I had an Angelcare - it's a flat panel that goes under the mattress. I used it in both a co-sleeper and a crib and it worked fine in both. Occasionally you get false alarms (like if baby manages to get himself tucked into a corner) but I would rather have a couple false alarms and not worry the rest of the time. This is the one I had - it's the base model.
