If you really want top tier build quality, maybe look into the 15.6'' Lenovo Thinkpad Edge. It has great specs and Thinkpad's are famous for top of the line build quality and a best in class keyboard. It also has pretty good specs that would work fine for your needs with a Kaby Lake i7, 16gb of ram, 256gb SSD and a GTX 950M dedicated graphics card. It weighs in at 5.1 lbs and has a battery advertised up to 8 hours as well. It wouldn't be your most powerful option, but it would still work fine for moderate gaming and could play WoW / Overwatch around medium/med-high at 60+ fps.

If you want more power and gaming potential, look into the Acer VX15 for $800 if you want great value. It comes with a Quad Core i5 processor, 8gb of ram, 256gb SSD and a GTX 1050 dGPU. For a slightly more powerful option, look into the higher end version of the Acer VX15 for $900 which has a GTX 1050 Ti. The specs are otherwise identical with a Quad Core i5 processor, 8gb of ram, and a 256gb SSD. It also has a 6 hour advertised battery and a 1080p ips display.
