Awesome! I've had my pax over a year and I'm still loving it. It still hits like a champ and the cleaning is to me easier than its made out to be. The stealthiness of it amazing. I've told a bouncer its a portable battery or an ecig and gotten no questions. Just a heads up the very first time cooking a fresh bowl definitely smells like weed. All vaping smells some, but that first heating and first few hits are by far the strongest. After that is gets much less pungent. If I'm packing it at home before going to a venue I'm nervous about, I'll take the first 2-3 hits at home. Out of a full oven I can get 3-6 good sessions with stirring, depending on the weed and people.

Here's a couple tips I've picked up.

Be careful of the mouthpiece spring. It's deceptively strong and will launch your mouthpiece to dark places. Also, when pushing down the mouthpiece to lock it, the "sweet spot" is juuuuust before all the way down. It's hard to explain. But you can actually push the mouthpiece down too far and it won't always lock. My first time using it I was pissed because it wasn't locking. But I was pushing it too hard and past the lock point. Pushing it down lighter was the answer.

Dental brushes dipped in alcohol work great for scrubbing out the oven and mouthpiece and can be purchased at any store/pharmacy. The lube is food grade propylene glycol and can be purchased at certain stores or online for cheap. Such as http://www.amazon.com/Propylene-Glycol-Pint-Free-Shipping/dp/B005F5KYM4/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1418272765&sr=8-3&keywords=propylene+glycol.
Rub a few drops on/inside the mouthpiece tube every time you clean it to keep it from sticking.

When you're cleaning it be careful of getting the temp change button wet. If it gets wet, it will think it's on and the oven will start heating. That sucks if you are cleaning it and don't notice.

I've found its better to Charge the pax right side up with the charger on top. It helps makes sure that no resin leaks up the tube and is more stable.

If you rotate it on its long axis (doing a barrel roll) 3 times, it enters party mode and the front light flashes. This means it won't stop heating if it's kept still. Normally if it's kept still for a few seconds it goes "idle" and stops heating. The flashing light also looks pretty cool. You can also play Simon says against your pax by turning it on its long axis 7 times I think. YouTube has a good pax Simon says video with the steps. Both tricks are great when showing your pax to friends.

The EQ is great, but the bags have no mouthpiece (you have to pinch a tube shut and hold it shut, or use a clip or jame osmething in the tube like a pencil eraser), so get a camelback bite valve for them, it goes on the end of the tube and only releases vapor when bit on pinched. I think people pinch it lightly and bring it up to their lips. This is the one, AFAIK:

https://smile.amazon.com/Camelbak-Big-Bite-Valve-Blue/dp/B0019DCVTA/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1486214834&sr=8-3&keywords=camelbak+bite

Use elbow pack method (google or search the sub) to increase vapor production, and for replacement bags use turkey oven food safe bags. Search the sub reddit for the vape name, for more tips :). It's not as easy to load or clean as the Volcano, but it's not tough; the parts you'll be cleaning are glass, so some brushes and isopropyl alcohol are all you need. Extra glass parts (bowls) are easily available and cheap.

Strictly speaking the volcano classic with easy valve will meet your needs best though; it has a great bag and mouthpiece system and is easy to keep clean. You can find them used for $2-400. Extra cartridges for the volcano have to be bought with the bags and are about $100 (easy or solid valve kits), unless you can find them used.

well my Arizer extreme Q is pretty stinky.

I don't know about other log Vapes, but like I said they kind of exceed that price

personally I like the xmax pro V2 (it's not in the video, but it's exactly like a boundless CF with an external battery), and get a smoke buddy to exhale through. you could do that while you're living there, and then when you move out get a bong; get the WPA and use it with bong it's way better

you want a smell proof case (edit as a note the case I have is just a pencil case not smell proof; it's the perfect size if I want to go somewhere cuz it'll hold the vape and two extra batteries and a doob tube. so normally I'll pack the vape, and that's enough for like four bowls) (I like the stuff here, extra batteries if you don't have them, and an external charger eventually.

3/4" pipe screens are must have for this vape as well. makes it so the weed doesn't drop out and there's less mess

edit also note, this is a session vape. so it may take much longer compared to an on-demand vape it really depends on what your use would be. I personally like getting high over like 45 minutes instead of like 10 minutes

u/[deleted] · 2 pointsr/vaporents

If you do most of your vaping at home, I suggest the Extreme Q. Not only can you often find it cheaper on eBay by almost $100, but it conserves bud like none other. My buddy has a Pax, and while I do like it I don't like how you need to pack a full oven to get the full effect (he and I are aware of the screen method, but we often get less vapor from this method).

