For those that don’t mind 1080p resolution on a 27inch screen. Other various Acer monitors are also on sale.

How are the viewing angles? That's the big things for me because it will be pivoted at an angle on a monitor arm next to a 34" curved IPS ultrawide and my last TN panel looked awful

my current Monitor

and that is my mistake for wording it wrong, i guess its the compatability of the mobo with the new processors. but i just did some research and saw that this current mobo is okay with the 3700x.

I’ve been playing on the Acer XF270H 27” 1080p 144hz TN , but I wanted to move to something better since I notice quite significant ghosting as well as it is not a true 1ms. It’s 1080p. And it’s TN. Colors and viewing angles aren’t great but that’s expected.

The goal is IPS at 1ms at 1440p. But beyond that I’m trying to find a further understanding of what more you should look for. I notice the pixel density 100% at 27inches. It bothers the hell out of me.

Any recommendations? I know when your looking at that monitor type it gets expensive. I’m aware.

EDIT: I’ve also had 0 experience with curved monitors. I’ve seen them but never played on one. Especially with a dual monitor setup it may look strange.

[edit: this list isn't intended to be comprehensive, but is literally just take from the first page of results when searching "freesync 144hz" on amazon and I think this fact is illustrative of my point]

Gsync universally has a lower bound of 30fps.

Freesync 2 is not interchangeable with freesync. It describes a distinct set of capabilities that must be certified by AMD, which will increase the cost beyond whatever bargain-bin freesync monitors you might find laying about.

This is a huge price limit that I can definitely help you on! Here are 5 1080p monitors that I recommend that have 144Hz 1ms for you to buy for your budget. All of these links will be Amazon links.

1080p

Samsung LC27FG73FQNXZA Curved Gaming Monitor

ASUS VG278Q 27" Full HD 1080p 144Hz 1ms Eye Care G-SYNC Compatible Adaptive Sync Gaming Monitor with DP HDMI DVI

Acer XF270H Bbmiiprx 27" Full HD (1920X1080) Zero Frame TN Gaming Monitor with AMD FREESYNC Technology 1ms | 144Hz Refresh (Display Port 1.2 &2 x HDMI 2.0 Ports for this one, if you'd like, you could get 240Hz and still be under-budget.

Acer Gaming Monitor 27" KG271 Cbmidpx 1920 x 1080 144Hz Refresh Rate AMD FREESYNC Technology (Display Port, HDMI & DVI Ports)

ASUS VG278HV 27 inch Full HD 1920X1080 Gaming Monitor

Most of these monitors are 200$, when some are even $300. There are monitors less then $200 I found that's in this list. These are my top 5 picks. Enjoy! I legit spent like 30 minutes searching on Amazon, and another 30 minutes posting the links.

This 1440p is $100 less although you may be better off with this 1080p monitor as it has 144hz and wouldn't bottleneck the 2070 too bad.

Acer XF270H Bbmiiprx 27" Full HD (1920 x 1080) Zero Frame TN G-SYNC Compatible Gaming Monitor - 1ms | 144Hz Refresh (Display Port 1.2 & 2 x HDMI 2.0 Ports) https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07G3YRT4H/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_NTBADb2BC8T9Q

I'm looking for suggestions and good semi budget 144hz gaming monitors and so far these are what I'm looking at:

Acer XF270H Bbmiiprx 27" Full HD (1920 x 1080)

AOC G2460PF 24-Inch Free Sync Gaming LED Monitor, Full HD (1920 x 1080), 144hz, 1ms

Does anyone have recommendations of some sort? I don't want to make the mistake of getting a monitor then realizing i could've got something just that much better, or something that lasts longer.
