Your best bet if you want to go via USB is to setup a Windows XP virtual machine and pass through the camera to that. Something like this guide is probably your best bet. With a XP virtual machine and the original drivers you should be able to capture the video.

Not sure if any Elgato cards actually do analogue inputs but if they do, then you look to need a 3.5mm to video/audio cable for that.

Julius Sherman, who is better known for his incredibly precise large-format architectural photography, published a whole book of photos with this camera (or one like it, I'm not sure since my copy is at home in the states).
