It's PLS, which Samsung uses as cheaper alternative to IPS. There is very minimal differene, and PLS is much much better than TN panels, so unless you intend to do some serious photo editing, it would not make practical difference.
If you really require IPS panel, this would be the alternative, although a bit worse for gaming:
