I would buy something that can power a handful at a time. It's less to worry about if a supply breaks and takes them all down, or some fool shorts out the power lines.

Assuming about 2A per device.. We'll say 10W per port gives good headroom. You can get 10 port chargers but they usually only provide 60W, it'd be a gamble. So you're looking at buying something like 5 of these 6 port chargers. I'd probably be lazy and scrounge up a regular adapter for the last one and get 4.

> one of those outlets with usb charging port built in, because sometimes you just have to have one there.

I'd just do regular outlets and then one of these for usb providable power.

I have one in my entertainment center charing two handheld consoles, Wiiu gamepad, powered antenna, with a spare cable for a phone or controller.

I may end up using something like this. It should be able to power the RPi + HDD on one port (the PiDrive isn't powered via USB; it comes with a special cable that splits the power with the RPi) and then the powered USB on another. Adding the controllers is what ends up sagging the power on the RPi and this should alleviate that as they would be plugged into the powered hub, thus drawing no power from the Pi. Plus with this one, I can hide it all completely inside and only have one cable coming out of the NES.
