Here's the breakdown as I see it:

Barring getting a blacksmith to make you you the real deal for thousands and thousands of dollars, the best you could do would be to buy this guy's handmade replicas: He doesn't always have ebay auctions up though, and some times his work will turn up for sale elsewhere.

EDIT: Aaron of Fiberglass Blades is stopping production so that he can move on to bigger and better things. There will be a few auctions for what remains of his inventory this year, but don't expect to pay less than $1000 a piece for each item.

If you are looking for the cheaper mass produced kinds, there are still several to pick from, and even then you need to decide if what you want is more for display or if you actually intend to carry it. None of these are combat safe in any way, but some still are better than others.

A disclaimer about these links: all of these can be found from multiple sellers at multiple prices, so do your shopping! I'm using amazon for picture purposes.

The best one for display in my opinion is this one here. The hilt and blade look fantastic, and it comes with a plaque. It is not good for swinging though; it is very heavy and is most likely not full tang, aka the blade does not continue into the hilt. That said, it is a beautiful piece for the price, and I have one on my wall. It seems to be based off of a mixture of the Link to the Past and Twilight Princess Master Sword designs, as it has barbs, but is not blue in color. There are newer versions of this same sword modeled after the blue master sword and a Dark Link Variant, but I avoided the former because I don't like how the entire handle is one shade of blue. That's your call.

Next up is this one, which is probably the most common. The blade is long, but does not have that awesome shape that the above one does. In my opinion, it does not look as much like the master sword as it ought. The upside to this though it that the sheathe is the best one going in terms of mass produced pieces. I am cosplaying as link at Otakon this weekend, and will be using the sheathe from this sword, attached to this belt that was basically made for this model.

The sword I will be using is this one. I know what you are thinking. Foam? Really? Yes. This is a relatively new product and is of far better quality than I could have expected or even hoped for. It is cosplay safe, light, and the best shape/size/detail/quality replica I have found for the price. if you plan on carrying one without getting arrested, this is the one.

There is another master sword replica out there that you need should watch out for. this one looks very similar to the second one above, but you will notice the blade looks mildly different in the photos. In truth, this one is far smaller than the above one, and is also sharp as hell. Can not recommend. Check the details like blade length and width before buying.

As for the shields, there are thankfully fewer options. As mentioned above, Fiberglassblades makes an amazing one, but it's super expensive. I'd like to own his shield and sword one day, but it will not be anytime soon.

Your mass produced choices as far as I can see are this one or this one

I have the first one, and it is a decent replica for the price. It is set to be held in your left hand, though you can remove the handle, so I expect you could modify it for more accurate use. It is also ready to be hung on a wall, and looks quite nice while doing so. Older models are more flat, while newer models are more curved like traditional shields (unless mine is just warped.) The Downsides are that the strap and handle are rather flimsy. I have reinforced the one I'm using this weekend by making my own leather strap and super gluing the handle in place. This will sadly prevent me from using this shield as a display, but I have an older model for that.

As for the second one, it looks to be a newer version of an earlier and different model. I don't have experience with it, but from what I can tell it seems to be a high quality replica. That said, the model I believe it is based on was not able to be hung on a wall, had the triforce crooked, had the bird painted on and not embossed, and could only be used in your right hand. Perhaps this is why they are pushing this new version. If you get this one, please let me know how it is, because I must say it looks good from the photos.

EDIT: Another user has reported to me that this model still has the issues I had with the earlier version. Neither the Crimson Loftwing nor the Triforce are guaranteed to be accurately placed. This may vary from shield to shield, so buyer beware.

PHEW! Hope that helps!

I really don't think that Ocarina's 'biggest' fans underrate it. Anyways, here let me pick apart this article I disagree with:

>Ocarina doesn’t need perfect controls or intense boss fights to be fantastic.

I'd say most gamers would call bullshit on this.

>the way Link smiles when he learns a new song

No he actually looks quite disgusted.

>Minor characters like Grog are completely fascinating, and the game’s world feels fleshed out and real.

I would totally argue against this. Ocarina had a couple of neat npc's which attention to detail but attention to detail throughout the whole game was pretty inconsistent and Grog wasn't nearly that facsinating as he doesn't do much. Every other game after Ocarina, ESPECIALLY Majora's Mask, The Wind Waker, and Skyward Sword had significantly more interesting npc's and a real fleshed out world. Ocarina's world does not feel 'real' to me.

