It's a goal of mine to visit every country but what he did just sounds insane to me. So much money for what.. you don't get to see anything but airports. Now I love flying and airports but not 6 months worth. I remember reading this guy's blog when he did the first trip with his friend years ago, too bad it's not still around. I'm currently at 174 countries out of what I count 197 (193 UN + Kosovo, Taiwan, Vatican, Palestine). I like to spend at least one night in each country if possible, though I do count just pure airport transits (4 of those 174 are 'cheaters'). Some countries don't need a lot of time. Others I have been back to visit multiple times.
