Parts listed:

  • Windows 7 Ultimate = $140

  • AMD Phenom II X4 955 = $215

  • Ram 4GB Unspecified Speed/Brand = $31

  • Nvidia GeForce GTS 450 1GB = $95

  • 1TB HDD = $70

  • Viewsonic 22" 1920x1080 Model Unknown = ~$139.99

  • Logitech MK 250 Sub MK260 = $25

  • Unspecified Board + Unspecified Chassis cost = $150

    Total: $866

    Total - OS = $726

    Estimated Value IMO: ~$450

Since an OS is assumed with every system most aren't going to pay extra for it.

In addition your system is used. With used systems the price gap gets larger depending on cost since anyone who can afford close to new at a higher value would just buy new. As an example you wouldn't pay $700 for a used system on Craig s list that you could buy new for $800 with a warranty and knowledge of past use (none).

For the software/games you would have to list them. Reselling gets tricky for a few reasons.

  • No one person is going to want all of your software so if you bundle it don't expect anywhere near the total cost because they wont feel paying for the software they don't want is justified.

  • Software, Movies, Games, etc all lose value over time and could be worth close to nothing.

  • Software that has had new versions released is not generally in high demand.

Also while you should wipe or at least reinstall windows for your own data security please do not take your PC to an "expert" for a wipe. They will likely overcharge you for a job that with the help of google is easy to do.

I would start the price high (~$550) and work your way down until someone bites. If you're really strapped for cash someone should peg that system quick for $350-400.

Edit: Also your Graphics card is Not "2815 MB" it is 1GB (1024MB). The 2815 MB is shared system memory which is not supplied by the card. What you want to look at is dedicated memory.

Yeah, I'm looking at building a whole new VR capable rig in a year or so. 1080, intel chip, the works. But until then I think I can squeeze some life out of this one.

Currently on an AMD Phenom II X4 955.