>Spectacular games are allowed to be flawed.

"The game can have lots of flaws and be poorly designed in many ares (As mentioned before in the article itself!) but when I have rose-colored nostalgia glasses on, the game is simply spectacular)

>Yes, Ocarina‘s Z-targeting sometimes sucked, and yes, its puzzles weren’t as good as they could have been. That doesn’t mean the game wasn’t fantastic

Okay so this is just terrible writing. You never argue against your own point. And the only puzzles in Ocarina that weren't totally mind-numbing to anyone above the age of 8 had solutions that no one would think of, and are frustrating to play through.

>Some games have no room for missteps, but Ocarina of Time isn’t one of them.

I'm noticing a theme here, which is "Ocarina of Time has a bunch of big flaws but the game is better than all the others anyways". I don't think the writer is holding other games to the same standard as Ocarina of Time, because the games that have no room for missteps should be the spectacular fantastic timeless masterpieces. By saying otherwise, the writer is essentially saying that if a game is popular it doesn't have to be as good as or worked on as hard as games that are less popular.

>When I think about my time with Ocarina, I don’t think about the frustrations of the Water Temple. I think about dancing Gorons and riding Epona for the very first time.

"When I think about Ocarina, I deny that poorly designed parts of it even exist (unless I'm writing an article about the poorly designed points and why that means it's a great game) and replace it with nostalgia."

>If you truly appreciate Ocarina, you have to accept that the game can afford a few flaws.

This is another big no-no in writing. It's like when a manipulative girlfriend says something like, "If you really love me then you'll buy me really expensive things". No, I can appreciate Ocarina, accepting the game's flaws, and still acknowledging that it wasn't as perfect as most people generally make it out to be.

All in all, this article is complete shit. It's victim to bad writing, extreme opinionization even with the nature of the topic, and false logic. I will point out here that I love Ocarina of Time. It has a special place in my heart and I think the game is fantastic and innovative and when I think about parts of it or play through it again memories and nostalgia flood through me, but I think that letting a high personal opinion of the game stop you from being able to judge the game for what it is, or even view the game objectively.

Well, it looks like the Link on the mug is also in the style of Wind Waker's Link, so I still vote for that if it came down to these two options :)

You could get her an ocarina. Or you could pre-order Hyrule Historia. It won't come out until January, but it should be a great gift for any fan--it's a book with art and trivia about Zelda. Or perhaps a Zelda T-shirt. There's also this shirt with hearts. I personally love this shirt as well.

Or you could get Zelda-themed jewelry or a tote bag. Here's one bag, and here are some Triforce earrings.

Hope that helps!

Only certain models of Wii can play Gamecube games...Nintendo discontinued the backwards compatibility feature in later Wii models. If your Wii can play GC games, you should try to track down the special collector's edition disc with both original NES Zelda games, Ocarina of Time, and Majora's Mask all in one (https://www.amazon.com/Legend-Zelda-Collectors-Adventure-Ocarina-Majoras/dp/B0007W5IUS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1501535879&sr=8-1&keywords=zelda+gamecube).

Wind Waker was also released on the GC originally. I personally didn't like it but I'm in the minority of fans there.

Twilight Princess can be played either as a Wii version or a GC version...I honestly don't have particularly strong preferences either way but I hightly recommend TP regardless of which version you want to play.

Skyward Sword is the only pure Wii Zelda title. I personally didn't like it but you might feel differently. It's a pretty divisive game on this sub.

Don't worry about what order to play them in. The Zelda games don't really have any overarching chronology that impacts the games in a meaningful way. Every game is basically its own separate story with a few minor shoutouts to other titles.

u/TypicalTyrian · 2 pointsr/zelda

I highly recommend you play the original ocarina of time(n64 edition). Something about playing it with the n64 controller just makes the experience awesome(you can get usb n64 controllers on amazon for like $20). It is regarded by many(including me) as the best game in the series. The rest of the series is also fantastic and I recommend you check out as many LoZ titles as you can.

