Congrats! I hope you like it! As for accessories...
Get the Hori Screen Protector. It's the best screen protector I've used, goes on so easy with no bubbles, I believe it's a favorite of many in this sub.
For a case, I use the Hori Face Cover because I don't like to have to keep up with the case while I'm playing, since I play in public a lot. It kinda turns your Vita into a 3DS-like clamshell. Flip it open to play, and then close it shut for protection. It keeps the Vita slim so you can still fit it in your pocket, but not worry about protection.
If youre looking for a grip, I don't have a suggestion because I haven't found one I like yet. I have had multiple Nyko Power Grips that have come defective out of the box, so I don't buy anything from them. However, it seems lots of people here love that grip so YMMV.
Finally, I'd definitely recommend getting Playstation Plus. You can get 3 months for $17.99 or a year for $49.99. Basically every month they give you at least 2 free games on the Vita, but this month we got 5! If you get it before the first Tuesday in December you can get all 5 of those games for free. The 5 from this month are: The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, Luftrausers, The Hungry Horde, Escape Plan, and SteamWorld Dig. If you own any other Sony consoles (PS4/PS3) there's even more incentive to get PS+ because you'll get free games on those systems as well. It's the same service that allows you to play online on the PS4 (but you don't need it to play online on the Vita). You can also get discounts on games through PS+. Keep in mind that once your subscription expires, you will not be able to play the free games, but any games you bought with the PS+ discount are yours forever. That said, if you were to renew PS+ later, you would get access to all the free games you had previously claimed. Through PS+ you also get access to a cloud to store your save files, so if you have a smaller memory card you can delete and re-download games as you want to play them. Even if you only have a Vita the service is more than worth it. I'd never have to buy a game again and it would give me plenty to play, and it's opened me up to genres I never knew I'd like.
If you do get PS+, or you prefer digital games, you may eventually need a bigger memory card. As of now the biggest available in North America is 32gb, but there is a 64gb available in Asia. No games or accessories for the Vita are region locked, meaning you can play games/use memory cards from other countries. The memory cards are pretty overpriced and a 64gb runs from around $80-100. You definitely don't have to have it, but it is an option.
Anyways! That's about it. That was really long, oh well. If you have any other questions feel free to ask!
x
I love the franchise, so I'm sure that makes me curve its grade better than most. But overall? Yes. I would have loved to have a 1:1 conversion of all content from Borderlands2 (especially TinyTina's adventure!), but I can still romp around in Lynchwood, listen to HandsomeJack's madness from start to finish, even take on the total conversion for the sand pirates of CaptainScarlett's addon, one of the two included. Combat feels more Ratchet&Clank than Borderlands, but it's still enjoyable and the hardware itself is a joy to hold and play on.
The biggest asset the game has on Vita is that excellent package I got mine with, where you get a memcard, the hardware, and a game to boot, all for cheaper than the regular price, or worse-case scenario, cheaper than purchasing the individual components separately. But the game feels more a fan's adventure than a standalone experience, so the current price of $20 (and sometimes $10!) is the perfect intersection between hours and hours of content and the level of gameplay. I'd still recommend, and highly recommend if you love the Borderlands franchise!
(My next hugely-anticipated title is the Vita version of XCOM, so I can buy it a 6th time, but even more portable this time around than on a full-sized tablet or eating battery off my phone!)
Exceptional conversation you've prompted on here, /u/KuronekoFan! Definitely enjoying all the responses, from yourself and all Vita VIPs!
okay for screen protectors i recommend these, i use them on my vita slim and they are super easy to apply! http://www.amazon.com/iLLumiShield-Protector-Anti-Bubble-Anti-Fingerprint-Replacement/dp/B00FZ24MZM/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1417925747&sr=8-2&keywords=ps+vita+screen+protector and a good case for the slim is this http://www.ebay.com/itm/Aluminum-Hard-Guard-Protector-Cover-Case-for-Sony-PS-Vita2000-/360916978790?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5408540c66 very cheap but it protects the vita well! i use it on mine :) oh and i highly highly recommend Persona 4 Golden! its by far the best vita RPG in my honest opinion, i am 96 hours in and still enjoying the game! you can get it for 20 dollars at gamestop, it was the best 20 dollars i have ever spent!
It all depends. People praise the old 1000 model for its oled screen but meh, its not better, I think they are equal in class, but do slightly different things.
The one you linksd is the new 2000 model, which I would recommend since it is the only model you can get new, and the small changes make it overall a better console. "Best" is always subjective, but being your first vita, I think it is best for you in this situation. The changes include.
Must have missed the sale, this one was one sale for 170 this week, but sadly it looks like sale has ended
http://www.gamestop.com/ps-vita/consoles/playstation-vita-system-aqua-blue-gamestop-exclusive/125335
There is this model as well which comes with a download voucher for borderlands 2 and an 8gb memory card, again thought the sale ended for this one as well lol

