I used this pattern for the leaf and then I used 20 gauge floral wire that I weaved through the outside of the leaf to give it structure. I made sure the the wire was long enough to create a stem and then used green pipe cleaner for extra stability and wrapped the wire and pipe cleaner together with green floral tape
Edit: I also weaved the wire through the heads of the flowers then used the floral tape to wrapped all the stems together.