Edit: He is the controller I was talking about:

http://www.amazon.com/Retrolink-Nintendo-64-Classic-Enabled-Controller/dp/B008L3UUPS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1408842741&sr=8-1&keywords=n64+usb+controller

I highly recommend it. I use mine all the time and it really brings back the nostalgia of the n64 days.

u/GabeDeGrasseDawkins · 7 pointsr/zelda

Instead of opining on which version of TP is best, how about I give you what I feel are the strengths of the GCN and the Wii versions and from this information you can make an educated choice as to which better suits you?

---
GAMECUBE VERSION:

  • There's a Web site called GameRankings, which averages review scores and is respected as an authority by Guinness World Records. On this site, the GCN edition is more highly rated than the Wii edition; the former has a rating of 96 while the latter has a rating of 94.58. The critical hivemind thus considers GCN TP to be slightly better than Wii TP.

  • The sword controls are more solid and less gimmicky. I had more fun with swordplay in the GCN TP than I did in any other Zelda game. On the Wii, to swing the sword you swing the Wiimote. In my view this did not feel intuitive but shoehorned, and it sometimes did not work when executing the Hidden Skills.

  • Hyrule is properly oriented. To make Link right-handed, the Wii version flips the whole world of Hyrule on the x axis. I disagree with this for two reasons. First, the locations of Hyrulean places are inconsistent with their locations in other Zelda games. Second, this introduces a number of unresolved curiosities, such as the one where the sun rises in the west and sets in the east (?!).

  • The game can be completed more quickly by speedrunners. This probably doesn't matter unless you are a speedrunner or intend to speedrun the game sometime in the future.

  • There's modware called Action Replay (AR), which changes game offsets and is marketed as a cheat device. As the GCN AR has been around the longest, the AR community has discovered more codes for the GCN TP.

  • The GCN TP does not have the Shad glitch. Essentially, if you save and quit in a specific area of the Wii TP, a character named Shad disappears. Because talking to Shad is necessary to advance the plot, it becomes impossible to advance your file without special external fixes.

  • The player has more control over the camera. This can be a blessing if you're big on exploration, a quality for which the Zelda series is known.

    ---

    WII VERSION:

  • The Wii TP can render in the 16:9 aspect ratio. This makes for a better picture on a standard HDTV.

  • You have two additional item buttons. On the GCN edition, items are assigned to the bean-shaped X and Y buttons and the sword is mapped to B. On the Wii edition, items are assigned to three of the four cardinal directions on the directional pad. The Wii TP maps the sword to the motions of the Wiimote, which further frees up B. With more item buttons you can do more actions in less time.

  • There are items and parts of the game which require you to aim. Not only are the controls for these parts better on the Wii version, but for some of them you can move while aiming. This isn't possible on GCN.

  • The Wii TP is cheaper. On Amazon, the GCN TP sells at a price over 3× that of the Wii TP.

    ---

In addition to this, there are minor differences that are neither good nor bad. For example, the Wii version features a fairy that functions as a targeting reticule. I won't bother to comprehensively list these.

Hopefully you'll find this list to be of use.

My wife got that sword for me for Christmas off of Amazon. Mine didn't come with the hooks to hold it for some reason but we managed to get it attached. It is definitely very nice, I'm not normally a sword collector but this was amazing and looks great in our house. If you have the cash I recommend buying it.

EDIT: Link to Amazon, maybe they are cheaper: http://www.amazon.com/Zelda-Video-Princess-Links-Master/dp/B0058EEF2M/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1334929742&sr=8-4

u/BootyByHershey · 3 pointsr/zelda

It's so simple! This was my first crack at it and I'm really pleased with how they turned out. I've since made a Jack Skelligton coaster for work, a big Majora's Mask that I'm going to hang up at home, an 8 bit heart "box", and several Doctor Who themed items for friends and for the exchange, so I think I'm getting the hang of it now!