My go-to for the extreme q is to elbow pack the screen (not in the actual "bowl" of the vape) and set the temperature to around 370 while letting it preheat for about 15 minutes. Long slow draws produce TONS of vapor and I can usually get pretty spaced off even a .1! When I'm vaping with friends and everyone contributes bud, we use the bags and it's really a great time. My suggestion for the bags is buying a CamelBak Bite Valve that is very cheap and is a good way to not let vapor escape. My friends and I can pretty much throw the bag of vapor like a football across the room and it doesn't come off (although I don't suggest that ;))

For cheap guys, I have two of these in my tackle / camping bags at all times. The flame is small enough to actually avoid the wind but not too small for a VapCap.

Ascent Single Jet Torch Flame Cigar and Cigarette Lighter Warranty Green https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01KIWYPHI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_T7bZzbMRR2RZD

I keep one of these at the cottage to use outside. The angle is nice, and it’s one of the most reliable lighters I’ve ever owned. Definitely not as pocketable.

Scorch Torch Matador Single Jet Flame Butane Torch Cigarette Cigar Lighter (Gunmetal) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00OC00ESC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_J9bZzb604PTJ9

But in reality the best pocket torch for a VapCap I’ve ever owned is the Honest Torch (probably easier to get from PIU than Amazon).

Gogil 1Pcs HONEST 1300'C Butane Jet Lighter Torch Random Color NO GAS https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074W5HYTR/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_--bZzbP2N8GK2

Fits in the pocket and shockingly reliable.

Important to note: properly purging any of these before filling is crucial to reliability. Allowing air in the lines is a fast way to making any butane torch super susceptible to wind.

u/NoddingWalrus · 3 pointsr/vaporents

Whatever vape you decide to get, you're better off buying it online. It's cheaper and you have more selection than your local shop.

As everyone on here (and out of here too, I bet), I can't recommend puffitup.com enough.

I'm no expert so definitely wait for other's inputs; just bear in mind that if you're going for the relaxed/sleep aid factor, you'll need a vape capable of doing high temperatures.
What I can tell you is vape smell is nothing compared to proper smoke. I very much doubt that the detector will go off with the vapor, especially if you're not exhaling right towards it. If that was the case, then the alarm would start when you're making pasta and the water is boiling in your pot, for example: the principle is the same.

I never had to worry about it 'cause I'm in a kinda legal country, but imho if you leave a window open no one would be any the wiser. I remember reading good things
about the smoke buddy, so that might be something worth looking into.

Enjoy your new hobby and please put down the bottle, is not doing you any favour!

Have a great day :)

I started out by ordering this mahogany dugout https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01KQRKV6O/ref=pd_aw_sim_201_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=1XB7G32ZR24TRPSRQ2C5 from Amazon. It has a sliding Dovetail lid, so it's pretty smell proof. I wasn't sure if it was going to be long enough. When I got it it looked like it would be just long enough, but only by a few millimeters.http://i.imgur.com/h2fqJsS.jpg I don't trust my drilling skills enough, and I lack a bit that would get me close enough without punching thru the bottom, so I extended the length just a little bit. http://i.imgur.com/2qN8RFC.jpg I used some walnut that I had leftover from a house my father in law and I built. The stairs came out quite nice, https://imgur.com/oj8BTz4 and now I always have a reminder of that job, a piece of the staircase in my pocket. The stash came with two extra lids and some sandpaper, but I wanted the bottom and top to match so I sanded down a piece of walnut for the lid also. http://i.imgur.com/pfiIG2O.jpg The stash compartment is really good size. http://i.imgur.com/83i3CIY.jpg I did hafta drill out quite a bit to get the vapcaps to fit. Added a magnet I had laying around.

I did a thing again.

