This is exactly what you are NOT looking for but I'll say it anyway... just to hear myself talk:

I just bought a Whetstone from amazon and am amazed how easy it is with the right equipment. I was using a diamond stone and gave up. This was cheap and I get a perfect edge in minutes. The edge lasts longer than using the diamond. Don't forget to use a steel everytime you use the knife anyway.

Thanks for sharing this!

In a similar vein, this book talks specifically about the Republican plan to control all state legislatures through systematic redistricting starting in 2008. They've been immensely successful in their plan, called REDMAP. (yes - REDMAP - Redistricting Majority Project)

The Amazon excerpts of the introduction give a good sense of the book, then a state by state breakdown of their actions starting in 2008. Wake County libraries have this book - I'd recommend it.

Exercise and sunlight can work wonders! (And Vitamin D if you can't get outside.)

OP, you may want to check out 'The Mood Cure' by Julia Ross. Excellent advice regarding neurotransmitter imbalances and how these can be corrected through diet and simple amino acid supplements. Sometimes it really is just about chemistry.

Good luck!

I highly recommend the Sauder line, which I got through Amazon:

dresser

Assembly was pretty easy and it is good quality.

Most furniture in the store is shipped in crates and assembled there. The difference is who builds it.

The only way I know to do an external GPU is through a thunderbolt 3 connector which I have not yet seen built in to a desktop motherboard. You would need something like this to get the thunderbolt 3 port and then something like this to plug into it. I assume you have a full ATX motherboard and not a micro ATX. A case like this one would probably be a good option and keep your GPU internal. Cases that size always have some restrictions though like GPU height and CPU cooler height.

I was pretty interested when I heard about them but they're ludicrously expensive. I mean, I'm sure the stuff is high quality but they're selling it for like 70-80% of the new price. If you're going to pay that, you might as well just buy it new.

Basically they're doing the Kohls brand of marketing and claiming furniture is worth way more than it is. Look, first item in the chairs department-

moveloot price +free local delivery

amazon price for the same item with free delivery anywhere in the US

The amazon new price is beating the moveloot used price by ten bucks.

Maybe once they start moving more volume prices will drop.

This is the one I bought. It's my first one, but it has great quality video. I was nervous when I bought it because it comes from China and takes about a week to ship. But the quality is great and I've been using it for a year without any issues.

I agree completely with /u/the87boy. I got a cheap dashcam from Amazon that has cameras pointed out the front and rear. It's great having that extra bit of assurance should something happen, and it even keeps my own driving in check. Here is the one I have - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BTVTA0U/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

This is not something with me and my friends- I doubt I will know more than 10 people there. We are not protesting the NYPD, we are protesting how police are used in this country.

My first introduction was through this book http://www.amazon.com/Lockdown-America-Police-Prisons-Crisis/dp/1844672492
I figure it's still a good start and talks about the police here in NC too. For a better understanding of social movements and strategy I would check out http://www.amazon.com/Ive-Got-Light-Freedom-Mississippi/dp/0520251768/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1417723926&sr=1-1&keywords=I%27ve+got+the+light+of+freedom.

It seems like you don't care if protest is effective, you just don't want to have to deal with it?

Seconding Fred's Beds, I got mine from there and it was good.

Alternatively, a friend got this mattress (http://www.amazon.com/Sleep-Innovations-SureTemp-Mattress-Warranty/dp/B003CT37L0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1367893010&sr=8-1&keywords=foam+mattress) from amazon and she really likes it. I think it's weird to buy a mattress before trying it, but her argument was 5 minutes of sitting on a mattress in the store vs hundreds of amazon reviews may give the amazon reviews an advantage over a quick judgement in a store. So maybe try online too?

I went to Best Buy about 10 years ago, and bo9ught every blender they had, and had a test of which could crush ice. Then I brought back all the others. :)

Right now, I would get this one.

I'd recommend getting a bellows duster for diatomaceous earth. You don't want to breath it in and it is very hard to clean up off of rough surfaces like brick.

I'm in South Durham and have [this one.] (http://www.amazon.com/Winegard-FlatWave-FL5500A-Amplified-Ultra-Thin/dp/B00BN5Z2WM) It's mounted in my garage and I get all the big network local channels perfectly. It works' in my house to, only reason I have it in the garage is because I have a cable splitter there that goes to all the outlets in the house.

If you have a Costco membership it's way cheaper there than on Amazon.

u/randiesel · 2 pointsr/triangle

Basically, he's saying to buy some ethernet testers ( http://www.amazon.com/HDE-HDE-H11-Network-Cable-Tester/dp/B000P1OA1O/ref=pd_cp_pc_0 ) and plug one end into the wall in one room, and go around the house testing all the other outlets to see where that outlet is connected. If you're never able to get a connection from one port to another, you likely have a cable problem and would need to have it re-run. Otherwise, you may have great cabling but just need to know how it's laid out.

As far as the coax, it appears to be possible, based on a quick google search, but looks like it might be a bit of work.