Here's what I told the person above who asked about getting started... feel free to ask any questions, I'd be happy to answer them :-)

The beads are called fuse beads, you can get a big container of them for $14 on [Amazon] (http://www.amazon.com/Perler-Beads-11-000-Count-Multi-Mix/dp/B0002YM0H0/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1369068614&sr=8-2&keywords=fuse+beads), I actually went one bigger and bought the [22K] (http://www.amazon.com/Perler-Beads-Count-Multi-Mix-Colors/dp/B000ZDME7Y/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1369068614&sr=8-5&keywords=fuse+beads) container for $19. You'll also need a set of [these] (http://www.amazon.com/Perler-Beads-Clear-Square-Pegboards/dp/B005HZ35FK/ref=pd_sim_t_2), I bought this 4 pack so I could make more at once since they take a little while to cool once you've ironed them, but a [two pack] (http://www.amazon.com/Perler-Beads-Large-Square-Pegboards/dp/B000O5HGI0/ref=pd_bxgy_t_text_y) would be suffecient. As to how, I google searched for "8 bit Zelda" and found most of them the items that way and designed a few others myself... once you have them item sorted out, just build the square around it and you're all ready to iron! It was really simple, just time consuming. If you want, I can email you pictures of each one and you can just copy mine!! The only thing you have to do that isn't completely obvious from looking at the pictures is to glue a square of felt to the bottom to keep mosture from getting on your table. You can grab decent size pieces of felt from Walmart for 15 cents a piece :-)

> if possible on the original hardware

I'd like to make a slight argument here: if you have a backwards-compatible Wii with component/RGB/YPbPr hookups, it might be a good idea to consider playing the Collector's Edition version of Ocarina of Time for GameCube over the original N64 version due to the increased picture clarity. It's the same game as the N64 version, and plays much more accurately than if you used a third-party emulator on PC or something. On the other hand, that version has slightly longer loading times when going to new areas or opening/closing the menu since it's reading from a disc instead of a cartridge, which might make a certain infamous dungeon even more frustrating since you're constantly taking trips to and from the menu there (for reasons I will not spoil here).

Majora's Mask is best left to the N64, though; the Collector's Edition version has some minor framerate drops, and I've read that there was a random freezing bug (I've never experienced it myself, but they say it happens more often if you're using the game's rumble feature, which I never did).

I definitely wouldn't recommend using an emulator like Project64 or Mupen though, at least for a first-time experience; those emulators work pretty well, but they also have some graphical weirdness, the joystick mapping feels slightly off no matter what settings/controller you use, and experience is just not quite the same...

Oh, and Zelda 1 and 2 are also fine on that disc, with some benefits over the NES originals: higher resolution, no fighting with getting 30-year-old hardware to read the old carts without errors, the ability to switch to another memory card if you want more than 3 saves, and maybe a few more things I'm forgetting. A GameCube controller is also arguably more comfortable than an NES controller, if that matters... ;)

u/NickyXIII · 3 pointsr/zelda

I recently bought the box set of the Manga. I've only read the two Ocarina of Time books, but he isn't a snarky wiseguy in those. Far from it, in fact. There are moments where he has a playful rivalry with Mido, but that is as close as it gets.

Edit: Also, if you like retellings with differences in plot points (mainly, if you can divorce yourself from the original) and you enjoy manga, I would recommend picking them up. I'm not a huge manga person and I'm sure that there are better manga out there, but I enjoyed the ones I have read so far.

An example of needing to divorce yourself: Volvagia is purchased by Link as a child in Hyrule Market, and subsequently set free. Link then has to make the tough choice to kill Volvagia in the fire temple because he has been cursed

u/Evadrepus · 1 pointr/zelda

If you're still looking, this is the one I got for Christmas. I picked it out after spending some time looking for an inexpensive one. I'm pretty satisfied with it. Like the reviews state, the painting on the gem is more than a little sloppy. I will be doing a minor repaint on it but otherwise I'm very pleased with it. It's huge, heavy, and looks great (aside from the slightly sloppy painting). The enamel gold paint cost me $10, which still makes this very economical.

u/802dot11_Gangsta · 1 pointr/zelda

I'm absolutely with you on the emulation aspect. Nostalgia-goggles are really the only reason you'd want to play it at a lower fidelity.

