I wear Alpine MotoSafe Pro
Ear plugs fall under Personal Protection Equipment, meaning two people often prefer different things and you may try a few of those linked here until you find your personal preference.
My current favorite earplugs are called Earasers earplugs. They sit in the canal and don't extend into the outer part of the ear so there shouldn't be any discomfort. The Amazon link I provided is for the basic versions, but you can get ones with more dB protection directly from the company.
My next favorite are the Alpine Motosafe plugs because they are soft and come with 2 different attenuation values in the box.
(I bought like 5 kinds recently because I was sick of the foamies or uncomfortable ear plugs.)

For the price I presume it must be better than the cheap ones. Anyway, the best scenario would be to have a better isolated helmet + the earplugs, as long as I can still hear any danger around me.