I love Dynavap. I love Nintendo from my childhood. I found a way to combine them. The rough steps I used are:

  1. Chassis: Disassemble the NES Advantage. (guide). Clean all of the parts in warm, soapy water, because joystick is probably gross after 30+ years.
  2. Joystick: Take out the joystick. Slice off the "stick" part of the joystick with a dremel. Slice half of the bottom off with a dremel (to make room for the induction heater power supply). Drill 2 holes for the induction coil wire to pass through.
  3. PCB: You want to retain the PCB so that all of the buttons on the controller can still be pressed. They will be non-operational, but still fun to press. You need to replace A/B button switches. Use momentary switches; I used 2 spare mechanical keyboard switches (Kailh Box Navy), because I'm a keyboard nerd and like switches that are clicky as hell. In any case, drill the PCB to make room for the switches.
  4. A/B buttons: The plastic stem of the A/B buttons probably will not be the right height for your new switches. Use a dremel to shave off the plastic stem until it is the right height for your switches.
  5. Induction Coil Power Supply: Bend the two "coils" off to the side. You will likely need to cut the copper coils going to the PCB, and re-solder them back on. The coils will not have enough "slack" to allow you to bend them without modification. Once done, the two coils fit perfectly in two of the joystick mounting posts.
  6. Power: Install a 12V DC input jack; install an on/off switch for main power.
  7. Click through to the Imgur album. There is a picture of some of the internals in the Imgur album, that didn't make it to the Reddit preview.

    Parts List

  • (O) = Optional; (R) = Required
  • (R) Heating: Induction Heater power supply & coil ($13)
  • (R) Glass Stem: Cloupor Cloutank M3 Pyrex Glass($4)
  • (R) Power Delivery: MOSFET trigger module 400W / 15A ($7) <-- you can find this for $1 on eBay; but delivery takes 1 month.
  • (R) DC Input jack: DC Input jack 5.5mm x 2.1mm, 10 pack ($11)
  • (R) Switch (operating on/off): [Momentary push button switch]. I chose to use 2 Cherry-clone mechanical keyboard switches.
  • (R) Power Supply Unit: Kastar 12V 6A Power supply (link). Thank you /u/crossfires for the recommendation! Works beautifully!
  • (O) Switch (main power, only DC or batteries): On/off toggle ($3) <-- Look for any switch that is single-pole single-throw (SPST) toggle switch. Buy this switch if only using 1 power source. Buy the switch below if you are using both DC power and batteries.
  • (O) Terminal block: 6-position terminal strip blocks ($12 for 10-pack)

    Miscellaneous parts:

  • Electrical wire
  • Electrical tape
  • Various screws, nuts, bolts, etc.
  • Craft glue
  • Sandpaper
  • Scrap craft wood / boards (you can buy this at home depot or craft shops. Look for 1/4" craft wood boards; about $10 per large board)
  • Tools used: Screwdriver | wire stripper | needle-nose pliers | hacksaw | dremel/rotary tool | soldering iron | drill | drill bits and spade bits Wire everything up, close up the chassis, and you're good to go.

I'm gonna take this in steps so I don't go way off topic and get confusing.

>I put all my ABV in a bag its usually mostly brown but there is still some green is that ok?

That's perfectly fine. As long as it isn't burned, the level of extraction you want is entirely up to you. Some people vape until it's nearly black, others vape until it's a golden brown and everything in between.

>can anyways recommend a good scale for measuring the ABV content?

http://www.amazon.com/American-Weigh-0-01g-Digital-Scale/dp/B0012LOQUQ/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1462369951&sr=8-11&keywords=scale

>my first quest is about dosing being im brand new to this and never ingested cannabis what dosing should i start with?

That's an impossible question to answer. ABV obviously isn't as potent as unvaped herb so you will need to eat a pretty decent amount but exactly how much depends on so many factors it's impossible to really give you a straight answer. My recommendation: Pick a day (or a few days) where you have nothing to do and start experimenting. I don't like the whole put em in a pill method. Make yourself some firecrackers or a pb&j sandwich or something.

>Have any of you ever had an issue with smoking or vaping cannabis and finding out your allergic to it?

That's never happened to me but there are people that are allergic to water so I wouldn't be surprised if people are allergic to cannabis. If you think that's the case I'd take it easy with the vaping until you're sure nothing will happen to you. Some people have very mild allergy symptoms so they act as if they aren't even allergic while others have very severe reactions. Until you're sure it isn't the latter just be careful.

I've had my Extreme Q for a little over a month and I have been loving elbow packs. The conservation of flowers is exceptional and the thick vapor pulls are outstanding.

You consider the straight wand with the replacement SSV cyclone bowl to be even better?

How is it on conservation? One of the things I like so much about an elbow pack is that I can get a great 90 minute high off of a quantity of ground flowers that are light enough to not even register on my digital scale (AWS-100, measures to .01 grams.)

Sorry for so many questions and thanks in advanced for your answers.

u/Improvaper · 5 pointsr/vaporents

Yyyup that's a good one. Dual coinciding flames is PERFECT for the dynavap. Line up with the cap for quick even heat, perpendicular to it for precise or slow heat. The latch is nice when being lazy AF, too. It's been super consistent for me. Winner winner.