Having one of these helps too - http://www.amazon.com/Retrolink-Nintendo-64-Classic-Enabled-Controller/dp/B008L3UUPS

I say this as having bought it the day it came out for the 3DS, and would suggest like someone has already mentioned that if you're going to play it on a 3DS (The 3D aspect isn't distracting and the graphics have been improved somewhat) that you definitely play it on the XL. If you have a 3DS, and want to play it on the go, it's great... but whether it's 40$ great when you can emulate it just fine is a question you'll have to answer yourself.

u/monkerbus · 1 pointr/zelda

Looks like they touched up this. Pretty cheap and awesome replica. Best one I've ever seen that you can easily buy.

u/TheNormalMan · 1 pointr/zelda

These are great! For those that want a physical copy, Amazon has a really cheap official box set of the ones by Akira Himekawa. From what I remember, it is a pretty good translation. :)

u/Veetor · 1 pointr/zelda

Haha, awesome.

I'm very jealous of you playing The Wind Waker, I'd love to play through it again right now, but I'm desperately trying to hold off playing it until the HD release comes in October. Just two months and a bit to gooooo. I can't blimming wait, if you'll excuse my French.

Sounds sad to say, but I've not been into the handheld console lark for a while now, and I'm not sure how comfortable I am walking about London with that kind of kit on display. :P I am tempted though, Nintendo know how to make good handheld games.

The video cable? What do you mean by that? Like the top screen detached or something? That's what happened to mine when it was dropped. But the screen still works, barely- it's just very loose.

Ah man, I'm using the word jealous a lot here. But I'm very jealous that you've got the Collector's Edition on the Gamecube. I'd love that. I suppose they're not that expensive so maybe I'm just being a cheapskate.

Something I'm really considering picking up is the 'The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Historia'. It makes me fuzzy just thinking about it, and I've heard great things. The last time I looked it was £16 and it's now £21, so I might be better off getting it now rather than later. It would be a perfect Christmas present from someone though, so I'll wait and see, perhaps regrettably. Or maybe I won't, depends how much I'm craving some LoZ next time I think about it.

Oo-er.

u/Asiavision · 2 pointsr/zelda

To better understand the timeline and the general universe of LoZ I definitely recommend picking up the Hyrule Historia. Its a compilation book done after Skyward Sword and it depicts the original timeline and how it works within each game so far. It even touches on the Hero's Shade in Twilight's Princess. I really love the book and it's so well put together. I have beside me, so if there is any specific questions I can try to answer them that haven't already been touched on so far.

Edit: I forgot to provide a link to the book. Amazon.com

u/DontWorryAboutIt00 · 7 pointsr/zelda

Thanks. I got the original on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00C9Q8HTE/ref=sxts1?ie=UTF8&qid=1494527737&sr=1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65 So I got it and I got a Purple glitter Spray paint, a green paint pen, some gold paint and some silver paint. I just covered the top of the blade in tape so it doesnt get painted, and I spray painted the whole top with the purple paint. I waited for it to dry and then used the paint pen to do the lacing around the handle and used the gold and silver with a small brush to get those other spots. Was pretty easy overall

u/DrFisharoo · 3 pointsr/zelda

Tablets can just use an app. On computer, there are plenty of N64 emulators(I prefer Project64) that are as difficult as installing anything else on your computer(download installer, open, click next a few times, done). Also on computer you can use a Xbox 360 controller(need an adapter, but its not that much money and its really a great thing to have if you're a gamer in general for things like steam), PS3(with some drivers, kinda a pain), I think Ps4/XBone(either now or eventually) or you can buy a N64 controller that plugs in with USB for like $15.

u/RaidenTombs · 1 pointr/zelda

I was going to order the guidebook for $30 ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1911015486/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ) but Amazon didn't even ship it for three weeks. So I chatted with support the other day who told me it never shipped because of a technical error. So I followed their directions and reordered three days ago and they upgraded me to one day shipping. However, I still have not received any update on the order and I am so confused. Has anyone ordered this book and had it actually get delivered? Also, at this point should I even get the book? I'm not very far into the game and playing slow, and I think I would find it useful for info about the game, not necessarily solutions to Shrines. Plus I like collecting.

u/Leibz · 3 pointsr/zelda

I believe that one is: http://www.amazon.com/12-Hole-Ocarina-Legend-Zelda/dp/B0018GR9VI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1323134136&sr=8-1.

It looks really nice, but I'm not sure if I could shell out 85 dollars on an ocarina. I'm pretty satisfied playing them on my flute though.

