Reaper makes Learn to Paint kits. I've used them to reinforce some of what I've learned at local painting meetups and I've liked them. I ended up grabbing a large Army Painter paint set and then had a wet palette and a Winsor & Newton brush recommended to me from a Zombicide painting group. They also pointed me to a head-mounted light/magnifying glass and some brush soap.

There is also a black plague version.
Also, you might buy some extra double sided boards as they also come up with extra tokens (I don´t know if it comes with doors. I know season 1 version comes with cars, and Season 3 with helicopter. But I don´t know about doors)
For doors, maybe you can try buying some custom 3D doors to replace the originals?

How is it that I "thin" them? I know experts add water and use layers, but that I should learn with a pushing of paint from globs to edges around the mini (at least from what I read in an article).
The paints I use btw are these