EDIT
Also no problem! Just like to try and be helpful. Especially if there is a potential addition to the wonderful vita community! Lol
You’re gonna need a memory card if you’re gonna get games for your vita. It’s pricey but you can get them off of Amazon. Get the one that’s specifically by Sony like this :
PlayStation Vita Memory Card 64GB (PCH-Z641J) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00F27JGVA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_gqgUDb7D65T2W
I’ve heard the vita won’t take in any other memory card that’s not by Sony.
In terms of games, i would recommend Persona 4 (JRPG), Fata Morgana (Visual Novel), Salt and Sanctuary (it’s like Dark Souls’s mechanics), Dangan Ronpa series (Visual Novel), The Nonary Games (Visual Novel + Puzzle/Mystery game. It’s like a game where you’re given puzzles and you figure it out), Dragon’s Crown (RPG)
Also may want a screen protector like this:
(Pack of 2) Screen Protector For PS Vita 1000, Akwox Premium HD Clear 9H Tempered Glass Screen Protective Film For Sony PlayStation Vita PSV 1000-Max Clarity And Touch Accuracy Film https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01GYPB1HU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_-wgUDbBY2JSF7
and if the vita feels too flat in your hand, you can get those grips that’s something like this:
Insten New Trigger Grips Hand Grip Compatible With PS Vita PSVita Playstation Vita 1000 (PCH-1000), black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00QGTJPM8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_CxgUDbS4D5R40
That’s all i can think of off the top of my head
So it turns on with the charger plugged in? Does it show any sign of power? Make sure you fiddle around with it when you're going to see it in person, check if it looks like its been tampered with.
If its not been tampered with and you don't mind spending the $40 that's a damn good deal.
Is it easy to fix? Yes if you're good with simple tools and careful and know how to follow instructions.
https://www.ifixit.com/Teardown/PlayStation+Vita+Teardown/7872
8/10 is a good score. The higher ifixit gives a hardware product the easier it is to fix so yes.
As of this post 12/26/2014 this ps vita battery on amazon is $30.
Via iFixit
> The battery is secured to the back case with a pair of Phillips #00 screws and... well that's it. There's no adhesive!
> The Vita's battery runs at a standard 3.7 V and packs an impressive 2210 mAh punch.
From the looks of ifixit getting to the battery is a very simple and easy fix.
The Vita is a very good handheld device if you're a casual gamer. You can find some good games here and I'm sure you can find a lot of suggestions here as well
No one's suggested Danganronpa, re: games? Gotta fix that.
As a female vita owner who also likes J-games, I'm going to recommend Danganronpa. If you think your wife would like a game about teenagers trapped in a school and forced to kill each other, where one of the main characters is an animatronic wise-cracking bear. And if she doesn't already have it.
...only if she likes to read, though, since it's a visual novel (with mini-games and wandering around the school, but still a ton of reading).
If she likes that, there are two other Danganronpa games + a future game on the horizon.
If she ends up liking visual novels, there's also the Steins;Gate visual novel and Virtue's Last Reward (which I haven't yet played myself but have been assured is fantastic).
I also totally second P4G. And Project Diva, if she likes rhythm games. And maybe Hatoful Boyfriend, if you think she'd like dating pigeons.
There are also a bunch of classic PS1 JRPGs available for the vita via the PSN store for super-cheap, like Final Fantasy and Suikoden.
Can't help too much with accessories, except to say that you should definitely get her a big memory card if you can, and that the P4G Dancing All Night Collector's Edition includes a neat pouch and vita skin. Depends on whether she's into P4G, though.
Edit: quick grammar fix
I got the Red Japan-exclusive PS Vita for pretty cheap off of eBay, but the only hurdle I had to get around was replacing the battery. If you don't know how to replace them, or are extremely nervous with doing it, I highly don't recommend getting an OG Vita unless you know someone who's willing to replace the battery for you.
Reason I'm mentioning the battery in the first place is because old Vita handhelds drain super fast, and have a lot of battery errors like going into sleep mode because it thinks it has no battery, when in reality it does.
You can buy a replacement battery for cheap off of Amazon, and it works like a charm once it's installed. Good luck, happy shopping~
I have the PDP Trigger Grips. Be warned, if you have a "full" screen protector (Static Cling or Water applied) it will scrunch it up unless you work really hard to either trim the water applied/static cling or some how mess with the Static Cling.
---
Some additional accessories that I find useful:
Of course, a travel case. Depending on your style pick a cloth or hard case. I personally like my official Sony Travel Pouch. It's soft and has lots of room for the Vita, headphones, extra games, and a cleaning cloth. Hard cases (Usually 3rd party) are pretty good depending which. I also have the DreamGear hard case as a more travel friendly when going to another person's house. My issue with it is that the case itself fits really snugly with the Vita where it can push on the Power button.
Official Vita Travel Pouch (9.33. Free shipping with Prime)
DreamGEAR 7 in 1 Starter Gear Hard Case (12.99 Free shipping with Prime or $25+)
---
You also want a back screen protector for the back touch panel alone. That thing is very prone to scratches.
---
Thumbstick grips are also very great for the extra grip you want. Sadly, the one I have is discontinued. So I can't really recommend a product I haven't used.
Bluecell Thumb Grips
You can certainly find others. Just read reviews. Be a smart consumer!
---
A great pair of headphones is a must if you travel a bit. I would wholeheartly recommend the official Sony Vita headphones. Great sound and cheap. Has a built in Mic but I'm not sure how good that is.
Official Sony Vita In Ear Canal headphones ($11.95)
---
A handy 2A-2.1A outlet USB charger with a spare USB Vita Cable is always nice to have around traveling.
Please Note: When purchasing additional back up battery packs or charging outlet thingies. Make sure it's 2A to 2.1A (2,000 mA to 21000 mA. not mAh**) output. The vita needs at least 1.5A output to be charged while playing or 1A while off (Very slow).
First of all, mandatory gif.
Theres a big chance we are going to have a flash sale tomorrow, if not, next friday, so, you could wait to see if we get one tomorrow and look if they have something you are interested.
If theres no sale tomorrow, you can buy Persona 4 Golden from the PSN at 30 USD or physical from amazon at 20 USD, the game is totally worth any price, is a long game, my first run was like 70 hours, one of the best games I have ever played, just have in mind that is the most JRPG thing you will ever play, 75% of great dialogues and 25% dungeons with challenging boss fights.
Have been using this for years and love it. Feels very nice to the touch. https://www.amazon.com/CTA-Digital-Vita-Travel-Protective-Case/dp/B0073ESYZO/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1497771519&sr=1-1&keywords=vita+cases
As a bonus, it fits one of these neatly inside, so that I always my best games with me on the go: https://www.amazon.com/Nyko-Game-Case-Vita-PlayStation/dp/B007AJZ5PY/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1497771587&sr=1-1&keywords=vita+card+case
I have the hori flip case for the 2000, and it is excellent. The glossy finish feels meh, and scratches easily, but it covers the vita effectively and keeps the sticks protected, which was my #1 concern.
A bigger memory card is definitely a must. I just got a 32 GB card a few days ago and I'm blown away with all that I can fit on there. I finally don't feel cramped for space.
I've been using these for some time now. They don't add a ton of size but give me extra control for sure. I only used the square-ish shaped ones and the ones with the raised/pointed directions. Love em. I have both the silicone and hard plastic variants and find the silicone to give a better grip feel on the thumbs. Was considering the Xbone thumb stick covers, but they wouldn't be compatible with my case and would hinder portability. Hope this helps.
Congrats! Vita is a great machine with a HUGE catalog.
I like this case and this card holder, which fits nicely inside.
vita case
[screen protector]
(https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00J00BLRM/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1) - i put it on slightly crooked, but it hasn't curled up at all, so i just live w/ the tiny imperfection in it's placement.
[bonus: game case]
(https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007AJZ5PY/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1) - fits in the vita case alongside a pair of headphones. the vita case has like 5 little pockets for games, but this holds more, protects games better, and has a couple inserts for holding memory cards.
On that note, i think i'm gonna go lay down and wrap up chapter 5 of Trails of Cold Steel 1. Woohoo!