Of course! I started by ordering just a big container of perler beads from amazon, but I also bought these interlocking boards that really helped to do bigger patterns.

https://www.amazon.com/Perler-80-22666-Square-Pegboard-Pieces/dp/B005HZ35FK

Individual ones are fine for most patterns but I had to interlock them for the topper. (Which make sure you have lots of black and yellow! I had to order more). But all you gotta do is just google "Zelda perler" or you can do "Link to the Past perlers" and you can just look at ones other people have done so I didn't need a proper pattern for it, but there are some patterns too when you google it :)

It's the map that comes in the Creating a Champion Hero's Edition. It's amazing!

I'm not sure how far out you're willing to go, but I'd bet she'd love the bundle:

[EDIT: More ideas]

Does she play a musical instrument? How about an ocarina with a Zelda music booklet?

Also found a few neat results for "navi necklace zelda" on Google images.

There's a huge map of Hyrule in the Hero's Edition of the book Creating a Champion.

u/powerlinestandingout · 4 pointsr/zelda

Look on Etsy lots of custom made stuff. Hyrule Hystoria is a pretty good book for any fan.

If it's the manga you're looking for,

http://www.amazon.com/Legend-Zelda-Box-Set/dp/1421542420/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1320023635&sr=8-1

If it's the original Legend of Zelda comic you're looking for (based on the first two games), they've been out of print since 1993. (I'm guessing this may be the one you're looking for based on the number of volumes that were released). eBay and similar sites would be the best way of collecting them.

u/jamaal17 · 1 pointr/zelda

You can always buy one of these if you want to use the original controller. I picked one up on craigslist for 5 bucks. Great decision.

u/tunzor · 1 pointr/zelda

If you have the original N64 controllers, something like this should suffice.
N64 USB Adapter

I have one and it seems to do the job nicely.

u/sclark89 · 2 pointsr/zelda

I bought this one. I think it looks pretty good. The hilt is a bit too blue, I think, and lacking some of the finer details. I intend on eventually painting it to look authentic. It's hanging on my wall right now. I wouldn't ever buy this one with the intention of using it as a real sword though as the hilt is just a metal casing snapped around it fairly insecurely.

I'm still in the market for a good Hylian shield replica that doesn't have a bird with two tails.

u/Bob-B1 · 3 pointsr/zelda

Hyrule Historia. Great book for reasonably cheap, a real collectors item and essential to understanding Zelda timelines, previous games and lore.

Hyrule Historia Amazon Link

u/xXFatesXx · 4 pointsr/zelda

I'm the same way with A Link to the Past. I recommend this. Every Zelda fan should have it. Worth EVERY penny.

u/Senorginger64 · 2 pointsr/zelda

Because of the way the the sword is designed there is a slim to none chance that you will find a full tang because the handle is so slim compared to the blade. the best one I could find was at amazon http://www.amazon.com/Zelda-Video-Princess-Links-Master/dp/B0058EEF2M/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top
one guy makes his own out of Fiber glass I believe and they're really well done but over the top expensive

u/72_Hours_Remain · 1 pointr/zelda

I have a 12 hole, it is amazing. I've been working on the Clocktown theme.
[Pic] (http://imgur.com/CoHgu) I got it off Amazon for $85. here is the link [Amazon] (http://www.amazon.com/Hole-Ocarina-From-Legend-Zelda/dp/B0018GR9VI)

u/thedarklord187 · 5 pointsr/zelda

Anyone happen to have bought this ? If so did you find it worth the $30 price tag was it actually useful?

u/Rynelan · 6 pointsr/zelda

Think I found it.

http://www.amazon.com/Legend-Zelda-Box-Set/dp/1421542420/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1324942014&sr=1-1

I'll wait with the order, there is a big chance that that friend of mine bought me a few :P

u/mnkyman · 2 pointsr/zelda

I bought an N64-to-USB adapter found here. It works perfectly with project 64.

u/redshirt55 · 3 pointsr/zelda

http://www.amazon.com/Zelda-Video-Princess-Links-Master/dp/B0058EEF2M/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1323378075&sr=8-2

This one is really awesome. It's a perfect match for the Twilight Princess master sword, but for some reason the hilt is black with a red gem instead of blue with gold. (I think it's supposed to be Shadow Link's or something). I remember seeing a blue version once, but I can't find it.

u/Grant638 · 1 pointr/zelda

I think they may be one of a kind, sorry pal. Amazon has some really nice ones though, specifically this one.

u/darthbane87 · 1 pointr/zelda

IT'S UP ON AMAZON US!!!

