This book might be of use for recipes. 30 minute frugal vegan. Link

Regarding best milk, it's worth testing a few different ones (oat, coconut, almond, soy, cashew) and see how they fare in your day to day, such as with tea or coffee or cereals. Personally I like the KOKO brand coconut milk as I drink a lot of tea and it seems to be the least affecting of the tea flavour to me. It's personal preference though.

Here's some amazon links for some that I own:

I haven’t been able to find any that doesn’t come in a non plastic tub unfortunately. But for margarines with the best policies on palm oil I found this link really useful.

Marks and Spencer’s has the best palm oil policy of the supermarkets.
This book has a recipe for making your own https://www.amazon.co.uk/Homemade-Vegan-Pantry-Making-Staples-ebook/dp/B00NRQXT70/ref=sr_1_1?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1543047042&sr=1-1&keywords=Vegan+pantry
As does this book https://www.amazon.co.uk/Homemade-Vegan-Pantry-Making-Staples-ebook/dp/B00NRQXT70/ref=sr_1_1?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1543047042&sr=1-1&keywords=Vegan+pantry
I haven’t tried these recipes yet but I’ll say if I do at any point.

I think these might also be available in farmfoods, but in a different pack. One that's metallic and green.

I was looking these up last night to see where I'd be able to get them if Aldi stop doing them, and I saw these which I'm sure I've seen in Farmfoods before. I'll check on the way home from work and report back!

u/sookiespy, here is what I use. It is D3 based too as u/highway_robbery82 suggests.

Without getting into the rest of your question, I can tell you that the protein powder I use (Pulsin' Unflavoured Soya Protein Powder 1kg |Gluten Free | Vegan https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B003V1WWGU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_cEUmzbDVFTG52) is 90% protein. Leaves all the other shit for dust!

Try these out:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/BodyMe-Organic-Protein-Orange-Proteins/dp/B01LXTNE6I/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?keywords=bodyme+protein+bar&qid=1567365739&s=gateway&sprefix=body+me+&sr=8-3

BodyMe Protein Bars - they taste decent enough for a vegan no soy bar and are ‘organic’ too. There are more flavours than the orange but I’ve only ever had that one.

I found a seitan pepperoni recipe ages ago. I already make vegan cheese (I use this) and desperately, desperately want a pepperoni pizza. Of all the things to miss, that's the top for me. Second is a bacon butty. I really envy the vegans who say they don't miss meat, sadly that's not me. When lab grown meat is sold to the masses I'll be first in line!