I just picked up the following grip. Amazon Link
It is a silicon grip that wraps the entire Vita. I have the hori L3/R3 grip, but just started playing Helldivers and LBP and needed access to the rear touchscreen.
This grip is pretty good, but not as sturdy as the hard plastic grips. Still comfortable to hold and works fine as long as you're not squeezing it too hard.
Glad to make you laugh, was the intent lol.
I'll give you a list of accessories i have for the PS Vita that in my experience have been greatly satisfactory.
[dreamGear Comfort Grip]

Hori Screen Protector
PS Vita in Ear headset Sony
64 GB Memory Card
Amazon Basics PS Vita Armored Case
From my experience, Hori and dreamGear are really good products.
i read that the pdp trigger grip was a flawed accessory and got alot of negative reviews regarding the triggers not work half the time. So i'd avoid it till pdp comes out with a better design or you find something better.
https://www.amazon.com/Smatree-Carrying-Console-Accessories-Included/dp/B01JUEWS4W/ref=sr_1_1?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1478287791&sr=1-1&keywords=P100L
-I use the big one when i'm ganna be out all day and need to take everything with me. I got this because it has a decent size compartment to put other stuff in like my charger even though i have a separated case for all my chargers and most importantly the 12 cartridge slots!
https://www.videogamesplus.ca/vita-2000-carrying-pouch-black-tomee-vita-p-22539.html
-I use this when i don't want to carry anything else other than my PS Vita (I usually use this when i dont have any bags with me thatll fit the big case in. Btw i can use this pouch with my ps vita and fit it perfectly in the bigger case :p)
https://www.amazon.ca/Protector-Tech-Armor-Definition-HD-Clear/dp/B00KC3NHPK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1478288216&sr=8-1&keywords=tech+armor+ps+vita
-Tech Armor is my go to screen protector for most of my devices, cheap and fast shipping and since they're in amazon i can get it same day or next day shipping since i hate waiting LOL. I ordered it anyways even though i didn't need it since my imported Neon Orange PS Vita came with a screen protector.
I use a Nyko case, it's super thin. So I can carry it in my pocket without having to worry about my Vita scratching. It's perfectly safe inside my backpack also. It's definitely not the most protective case if I dropped it(don't ever plan on dropping it though so it's okay).
I would recommend this one: ZTHY Sony Playstation PS Vita PCH-1001 PCH-1101 Battery Pack SP65M 2210mAH https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00OTAZAPC/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_Cs9gybMH4K4DS Just as good as the original battery. Good luck!
P4G is currently $20 on Amazon and Gamestop. PSN is $30. It's honestly worth the money though. Lots of replay value, tons of story extras and events.
I would also recommend getting the Danganronpa series if you are into visual novel style games. Great murder mystery game (and if the English voices aren't your thing, you can change the language). I think both games are ~$30.
Virtues Last Reward and Y's: Memories of Celceta are my other recommendations. Virtue is ~$30 and Y's is ~$20.
Thanks for the thorough and thoughtful response! I really appreciate it!
It looks like Amazon has the cheapest, at $169. Is this the best model though? http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00PV515DU/ref=s9_simh_gw_g63_i1_r?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=desktop-1&pf_rd_r=1D4A9RPNG0BWR4FGAMWJ&pf_rd_t=36701&pf_rd_p=2079475242&pf_rd_i=desktop
I use this case as my daily case. It probably won't protect from a huge fall or anything, but its perfect for using in a bag or something like that. Also its not bulky, and it looks nice.
http://www.amazon.com/Nyko-Power-Armor-Vita-Sony-PS/dp/B008J16BAU
There's a few different ones on Amazon that are pretty cheap.
There are a few others but I think these are probably the better ones. Hope you find what you're looking for!
Depends how good you are at applying them - not sure if first link is glass
This one will probably be easier to apply and is definitely glass,