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Master Edition - Switch https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MT8SWKC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_a2iEybXQGJ4BE

u/FakeDjinn · 4 pointsr/zelda

You mean this? The GBP price is a bit higher (thanks, brexit voters!) but that's still not a bad deal!

u/1Avion1 · 1 pointr/zelda

That's a different ocarina. This is the one I bought, and it got good reviews.

u/awchern · 1 pointr/zelda

According to Amazon...upwards $100. Same for eBay prices.

I got lucky with a game store near where I live. Managed to get it for $45.

u/RandomPhil86 · 4 pointsr/zelda

Spain

Spanish ? Does that help ..

u/Paradox1028 · 5 pointsr/zelda

Hyrule Historia contains the timelines as well as a lot of things from Zelda lore. Here's a link.

u/TanBurn · 1 pointr/zelda

i know exactly how you feel, buy your self this http://www.amazon.com/The-Legend-Zelda-Hyrule-Historia/dp/1616550414 and dream of being link every night.

u/dat_face · 2 pointsr/zelda

I'm surprised you don't have the Manga comics...

u/Harddaysnight1990 · 1 pointr/zelda

That's really cool, but if it were me, I would've gotten this one instead.

u/Mowseler · 1 pointr/zelda

It's up on Amazon! HERE (The listing says Wii U, but just double checked the order and it says Switch).

u/DrinkingAndDeriving · 3 pointsr/zelda

It's worth noting too that this is the official timeline, found in the Hyrule Historia, not a fan interpretation.

u/Kafke · 0 pointsr/zelda

Edit: cleaned up the link.

u/mak9377 · 3 pointsr/zelda

They are from amazon.com. :P Here is a link(no pun intended) for you.

u/MrBison123 · 1 pointr/zelda

Hyrule Historia or the Manga boxset?
I own both, they are really well-written.

u/glupingane · 3 pointsr/zelda

Here. Took me a while 8 seconds to find that.

u/cloggedDrain · 1 pointr/zelda

It is starting to become rare. Used copies are selling for higher than retail. it is still on amazon though.

u/JWylie15 · 2 pointsr/zelda

Need to know this as well. And did you paint the sword hilt? Because the one that I've seen that looks similar is grey.

u/TheNorn · 4 pointsr/zelda

[here you go man!] (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00C9Q8HTE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_gKWLxbCCGET69)
$44.95 and it comes with a plaque, AND it's prime!!!

Amazon Link to Wii U Version

As of posting, you can only sign up to be notified of when you can preorder.

u/DaKong · 1 pointr/zelda

Not sure where you're from, but it's still on sale at Amazon.

u/kuniggety · 1 pointr/zelda

No problem. There's actually a couple of different timelines that have presented themselves through the games. Hyrule Historia breaks it all down but it's really unnecessary... each of the games stand on their own with their own unique story. https://www.amazon.com/Legend-Zelda-Hyrule-Historia/dp/1616550414

u/NewKasuto · 1 pointr/zelda

I have one of the Limited Edition Arts and Artifacts it has Goddess Collection.

I checked Amazon's page for the Hyrule Historia. It doesn't have the Goddess Collection written on the picture for their Hyrule Historia. Go check the 2 picture of the back cover it is missing the Goddess Collection text.

u/Icantbackflip · 1 pointr/zelda

Actually, still no good sadly.

I've read reviews of all of those Master Swords listed on other sites, and plenty of them seem to have something wrong with them when delivered. I normally wouldn't have any problems with that as it's like ~£60, but those sellers look shifty. So, it's a no-go sadly.

I tried Amazon and Ebay, and ones like the one below don't even sell to the UK:

http://www.amazon.com/Zelda-Video-Princess-Links-Master/dp/B0058EEF2M/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top

How the hell do people even get this stuff in the UK? This is ridiculous, there's like nothing out here for us lol.
