I assume your friend got this costume . I wanted to get it for halloween but my wife vetoed me dressing up as a big dog (she didn't watch the show). Instead I will be dressing up as a Scottish Highlander as she loves the show Outlander. Yes, I am whipped.

I'm just over 6'2" and 220lbs. I got a size 3xl and it fits me fine, though the sleeves go up on my arms a bit. The reviews are also accurate in the fact that when you try to sit down, the material on the back gets a bit stretched. Now I just need to find gloves!