I don't know about getting the marks out, but you could always invest in some grips to put on the thumbsticks like [these] (http://www.amazon.com/Bluecell-Control-Controller-Joystick-Playstation-Vita/dp/B00G3TV6Q4/ref=sr_1_1?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1414085075&sr=1-1&keywords=bluecell+vita). I use them myself and they're actually pretty nice.
Yeah right...
I bought two like these for OLED, and slim. They fit a thin layer of armor, or silicone, and last long.
For my OLED:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01JUEWS4W/ref=cm_cr_arp_mb_bdcrb_top?ie=UTF8
My slim:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B017LMOKSC/ref=yo_ii_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1
EDIT: You'll want these types of cases for your Vita. Examine some saying EVA "shockproof" that has game slots on it, and room for a charger.
These are all nicer cases! ;-)
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/s/ref=is_s_ss_i_0_11?k=ps+vita+travel+case&sprefix=ps+vita+tra
I picked up these from Gamestop when I bought the Vita: http://www.amazon.com/Vita-2000-Trigger-Grip-Sony-PSP/dp/B00JYE8L9K
It's actually a really nice product so far. It's soft to the touch, but thick and rigid enough to hold the Vita tightly. The triggers aren't as smooth as I'd like (due to just pressing down the existing L/R buttons), but nothing game breaking so far. It's easy to attach and remove. I would recommend it for someone looking for grips.
I used to use the pdp grip but now I use these.
It feels more comfortable in my hands but it sets weird on the ground.
For a game like SS I highly recommend picking up some stick covers, the concave covers really make a difference.
I just bought a used one from Amazon here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B00HLT0YT0/ref=dp_olp_used?ie=UTF8&condition=used. After a 25% discount that shows up in cart, the acceptable quality ones are ~$144. Mine didn't come with the memory card it was supposed to, so Amazon CS gave me a $28 refund. Vita is in fairly good condition and works great, not bad for $116 after the refund!
No my mod just allows the thumbsticks tops to snap on and off.
I bought these Bluecell thumbstick covers.
I cut the thumbsticks off the Xbox One's that I got off Ebay for like $1.
I dremeled underneath the XBO thumbstick a bit to make a "bowl" shape so the Bluecell can fit nicely in there. I epoxied the Bluecell top under the XBO one and now I have a nice pair of thumbsticks that I can pull on and off at will.
Here is the one I own.
http://www.amazon.com/Vita-2000-Trigger-Grip-Sony-PSP/dp/B00JYE8L9K/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1419650935&sr=8-5&keywords=psvita+grips
Its pretty comfortable but I might start looking for something with a larger grip. Definitely better than not using it
I just got this one and I like it.
https://www.amazon.com/Smatree-P100L-Carrying-Case-Cover/dp/B01JUEWS4W/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1494345826&sr=8-1-spons&keywords=ps+vita+case&psc=1
You can fit lots of games in and I like that theres a zip pouch for your charging cable too. Fit is nice and snug and the case seems rigid and protective enough.
im using the illumishield protectors - super easy installation (and trust me, i am very clumsy), looks great and does the job. I've heard the Horis were good but i ordered these because of the higher average reviews on Amazon (4.5 vs 4)
http://www.amazon.com/iLLumiShield-Protector-Anti-Bubble-Anti-Fingerprint-Replacement/dp/B00FZ24MZM/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1405700271&sr=8-5&keywords=vita+screen+protector
This case is pretty great. It can really protect the Vita. That, and it can hold eight games and two memory cards.
http://www.amazon.com/PSVita-Custom-Crystal-Sony-PS-Vita/dp/B006X0KBY6
I went through this same dilemma recently, and ended up with two different grips.
First I bought the PDP because it seemed to be the most "dual shock" like. It's pretty expensive, so I bought one used off eBay. It came smelling like cigarettes, but after leaving it in a bowl of warm dishsoap for an hour it was good as new. However, the shoulder triggers are terrible. Very spongey and they are prone to getting stuck at times. Plus they make an awful squeaky crunching sound that made it hard to play at night without waking up my SO. A lot of other people had this problem online, so I tried a few different solutions I found. I took out the top screws to make the case looser, which didn't make much of a difference. Later I used some WD-40 on the triggers which made a tiny difference, but not enough.
I decided I was done with the stupid thing and about a week ago I ordered the Dreamgear Comfort Grip off Amazon. It doesn't feel as much like a dual shock, but it is waaaay better than the stupid overpriced PDP in every other aspect. Going from the PDP to the Dreamgear was like taking gloves made of cement off my hands. I recommend the DG 100%.
If your main use is streaming, here's some options:
If you have a TV at your bed and don't want to hog up the family TV, look into a [PSTV] (https://www.amazon.com/PlayStation-TV/dp/B00KVMHSUM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1495405446&sr=8-1&keywords=pstv). Or, if you prefer portable and own a decent gaming PC, look into the NVIDIA SHIELD Portable. However, if none of these alternatives fit you, the PSVita with a cheap mem card and a remote play grip is your best bet.
I recently got this generic vita grip it's like the nyko one but doesn't have a battery pack. It's pretty nice grip for a very cheap price.
I have used many different types of grips over the 4 years I have owned mine. I've used everthing from one with trigger grips to one that looks like the steering wheel to the batmobile. It comes down to what your preference is. This is the one i use currently:
https://www.amazon.com/Insten-Trigger-Grips-Compatible-PSVita-Playstation/dp/B00QGTJPM8/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1486641865&sr=8-7&keywords=ps+vita+hand+grip
It's very cheap but makes holding the unit comfortable for longer term play which is what I want.
I have the Butterfox case and really like it. However, I use the Nyko Power Grips, which won't allow me to close the case. So, I bought the Amazon Basics Case, which works perfectly for my needs. Because the Amazon case is not made for the Vita, you will need to carry game-protecting case (e.g., this one) if you want to carry multiple cartridges with you.
I used these on my 1000 and then on my 2000:
http://amzn.com/B00FZ24MZM
I really like them a lot. For all it is worth (if you end up looking for an alternative). Good luck getting it sorted.

I'm using this one: https://www.amazon.com/Protector-Akwox-Tempered-Protective-PlayStation/dp/B01GYPB1HU
Although you'll never be able to completely hide scratches, I'm afraid. Your best bet would be to either send it in for repair (expensive, sources claim it'll cost $100-150), or replace the front yourself for about $30. From what I can tell it's a pretty easy process too.

I also bought the glass screen protectors for the front and back and put on there. It's much more enjoyable to play now with my giant fucking gorilla hands.
This is the one i use. A couple of the reviewers noted issues with the Vita Slim but it's been fine for me. it's perfect if you want to carry it in your pocket!

I believe I saw the cards on a small discount on Amazon yesterday when I was buying a Vita grip. Not sure if it was on UK or Spain.
Edit: Yeah it was UK

£43.80 Seems pretty good to me. At least, considering the normal card prices.
I'm not sure if it's available cheaper, but Amazon has the Borderlands 2 bundle available for $170. They only have 6 left in stock, but they might restock during the sale.
EDIT: Seems like they sold out. Before they sold out it said they had more on the way, so you could keep an eye on Amazon in case they restock. Though there may be a better deal out there.
I have the grip with triggers. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00JYE8L9K/ref=pd_aw_sim_63_1?ie=UTF8&dpID=41selrRKObL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL100_SR100%2C100_&refRID=07MP76Z2VC1HSEJPFY1K I don't usually feel like my hand cramps up like when I play my original 3ds.
I finally found these and it works great. Similar to the Nyko grip but it is just a grip, no charging. Nice and light too.

