I use the Ancer case, it's very slim and covers the side. It doesn't protect the front that well since the phone is curved but it is rare to drop a phone exactly flat on a surface so I am more than okay with that.
As for tempered glass screen protectors, I don't know any good ones. They all have adhesive issues. This is pretty common among phones with curved screens.
