I've become accustomed to opening the map in fantasy ebooks, only to discover it's so small that it's almost illegible. Sometimes I'll find a larger map online, and download the image so I have something to refer to as I read. It was a nice surprise to discover a map that is large enough to actually enjoy.

Maybe the maps are usually so awful because some publishers are concerned about file size, especially if they've already included a quality cover picture.

For what it's worth, I'm enjoying the book so far. It seems as if he's put more time and effort into this than the books of the Riyria Chronicles.

Incidentally, here is the map in question, 3300x5100.

This is awesome!

I'd love a paperback copy of Assassin's Code by Jonathan Maberry, or a hardback copy of Age of Myth by Michael J. Sullivan

This contest ends on my birthday, so maybe that will bring me some luck

Thanks for doing this and congrats to anyone who gets a book! Enjoy!

Check out the Age of Myth. The setting isn't entirely new (it's a few millenia before the Riryia books) but the storyline is entirely new, and requires absolutely no knowledge of the other in-universe books.