I use one of these and I'm really happy with it. Really easy to apply and afterwards its like there's nothing on it at all. The only real downside is that there will be a tiny, barely noticeable sliver that's uncovered unless you are 100% accurate with application.
https://www.ifixit.com/Teardown/PlayStation+Vita+Teardown/7872
there goes the simple solutions now u may have to do a bit of a teardown to check connections from the battery pack to the vita and ensure solid connections and or replace battery pack

at least amazon sells the battery pack and prime too lol
I was on the same boat 2 days ago, and ended up using Amazon. I didn't want to, because I didn't want to risk getting a refurbished unit passing as new, but it seems like I got lucky as my unit was in fact new.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007AJZ5PY?ref_=gb1h_tit_m-3_9942_b65aa030&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER
I picked this up off amazon just before Xmas. The memory card slot are actually removable inserts so you can take them out for a total storage space of ten games.
I really like it. It shuts down tight so you don't have to worry about it coming undone even with a bit of rough handling and its pretty streamline.
I got the skin here and i bought the comfortgrip from amazon. I bought a tempered glass screen protector from ebay. If you create a paypal account and add you payment method into that and use paypal on ebay you will be protected by paypal.
Edit: yes for the aqua blue 2000. The same items are available for the 1000 if you have that.
How big are your hands? You might want to get a grip case. It's made the difference for me, my hands don't cramp up at all anymore and gaming is actually WAY more fun now.
There are several different types, but I went for the $18 dreamgear skin. It has a nice comfortable feel, has cut-outs for all the ports and the rear has two bumps on either end of the VITA for grips. No more accidental rear-touch pad hits either.
Check it out:

It's the best value.
The definitive game to me is Project Diva f 2nd. I put in like 100 hours on it so it has amazing value for the price.
If you get the game and manage to beat an 8 star or higher song on extreme difficulty with an excellent rating, I will buy you another rhythm game. No bamboozle.
I paid $49.38 for a new 32GB Vita memory card at Best Buy in October 2013. That was a good price back then, and it still is now. heck, according to camelx3, the lowest price amazon has ever had is $59.50.
the 64GB cards don't really go on sale, as they aren't officially available in North America. So if you are going to import one, there is no time like the present.
I found that the Vita cradle that sony put out to be rather useful. It allows you to stand it up and still charge it. It has a female audio jack out if say you wanted some louder speakers to plug in and maybe use it on your nightstand as a small little netflix screen for bedtime.
I got lucky and found mine on clearance at toys'r'us for $2.50. Amazon sells them for a little more.
http://www.amazon.com/PlayStation-Vita-Cradle/dp/B006JKARZS
Does it look like this?

Looks like that would help me tell where my fingers are. I mostly play PS1 classic rpgs and stuff but been thinking about picking up Freedom Wars and a couple other newer games that I think require L2/R2.
I bought this glass screen protector the other day - and it works great Amazon (this is for vita 1000 though)
Case, I just have the official case and it works fine, has storage to hold some games and a mesh wire sleeve to hold cables Amazon
Nyko Power Armor. It's a very slim, hard case, but I don't know if they make it for the slim model.
The top review on Amazon right now says that it will fit the slim "with some work" :
http://www.amazon.com/Nyko-Power-Armor-Vita-Sony-PS/dp/B008J16BAU/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1412101130&sr=8-4&keywords=vita+case
I have a PDP Crystal, it's tough and good looking. Perfect for life in my backpack.
http://www.amazon.com/PSVita-Custom-Crystal-Sony-PS-Vita/dp/B006X0KBY6
I bought this and love it. The d pad is better and my analog sticks have the inward curve with the 4 dots for grip like the 360.

Yes, Gamestop has it available now and on sale for today only:

