  • The Micca ON3 is a great looking and sounding pair of powered bookshelf speakers that can be used in any room in your home or office. Its compact size makes it suitable for use with your computer or TV, or for playing music from a smartphone in the kitchen.
  • Equipped with front and rear input jacks and a convenient remote control, the ON3 is both versatile and easy to use. Its full and rich sound signature is a good match for all music types, from modern pop songs to classic vinyl records.
  • Using a single driver in a speaker design has the benefit of being naturally coherent, eliminating the problem of acoustic lobing, time alignment, as well as potential phase problems caused by crossover circuits. The result is that music sounds more natural and true to life.
  • The ON3 has a 24W x 2 amplifier built in, with front and rear input jacks to allow connection with any analog audio source. The amplifier is enhanced with DSP processing circuitry that works together with the driver and ported enclosure to deliver rich and full sound from 50Hz to 20kHz.

I recommend visiting a local nursery and ask them for advice! They will know what grows best in your area, and they'll be able to help you get your soil ready. Congratulations! This is the first book that I read when I first started growing food: Postage Stamp Garden Book

Second to MIGradener, especially if you're in zone 6 or thereabouts.

I also really like Epic Gardening. He does a daily podcast and has a great website with short posts that are specific and easy to digest.

The book "How to Grow More Vegetables" is an awesome resource that outlines an entire system for maximizing small growing spaces. It can feel like a lot if you think about implementing the whole system, but if you read it with the idea of just understanding some basic gardening principles, it is a great book to have.

>Really, I want mini donkeys more than anything but fear we don't have quite enough space.

If you were only getting the donkeys, and were willing to devote the whole property to them, I'd say you had enough space, but with everything else you want to do, I think you would end up having to confine the donkey to a smaller area than would be good for them. Goats don't need as much space, but they are going to be hard to contain.

And don't try to do too much at once. I started with bees, and I'm really glad I didn't try to do chickens at the same time. It would have been too much to manage. I've now had the chickens for over a year, and I finally have a good system down, so I think I will be able to add something new next year.

Get a copy of Gaia's Garden and Square Foot Gardening. That will be enough to get you started.