No spare battery with the Storm.

I was actually going to get the Storm as it looks the coolest out of the three with the lightning bolt button. But I went with the Vapormate version in the end as I needed it in a hurry for a trip I was making to a friend's and I wanted an eBay vendor who could ship it to an Argos as nobody would be home during the day to for delivery.

As a bonus it was the cheapest of the three versions and although it doesn't have the USB port for charging (which is the reason why it's a good bit cheaper) what you get instead is a spare battery and a battery charger which you would definitely wind up getting anyway. I know from reading other posts that most people don't even use the USB port and instead use a dedicated battery charger as they usually wind up getting spare batteries.

Also get a hard shell pencil case to keep it in. I got one like this one. from eBay.

Here's mine in its case. Click!

I also recommend getting the glass mouthpiece and bubbler. If you get the vapormate version the you can get those plus a water pipe adaptor for around the same price of a Storm by itself.

Edit. Don't worry about the different versions. They are all made in the exact same factory and are identically built. In fact the reason the Xmax is now called the v2 pro is because they adapted all the changes that the Storm people made to the original version (isolated airpath, longer session times and less button presses) as they improved it. In fact if you contact the factory in China yourself and order a few hundred Xmaxs you can rebrand it yourself if you want and make your own changes. That's all the Vapormate version is. It's the exact same vape except Vapormate removed the USB port to make the production costs even cheaper and then put their own logo on it.

My favorites, if I could only buy one it would be the Vapman:

Best price point/quality-Xing https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00L82BU80/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Favorite at home, best ergonomics and striker is an easy thumb slide instead of awkward button depress . Smallish tank is only con. Largest of list- Scorch Torch(comparable to Zico) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00OC00ESC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The Vapman lighter has an outstanding reputation on FC, a large tank, smaller stature than Zico/ScorchTorch. It's my go to travel lighter- Vapman http://infinityvm.com/lighters-etc/

u/fablemaster · 1 pointr/vaporents

I have a small 2 piece titanium space case that works perfectly, here's an amazon link for $23, you may be able to find it a little cheaper on ebay, but thats about what I payed for mine back when I got it.

Even though its small, for vaping it works perfectly, I can easily grind up 5 vape packs at once, and it grinds everything really nicely.

u/fluffton · 7 pointsr/vaporents

I think the other guy was trying to say go with the VapCap though chose to just bash on the other products you mentioned without bothering to talk about your other options. The VapCap M is a solid quality product that can last a lifetime if treated with respect. It also looks pretty gentlemanlike paired with a suit which keeps with the wedding theme.

These little things are a fantastic vape given any price range. I would rather use a VapCap M than many units 4 times the price or more.

One thing I will mention is the packaging / storage tube. This is literally a plastic tube and given the situation I think you would do really well to make some simple presentation boxes for them out of wood. It would be a cheap and easy project to give it that final touch of class.

Oh one other thing to mention and I know this will bump the cost up another $60 or so but get them a nice torch lighter to go with it so that they don't need to go and buy anything to use it. This one or that one would do it nicely.

u/lookatmeglow · 2 pointsr/vaporents

It is alright that there is some green left, if you stir your oven in between the sessions it will help to more evenly vaporize your material. I would also suggest using the screen trick or pax pusher. I am a lightweight as well and shrinking the oven helps to increase the pax's efficiency.

I use this scale.

http://www.amazon.com/American-Weigh-0-01g-Digital-Scale/dp/B0012LOQUQ

It may not be the best, but I have had zero issues with it and it has remained accurate enough for me since I have owned it.

/r/abv will be able to help you with recipes and guides for your abv. I am simple and enjoy a crunchy peanut butter and banana sandwich normally. I have been saving mine up for baking with and my SO has made ginger snap cookies in the past. I have been playing with a cheesecake recipe recently for a more savory dessert.

u/blobcat123 · 1 pointr/vaporents

Honestly man, if you're a fan of ultralight, go for a 2 Piece. Take it from a marketing student, SCC's prices come from the fact that they market really well. They really aren't worth that much, you're paying to be a part of a "scene". Space Case has some reputable grinders. The grind isn't as picture perfect as SCC, but the fluff factor is still very present, and accomplishes the same goal. Much cheaper too.