It's also coming to other stores like Amazon later. see this link
edit: You said "another bundle" - B&H has a listing for a Tearaway one coming next January. I'm not sure if it's a "real" bundle (with different box) or just something B&H cooked up.
I have 2 of those and they're great. Price on Amazon isn't the same as it was before though, so I use one of these too now. http://www.amazon.com/Nyko-Game-Case-Vita-Sony-PS/dp/B007AJZ5PY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1419310272&sr=8-1&keywords=vita+game+case
I bought a Blue and Black Hori before for 5 and 7 bucks each. Now they're going for 20+.
I got the bluecell 14 piece set. From what i can tell they are good quality and they had good reviews. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00G3TV6Q4/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
if you aren't looking to carry games around as well i'm interested in this case. seems like it would be really nice for pocket carrying. no worrying of the screen getting banged up + it's supposedly compact.
I've been using this but it's been sold out apparently since I purchased it. The 3-4 ring grip is extremely helpful with gripping.
The ones you linked, I can't even tell what shape they are unless it's a smooth grip since the picture quality isn't great. If you do have them please take pictures.
>Can you not buy online? I get all my game stuff off Amazon these days...
Now that you mention it, I did find this on Amazon. For some reason I had thought all Amazon had was units ~$200.
Normally I would be all there on buying new too, but the fact that I'll also have to shell out for Sony's absolutely insane memory card prices too has me shopping for the best price. $150 is a little more than I wanted to pay, but being able to get a new unit instead of a used one is worth it, I think.
I just got my Vita a month ago. This is what I have so far:
FFX HD
FFX-2 HD
Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions
Street Fighter 3 Alpha
Mortal Kombat: Unchained (It was $1.24 on the PSN Store)
Rayman Legends
Madden NFL 13
Twisted Metal 2
Dragon's Crown
Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational
Wipeout 2048
God of War: Ghost of Sparta
Dragon Ball Z: BOZ
Rogue Legacy (free with PS+)
CounterSpy (free with PS+)
Ys: Memories of Celceta
They are all pretty solid, I don't dislike any one of them. So far I have been having a blast with Dragon's Crown, and just got Ys.
My Wishlist includes:
Capcom vs Marvel 3
Mortal Kombat (the new one)
Diseaga 4
Persona 4 Golden
Need for Speed: Most Wanted.
As far as accessories, I went nuts. I have the following stuff, and again, I don't regret a single purchase so far:
Butterfox Double Compartment Carry Case
Nyko Power Grip for PS Vita
PlayStation Vita In-ear Headset
32GB PlayStation Vita Memory Card
ArmorSuit MilitaryShield - Playstation Vita Slim
Happy playing!
I bought this one Insten New Trigger Grips Black Compatible With PSVita Playstation Vita PCH-1000 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00QGTJPM8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_jGt0BbB990ASS
It helped me a lot. I can play for longer with out hand pain from awkwardly holding it. I would like a bit larger one but it’s good enough for now
You might have better chance on a subreddit like /r/gameswap
Besides, trading a cradle for Declassified isn't exactly a great trade considering Amazon sells it for $11.70.
I also have big hands. And I use this grip: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GZG8CV2?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00
it's PERFECT.
I had the same problem and once I bought this at Gamestop http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00JYE8L9K?cache=6f9e4a333cbc28d9e1d5481d16d0ec70&pi=SY200_QL40&qid=1407336553&sr=8-16#ref=mp_s_a_1_16 or you can buy it at Amazon, it was a total game changer. It's very comfortable, sleek, and really helps with any type of game especially FPS games.
playstation brand cradle. on sale at amazon. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B006JKARZS I just bought both the grips and this cradle and they work beautifully together all while charging.
I have the Sony brand charging dock for the Vita. It works pretty well and has an audio jack on the back since it covers up the one on the Vita while docked.
Edit: Also, the dock you posted is for the slim Vita.
I just picked one up after looking at the pictures. I have this case already, but it looks pretty clunky when I carry it around.
The differences between the two would obviously be the level of protection and overall style.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B00HLT0YT0/ref=dp_olp_used?ie=UTF8&condition=used
Their prices have been fluctuating, I saw it for $138 and jumped on it, but I also saw it at $145 and now it's $152. Just keep an eye on it I guess, they go in and out of stock pretty often.
I just replaced my OG vita with one. Use Amazon, its safe. I even bought from Sony's Amazon store. Here is a link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00PV515DU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I've had similar issues with a 32GB card. Lost around 30 hours of progress in SAO: Hollow Fragment as well as all my progress in Gravity Rush, WipeOut, and several other games. I've since started backing up games to the cloud, but it's disheartening when you lose so much progress.
As far as cases go, I use one of the hard shell cases with swappable art inserts Gamestop sold a few years ago for the OLED Vita. It has eight spots for Vita game carts and two spots for memory cards, which is pretty neat.
Here's the case: http://i.imgur.com/8hjMIyH.jpg
And on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/PSVita-Custom-Crystal-Sony-PS-Vita/dp/B006X0KBY6
This is the case that I have. I adore it, and I scanned in one of the designs they give you and made it all Dark Souls. Holds a decent amount of cartridges, a couple of memory cards, and is a solid exterior.
I got this carrying case:

And these game cases:

I've got the slim and picked the

I've never actually used a Vita without a grip(bought the grip before I even got it) so I can't give a comparison.
All I can say is I wouldn't play my vita without it. The only drawback is the fact you have to remove it to put new games in(I buy physical if I can)
I passed up the battery grip because I only play it at home, and there are lots of conflicting reports on the battery itself, so just went with CTA.
Just a heads up with buying refurbished vitas:
I've purchased three refurbished vitas- one for myself and two as gifts from Amazon.
Vita #1 came with a 32 GB Memory Card + Burnout Paradise inside of it.
Vita #2 came with a 4 GB Memory Card
Vita #3 also came with a 4 GB Memory Card, and it also came with a custom L and R trigger grip, which I highly recommend if you have larger hands. https://www.amazon.com/Vita-2000-Trigger-Grip-Sony-PSP/dp/B00JYE8L9K
If you're patient, you can get the vita sans any memory cards / accessories and see if it comes with anything neat. On every order I told the seller that it came with extra stuff, but they never cared and told me to keep it.
Oh yeah, that would help the mess of my bedside draws covered in chargers. This one looks more stable so might go with that: http://www.amazon.com/PlayStation-Vita-Cradle/dp/B006JKARZS/ref=sr_1_12?ie=UTF8&qid=1412978515&sr=8-12&keywords=ps+vita+charger
http://www.amazon.com/Borderlands-2-Limited-PlayStation-Vita-Bundle/dp/B00HLT0YT0/ref=sr_1_cc_1?m=A2L77EE7U53NWQ&s=aps&ie=UTF8&qid=1421857600&sr=8-1-catcorr&keywords=ps+vita+borderlands this is the product page, the bl2 bundle is currently unavailable, but if you keep checking you can get a good deal on one.
This PDP Hard Case carries 8 games and 2 memory cards. I have one and I love it. You can customize the cover with your own designs using a template.
Not the one he's talking about:
http://www.amazon.com/Sony-PlayStation-Vita-WiFi/dp/B00PV515DU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1427405926&sr=8-1&keywords=playstation+vita
And no, the internal memory isn't accesible by anything but the system, so you need a memory card.
The Borderlands 2 bundle comes with an 8GB card, which may or may not be enough for you (though apparently the DLC takes up a very large chunk of that). 16GB cards routinely run you $30-$40, 32GB cards are generally around $60-$70, and 64GB cards tend to be around $80-$100.
Yes, those prices are absolutely ridiculous. Welcome to owning a Vita.
I use a tempered glass screen protector and the vault case
Both are perfect
amazon had them yesterday as in stock and shipping, and right now they have them as shipping out on tuesday
http://www.amazon.com/Borderlands-Limited-Edition-PlayStation-Vita-Bundle/dp/B00HLT0YT0/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1410673748&sr=8-2&keywords=playstation+vita
the newer model has better battery life and some internal storage, in addition to the fact that for the same price you are getting the system, the game, and a memory card.
ZTHY Compatible New SP65M Battery... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00OTAZAPC?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Have one in my 1000 works fantastic.
I have these on mine I feel more comfortable using the thumbsticks now http://www.amazon.com/Bluecell-Control-Controller-Joystick-Playstation-Vita/dp/B00G3TV6Q4/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1398709666&sr=8-2&keywords=vita+thumb+grips
Nope, at least not that I can tell. This is my first Persona game ever. I am 25 hours in and feel like there is nothing I am missing.
And if you live in the US it is only $29 on Amazon right now
http://www.amazon.com/Persona-4-Golden-playstation-vita/dp/B007W8S2MG/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1370633590&sr=8-2&keywords=Persona+4
I have these:
https://www.amazon.com/Smatree-Carrying-PlayStation-Accessories-Included/dp/B01JUEWS4W/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?ie=UTF8&qid=1521750678&sr=8-2-spons&keywords=ps+vita+case&psc=1

