edit: Sorry, reread and noticed you probably were asking about a net system, not a net. We have an old Senoh (Sports Imports) as that was the top of the line at the time. Not sure about now.

We ordered two nets last year from a no-name brand. The top cable snapped the first time we put it up.

I looked earlier this season for nets on Amazon. The only one I could find was this one from Champion Sports:

https://www.amazon.com/Champion-Sports-Official-Olympic-Volleyball/dp/B000LY0NLG/ref=sr_1_8?s=sports-and-fitness&ie=UTF8&qid=1473186910&sr=1-8&keywords=volleyball+nets

Note that it ships in 1-3 months.

We wound up ordering Senoh net for $400. Yeah, ouch.

I wear these [Asics] (https://www.amazon.com/ASICS-GEL-Domain-Volleyball-Black-White/dp/B0031Y6ETI/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1485193519&sr=8-3&keywords=asics+gel+domain+2), very comfortable.

I also have a pair of UA shoes, might be these. Less comfortable because they're tight/narrow, but because they're higher I feel more support

Get a Gripmaster and start using it, both hands. I used to sprain a thumb every week before I got one, and now I haven't sprained any finger in over a year. You can use it while watching TV or in class, it's pretty awesome.

Nice! Thank you so much for your help, I'll try to find those models in my city and I think I'll get this one until I find the ones you told me https://www.amazon.es/gp/aw/d/B00B27PQ0E/ref=pd_aw_sim_sbs_200_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=79FPFA43GBGS57HFGVV6&dpPl=1&dpID=41fBr%2B-ofML

Keep the ball you have for outdoors.

Everyone who I played with loves the HS game balls since they feel the best link

But those balls don't last at all. If you're looking for longevity, get a composite ball link No one really had a problem with these since teams practice with them all the time.

the international balls were never popular wherever I played

the college balls were okay too.

I rock a 10.5 2e size. But the harden vol 1 have been in an 11 have been the best shoe I've ever played in.

Keep practicing.

It's no replacement for a real court, but this silly cord for the ball helped me improve my swing at home. I just use it in my garage since its winter. I only get to play once a week, so being able to practice at home helped a lot.

Adidas Crazy Flight, I've had some jumpers knee issues in the past. These to me come off as having a really soft landing. I'm sure there's some loss of vertical, but it's better then not playing at all.

Given, I say this knowing that I lift, stretch, and take measures to ensure my knee and leg health.

I recently purchased this for all the indoor volleyball I'm playing this fall. It's great! Fits a ball, size 8 shoes (with plenty of room to spare), and some towels and clothes.

u/rybob42 · 1 pointr/volleyball

Buy them and wear them. I used to think bruises and such were a badge of honor, but as I get older, I want to preserve my body so I can play more and play longer. I unabashedly wear kneepads and football shorts, and knee and ankle braces when I'm sore.

I bought these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01FAOHC2Y/ and like them.

This. At one point I had a impingement in my shoulder (yes a vaguely generic diagnosis, but I knew it wasn’t anything serious like a tear) and baseball related band work did wonders.

Basically my rear delts were too weak compared to my front delts/pecs. The rear delts were working overtime to counter-balance my chest. Stretching out my chest and strengthening my delts pretty much made all pain disappear. Also I started using one of these to work out the knots in my back since foam rolling your back is pretty impossible.

Right here!! These are great

We use the elastic bands here in upstate new York. I thought everyone did. You guys are crazy for spraying lines! How would the elastic be dangerous?

EDIT: Here are some pictures I took of the elastic band we use.

u/[deleted] · 1 pointr/volleyball

This is what I use. Yes, they are cheap, but they do the job quite well. They stay in place like no other pair I had, and they're polarized.

u/harrooo · 1 pointr/volleyball

I meant I've been through multiple pairs. I'm on my 3rd in 3 years now :)

Oh and I should've mentioned that I do use a foam roller as well. I use the rumble roller: http://www.amazon.com/Dennis-Stubblefield-Sales-STI-Rumble/dp/B004JBT2FU
