouldn't start dragging across the skin. It's most important to be conservative and get used to it.

There are a lot of people on here who say it shouldn't bleed, but I'm in the bleeding is good camp. Obviously you don't want to force a bleed by turning your scalp into hamburger or scraping it to the point of scabbing.

I also use the 1.5mm depth.

You may also want to consider using lidocaine as the scalp can be pretty sensitive. See:

u/refuse2loseit · 1 pointr/tressless

Its a temporary effect, but it really does help if you have thin hair. Its not going to do anything permanent.

I also use a "volumizing powder" that makes it even more thick. You'd be surprised how well the products work. http://www.amazon.com/Sexy-Hair-Powder-Volumizing-Texturizing/dp/B00390DN34/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1418952633&sr=8-1&keywords=volumizing+powder&pebp=1418952633498