I use the second one when I'm out of the house, it's slim and will hold 3 games. The first one is mostly for home storage as it keeps my charger and vita headphones in the top. I don't keep games in it, but holds enough. The slim one is a tank and packs well in my bag.
I can imagine a Disney Vita bundle this summer... Or whenever it finally releases. I'm surprised there weren't special bundles for Freedom Wars or Vita Pets. And no new bundles for Holiday 2014... On 12/15/14, we got a barebones Vita release with JUST the system ONLY in Black. http://amzn.com/B00PV515DU ...from the looks of the box it seems like it doesn't even come with a memory card or a single game.
They released it in a multitude of colors in Japan... White, Lime Green/White, Light Blue/White, Light Pink/White, it's sad they didn't bring ANY of those over here yet.
But yeah, a Disney bundle would be cool.... Maybe it'll come with a Special Edition Infinity 2.0 Designed System + Memory Card (16gb, hopefully as it's dropped in price recently and they'll FINALLY bring the 64gb card stateside) + Infinity 2.0 Game + Infinity Base + Exclusive Figures (in addition to Black Suit Spider-Man) + Epic Mickey 2 because why the hell not
So my few suggestions:
-Case: Depending on your needs (travel, storage, etc.) you might want to invest in a case to hold your VITA. I have a case like this I use for my day to day. I also have a hard case I use for long distance travelling.
-Grip: Depending on your hands and what you're playing, the VITA can get uncomfortable after extended play. You can order these grips or other longer handle grips.
That's it from me. Maybe others will have other suggestions.

I can't guarantee that it will protect the screen during a drop since those are designed to take scratches. You can get one of these, dunno if they still have the 1000 version: http://www.amazon.com/HORI-Face-Cover-PlayStation-Vita-2000/dp/B00L6AVPWA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1404630590&sr=8-1&keywords=hori+vita+shell
As for a screen protector, if you're in the US there are really cheap ones on ebay that are less than $5 if you want to save since any screen protector over $5 is a scam really, get more than one to practice with.
For most drops, one of the best protection are those silicone rubber cases since most of those can fit into most cases that are a bit loose. These can protect the sides which is often where the vita might land and will absorb the shock. These can be had cheap on ebay if you're willing to wait a week.
If you're extra worried about dropping it while you wait for the cases, get one of those wrist strap things you see on wiimotes/cameras. You can make your own even with paracord or shoe laces or lanyards.
edit: screen protectors that only cover the screen are both compatible with the 1000 and 2000 models. The ones that cover the entire face don't.
I've got a spare one of the second one (PDP trigger grip). Also a charging dock (like this). Willing to part with them for the cost of shipping to a good home.
I'm "eye-dumb" and want more battery life so "upgraded" to the slim.
I use a dock, and I haven't had any issues, so maybe that's a good recommendation for you? https://www.amazon.com/PlayStation-Vita-Cradle/dp/B006JKARZS
32 GB, $82
16 GB, $47
> how easy is it to transfer the contents of 1 memory stick to the other?
It is long and bothersome, but possible. It can only be done as a complete copy. Backup the card to the PC and restore the second card. Took me 2-3 hours to back up 24 GB.
No need to be so paranoid, amazon has good customer service and you can return it without any hassle n_n it's a lot more secure than getting a used one from someone off craigslist/kijiji at least. Also for the new ones on Amazon.com, the one I got was from Above All Games and they shipped to me in Toronto so see if that works for you? You can try play-asia as well but they're probably a lot more expensive.
You can not use Samsung cards, unless you are below 3.70 and with a special adapter for the card.
You can only use these - https://www.amazon.com/32GB-PlayStation-Vita-Memory-Card/dp/B006JKASCK?th=1
Your referring to this? http://www.amazon.com/Bluecell-Control-Controller-Joystick-Playstation-Vita/dp/B007IDIXBK/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1411613136&sr=8-3&keywords=bluecell+vita+covers
Thanks for the help.
Not sure if this is the 'trigger' case the other guy mentioned but I order this last year and you just slide the vita in to make it a really big controller. It doesn't have the pseudo triggers and it's like the nyko charging handle without the charging aspect https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00GZG8CV2/ref=ya_aw_od_pi?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I bought the PS one. Fits it just fine.
dock
As long as the handles aren't bigger then grips , you should be fine.
I have this one: http://www.amazon.com/PlayStation-Vita-Cradle/dp/B006JKARZS.
It's official, looks good, and works.
I grabbed this one, because I have an IllumiShield for my tablet and it's the only screen protector I've owned that's easy to apply and barely noticeable. Haven't received it yet though.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FZ24MZM/ref=od_aui_detailpages00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I'd suggest not selling it, and instead buying a new battery instead. There is plenty of them out there and they are cheap and easy to replace.
Go to this website: http://www.amazon.com/ZTHY-Playstation-PCH-1001-PCH-1101-SP65M/dp/B00OTAZAPC/ref=br_lf_m_pke5msvjnddx7xv_1_1_ttl?ie=UTF8&s=pc
So i just recently replaced my vita oled 1001. In my research I haven't seen anything different about the batteries. Just different batteries for the 1000 and 2000 model.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00OTAZAPC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09__o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
This is the battery I purchased. Been using it a lot. Looks almost identical to the original battery. Took 10 minutes to replace and works great def recommend. No issue with vita memory card I believe the Sony cards have an issue degrading over time which is most likely the issue. Don't think the battery would make a difference.
Why does it show up like that? Here is the non-weird version in case you guys wanted it.
Something like this, except when they actually have it in stock it lets you ship to an out of country address with Global. They even knock off some of the price of the actual item to account for shipping.
I personally use these cases. I have around 11 of them and if you take out the memory card holder, these cases can fit 10 games.