On the other hand, if you're buying a Dynavap, I could think of an ultra-portable scenario. Those pill bottle grinders would work very well to stash your lighter, VapCap, and material. If you have to, you can ditch anything incriminating in one swoop.

u/BlinkyInkyPinkyClyde · 3 pointsr/vaporents

I used to use a Smoke Buddy, and they do work well, but I find I prefer these:

https://www.amazon.com/Eco-Four-Twenty-Personal-Filter/dp/B07GL8GQBW/ref=sr_1_7?crid=2R4UPTQ76JJQI&keywords=eco+four+twenty&qid=1568766562&sprefix=eco+four%2Caps%2C219&sr=8-7

They last as long and are refillable.

I would just recommend removing the filter and letting it dry out between uses. Similarly, I'd recommend letting a Smoke Buddy dry out without the cap on between uses as well. I find it helps prolong the life of both.

u/NiCkLeB474 · 5 pointsr/vaporents

I am going to put in a vote for a Sticky Brick. I own and love both devices, and the reason I'm going for the Brick is because the way it's used is more reminiscent of smoking. It feels like you're smoking out of a bowl.

Also, when it comes to "Fast and hard hitting", both devices are exactly that, but the Brick can vape faster and hit harder, relatively speaking.

Lastly, if at any point the sesh has more than one person, the Brick is, in my opinion, the only option. Vapcaps are a very personal experience, due to bowl size.

My torch recommendation is this: Eagle Torch
It is Prime eligible as well. I hope you find a vape that prevents your mother from smoking.

Edit: Forgot to recommend some butane: Colibri This is also Prime eligible.

Awesome man. I cannot tell you how cool I find all this. Science!

Here is what I have purchased so far.

ZVS Heater and Coil Combo

Switch. Can hold up to 20amps not sure that mattters whatever, room for extra isn't bad.

[Glass Tube]I DELETED THIS AS WHAT I HAD HERE IS TOO BIG! DO NOT BUY THE GUITAR SLIDE I HAD LISTED! NEW TUBE. I ordered this from China on a Thursday, let's see how long it takes to get here.

So, I would just be missing the mosfet and momentary switches that you have. Do you find them necessary? I might just buy the mosfet and momentary for peace of mind, but I did see a couple build that avoided the mosfet for simplicity's sake. This build seems to have avoided one.

Any further advice (wire gauge, soldering tips, etc)? I am currently looking for a good box to put it all in. Thanks again for the reply.

EDIT - MOSFET

IF ANYONE IS READING THIS IN THE FUTURE, CONSIDER USING A 120W POWER SUPPLY. I DO NOT REALLY UNDERSTAND BUT SUPPOSEDLY IT MATTERS.

Check out the Smoke Buddy or the Sploofy. They eliminates smell by using a carbon filter, a mini version of what they use on grow ops to eliminate smell. Lasts around 3-500 uses. The Spoofy has a replaceable filter inside. I prefer the SB because they have a Jr version which is great for portability...I'm a server and I use it to vape my hopper in the bathroom stall with zero smell. But if that's not a concern then the spoofy is great because it has replaceable filters, where the SB you have to buy a whole new unit. They all eliminate the smell very well to nothing.

If you feel like it or see one, you can also use a bite valve, like they use for waterpacks, usually can find them in an outdoors/camping shop.

When you said the largest micro case were you referring to the Pelican 1120? That is the one I have my eye on now, the 1200 would for sure work but I think the 1120 should be able to fit everything well.

So far it's been really good. It's somewhat big but for me that's nice because big butane tank.

Do you recommend any particular lubricants? This product looks good. Chemically it's identical to what Ploom sells.

Another vote here for the propylene glycol available on Amazon. This is what I got, works beautifully.

u/nooshaw · 1 pointr/vaporents

I have the Zico T-38. Single flame but heats up my Ti and M pretty quickly. Haven't combusted anything with it yet.

A regular lighter will leave soot and won't heat the cap very fast.

You are better off using a refillable torch lighter like THIS or THIS and using butane to refill it when it's out

u/A_Small_Grey_Stone · 2 pointsr/vaporents

Dynavap sells a few torches, like this one It has 3 flames. Many people prefer a torch with only a single flame, like these They tend to be more reliable,
and can provide bigger hits due to higher bowl temperatures.

As for fuel (the butane itself), higher quality fuel is recommended as it leaves no taste and won't clog up your lighters.

Brand 2

One can will refill a lighter about 20 times, depending on how big the lighter is. I've found that a full lighter last me days of heavy usage.

How to refill

Hold on wrong item lol.

Holds all the tools, the vape, some screens, a loading card, the bubbler mouthpiece, and the water pipe adaptor lol. Good investment.