I've been considering these: dreamGEAR Comfort Grip for PlayStation Vita Slim (PCH-2000) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KE6DCFU/ref=cm_sw_r_other_awd_ZCfOwbBHNBTEZ

The amazon price is pretty fluid lately. Price was ~$60 but right after xmas it went up to $82. It came down a few days later and I purchased mine at $64 again. I see its up at $86 again.

Amazon has them brand new, not discounted though, through Sony's Amazon account. https://www.amazon.com/Sony-PlayStation-Vita-WiFi/dp/B00PV515DU/ref=sr_1_1?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1479944065&sr=1-1&keywords=ps+vita

I like the look of the case. It says it comes with five different colors? The pic I see of them shows full-blown images from different games. No option for a solid color? http://www.amazon.com/PSVita-Custom-Crystal-Sony-PS-Vita/dp/B006X0KBY6
If you dont mind used/preowned/refurbished try craigslist or amazon warehouse. Older version or newer version. Also some games
I have this one https://www.amazon.co.uk/Protector-Akwox-Tempered-Protective-PlayStation/dp/B01GYPB1HU, £6 from Amazon and you get a spare. I didn't bother with a rear touch pad protector.
> Well, stability patches are still coming, and BL2 bundle is still selling...
I think the BL2 bundle is done and has since been replaced.
Dude, Amazon UK sells them for £14
Did you even look around the web?

This vita cradle? If so then i'm not sure if its trade value is quite that of a full game.
Ah, good point. My apologies.

I was concerned with the battery on the vita and having the Nyko being always plugged in. So i opted for a cheaper version without the backup battery. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GZG8CV2/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
they are very basic hold the vita in nicely. Takes a lot of the stress off my hands when playing for longer periods of time.

It's actually been at that price on Amazon for several months now.

There are no Bootleg or fake vita memory cards.

Amazon Japan is your best option. $55 usd shipped. They ship priority international. Usually takes under a week. You'll get a newly manufactured brand new card.
Thank you so much! I live in Toronto so I doubt I'll find a small EB store :(
Currently, I'm thinking of getting one from Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/Sony-PlayStation-Vita-WiFi/dp/B00PV515DU%3Fpsc%3D1%26SubscriptionId%3DAKIAICE7LOAJMK3SSLPA%26tag%3Dpcm_buyitnow-20%26linkCode%3Dxm2%26camp%3D2025%26creative%3D165953%26creativeASIN%3DB00PV515DU%26ascsubtag%3Dfffe3d84-b13c-469e-a9db-33667f6e6361). Is this the right one (i.e. the newest Vita that is compatible with all the games)?
I bought this for $5. I mean it looks fine and all but I don't know how many people have that stuff laying around.

Lol wut "1000 bucks"
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B006JKARZS/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_TaUUtb1CC2VKT
These are new and in box, I think.
Hmm in stock (with Prime) on USA amazon.
Vita uses special memory cards, so you'll have to buy it. And it's not cheap.
http://www.amazon.com/32GB-PlayStation-Vita-Memory-Card/dp/B006JKASCK/ref=pd_sim_vg_2
A few bucks cheaper
What if I told you, you could get 32gb cards on Amazon for 80bucks.
I would also suggest immediately buying the 32GB card from Amazon (on sale for $59.99 right now).
Non-mobile link.
If you store them in a game case like this then you could probably stick a small sticker near it as a label.
I have 3 16GBs and a 4GB card so my method is to just try and remember what's on them, and swap until I get the right one
You can get two similar for $15 less:
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B007H4YXJG/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_HaDVub0P0ZQAM
Or this one:
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B007AJZ5PY/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_3cDVub14P45JT
Depends which ones you buy, I guess. There are these ones which are plastic and these ones which are silicone.
http://www.amazon.com/Bluecell-Control-Controller-Joystick-Playstation-Vita/dp/B007IDIXBK
Get these, sand down he surface to bind them to the caps and you'll have your own pair of removable thumbsticks (this is what I did).
It's $20 right now for the NA version.

That's what occurred to me when it was first listed, but after checking, many of their listings for retail releases had the same logo on the box art: http://www.amazon.com/Persona-4-Golden-PlayStation-Vita/dp/B007W8S2MG/ref=lp_4924899011_1_2?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1406582872&sr=1-2
Hm? [Amazon] (http://www.amazon.com/Persona-4-Golden-PlayStation-Vita/dp/B007W8S2MG) or GameStop has it $20 exactly.
http://www.amazon.com/Persona-4-Golden-PlayStation-Vita/dp/B007W8S2MG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1410466280&sr=8-1&keywords=persona+4+golden
You don't need to know anything else.
It's actually on sale for 14$ on amazon.ca. Just stumbled across it. http://www.amazon.ca/Persona-Golden-PlayStation-Vita-Standard/dp/B007W8S2MG/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1418844880&sr=8-6&keywords=vita+memory+card
According to the pictures on Amazon Persona 4 Golden requires a memory card as well as all the PS + games I would go with the 16GB or the 32GB. The 8GB will only hold a few of the PS+ games. I can only get Uncharted Gravity Rush and PS All Stars on my 8GB before the vita starts telling me I'm low on space
I have this on my vita at all times. It really adds the experience for me.
I'm getting the new bundle through Gamestop. It's cheaper. The one I saw on Amazon is 43 bucks more (Prime) than GameStop's $200.
Amazon.