Butane burns into Carbon dioxide and water vapor. Nothing to worry about, as long as you get good stuff. Here's what I've been using, and here's a list.

u/King-kinky · 1 pointr/vaporents

I use this exact one,
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01M6C8F34/ref=pd_aw_sim_sbs_121_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=HNCRAH3XT37SXRQ34JEH&dpPl=1&dpID=71zA6QiYJHL
It heats up in about 7-10 seconds and works really well. My only complaint is that I have to refill it often because of the small tank. It looks pretty sleek though.

u/vaporman2084 · 1 pointr/vaporents

Arc lighters usually just light paper from a spark. There is no flame. I think you should look for a torch instead.

I have this one

A 3 flame torch like this is recommended.

u/yourtokingbuddy · 3 pointsr/vaporents

This has gotten good reviews in a number of places on Reddit and is a decent price that's not a bank breaker since the Eagle isn't doing it for you

I usually tour Amazon Canada. They have a decent selection of torch lighters.

Here is the link to a 3rd party zippo torch insert. Zippo actually makes a 1st party one now but not in Canada.

Zippo Torch Insert

u/Kraivyne · 1 pointr/vaporents

It's basically a 2 torch zippo. Its pretty good.

I was originally just going to get the Z Plus 2 insert from amazon, but that costs $18. With the 420 discount I got the Z Plus 2 with zippo for $12.

u/_accountisthrowaway_ · 3 pointsr/vaporents

It's called propylene glycol. You need the good grade level. Amazon has it for $7.79 a pint and it should last you until it expires (years).

I haven't had to learn to adjust to smoking in a dorm yet (Although that's definitely gonna have to change in the next 6~ months)

I always figured you could keep the door closed, the window open, and Using a Smoke Buddy would be more than enough to get away with vaping in an individual room

u/grasschoocher · 1 pointr/vaporents

I found mine while it was on sale on amazon.ca for around 45$

Get a bite valve from a camelbak so you don't have to hold your finger over the mouthpiece. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0019DCVTA/ref=sr_sp-atf_title_1_1?qid=1394495388&sr=8-1

I believe you're looking for this. All vapes will leave an odor, but if you exhale through this and use a candle, you'll be right as rain.

Tried it with my zippo, with a Z plus insert. 10 seconds.
I'm not sure what exactly is noticeable anyway. The triple flame torch from Dynavap is BIC lighter sized.

u/bozekitty · 1 pointr/vaporents

I get the most consistent results from a Mantello Catador triple torch. $15usd but not sure about UK availability.

So there are a lot more vapcap owners after 420 sales. My first couple weeks with the vapcap sucked because my lighters sucked. I want you to have a better experience! One of my biggest issues with the vapcap when i first got it was all the shitty failing lighters, i must have tried close to 10 different ones before i found some that i liked..err found some that didn't shit the bed on me.

Remember to purchase good butane too! Colibri has been serving me well. I like vector as well but i buy that at my local smoke shop. A lot cheaper there.

u/Drama_Derp · 8 pointsr/vaporents

It's a sploof. Activated carbon filter in a plastic case. Unless you blow out with significant force, there is no cloud, no vapor. It condensates within the filter and the carbon removes the smell.

https://www.amazon.com/Smoke-Buddy-Personal-Filter-Blue/dp/B00478UIB2

I'll clarify by saying that they knew I was doing but they didn't notice any smell when I had started in their peripheral.

u/zombiemoan · 3 pointsr/vaporents

I can guarantee if you use a vape out of sight they will never know. I bring one to work since I'm alone on weekends. My house smells only skunky after Ive ground up fresh bud.

If you are really worried buy a smoke buddy:
Which is essentially a tube with activated charcoal at the end of it.

http://www.amazon.com/Smoke-Buddy-Personal-Filter-Purifier/dp/B00478UIB2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1412350067&sr=8-1&keywords=smoke+buddy

Just for the record. I lived in apartment for 3 years that was carpeted. I smoked joints and bongs and never had problems or extra fees when I left. I bought a house and smoke all the time. People come over and have no idea. Marijuana doesn't linger, just the "combustion smoke." I'm not trying to convince you to smoke inside, but if the far end of the spectrum doesn't have any lingering smells, I cant imagine vaporizing hydrocarbons below 400 degrees would create a worse effect.

Also wanted to throw in that I had one bad ass deep fabric sofa in my apartment. When i left i sold it to a coworker, he had no complaints.
