I've looked it up in the past, I'll do it again. I'm 99% certain these two powerbanks are identical. The extra 100mah seems to be irrelevant, and just part of the naming more than anything else.

Anker PowerCore Speed 20000

Anker PowerCore 20100 Switch Edition

Note: I provided Amazon links for uniformity's sake. Right now, the Amazon price on the Switch edition is very expensive, at $150. I think it's usually $90-$100 at the brick and mortars (Best Buy, Target, etc..)

The non-sale prices are typically very similar (barring Amazon's really high price on the Switch-branded one), with the main difference is that the unbranded one includes a PD USB-C AC Adapter, which is very handy if you don't have an extra one. The Switch's AC adapter works beautifully, but depending on your setup, it may not be convenient to be taking that around (e.g. for me, I have mine more or less permanently plugged into my dock--it's a pain to move it around frequently). Charging these banks with a USB-A to USB-C cable and a standard USB3 port (even a power-boosted one) takes a very long time. Charging via a proper USB-C to USB-C cable and a sufficiently juicy PD-capable AC adapter speeds up charging dramatically.

(edit: reorganized my paragraphs for better flow; added sentence about the Switch's AC adapter)

All the cables I previously mentioned as well as the following chargers (except the Anker 26800 battery) are USB-IF certified.
This charger from Monoprice has 5 ports - 1 Type C, 3 Type A. The 3 Type A ports have a total maximum output of 5V 2.4A, or 12W. Each individual Type A port is also capable of that 12W, given you have nothing plugged into the rest of them. The Type C port is capable of 5, 9, 12, 15, 20V charging, all at 3A.

This charger from Monoprice has 2 ports - 1 Type C, 1 Type A. The Type A has an output of 5V 2.4A, or 12W. The Type C is capable of 5V and 9V at 3A, or 15V charging at 2.6A. I do not think it is capable of 12V charging, 12V is just not listed on the MP website nor on the charger itself.

This (last) charger from Monoprice is a car charger and has 2 ports - 1 Type C, 1 Type A. The Type A has an output of 5V 1A, or 5W. The Type C is capable of 5V and 9V charging at 3A, or 12V charging at 2.25A.

This battery from Anker has 1 Type C and 1 Type A. The Type C acts as both an input and output for the battery. The Type C, as an input, is capable of 5V 3A (15W), 9V 3A (27W), 15V 2A (30W), and 20V 1.5A (30W). As an output, it is capable of 5V 3A (15W), 9V 2.67A (24W), and 15V 1.6A (24W). The Type A is 5V 2A, or 10W. It comes with a 30W wall charger as well as a C-C (Type C to Type C) cable as well as a Type A to Micro B cable. The output capabilities of the charger are not listed, so I will assume they are the same as the input of the battery's Type C port. The C-C cable is definitely only 3A capable, as the battery cannot output anything higher than that, and most likely only USB 2.0 capable.

This battery from Anker is a bit special. It is not expressly USB-IF certified but may fall under the clause that if two products (from the same manufacturer) are near identical then only one needs to be certified. I do not think it does, as it features an extra Type A port and has over 30% more capacity than the other one, but I'm going to list it here anyway. This one has 1 Type C, again as an input and output, and 2 Type A ports. The Type A's are each 5V 3A (15W). The Type C port is 5V 3A, 9V 3A, 15V 2A, and 20V 1.25A capable as an output. As an input it's the same across the board, except it can charge at 1.5A at 20V. Comes with the same cables and charger as the other Anker battery.

This Nekteck charger has a captive 6ft Type C cable, and is capable of 5V 3A, 9V 3A, 15V/3A, 20V/2.25A charging.

This Nekteck charger has just 1 Type C port, and is capable of 5V 3A, 9V 3A, 12V 3A, 15V 3A, 20V 3.25A charging. To get that 20V 3.25A charging you MUST use a 5A capable cable, a 3A capable cable will clip it to 20V 3A. This charger comes with a 6ft C-C cable that is capable of 5A charging, but is probably USB 2.0.

This Nekteck car charger is the same as the Monoprice one I listed above, except this only outputs 5V 3A and 9V 3A, no 12V charging on this one. The Type A port is the same as the MP.

Absolutely worth any hit to battery life, albeit small.

The maximum I can get is 11 hours running 1 chrome tab at medium brightness. When pushing the computer, I average around 9 hours while developing.

I've also picked up one of these:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075SSHGJL/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Which really gives me flexibility while on the go. Alternatively, Anker sells a competing unit (although it provides only 30w charging):

Car charger I highly recommend just getting an Android Auto head unit. Spendy, but so worth it. Best buy has one on sale for their deal of the day for $300.

For a power bank, I have this and travel a lot. $10 coupon on Amazon ATM: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B071WNWRNC/

It comes with a wall adapter, uses usb c port to charge, and has USB PD (fast charges both the bank and your Pixel).

Since it charges with usb c you only need 1 power adapter and cord when traveling to charge either your phone or battery bank.

u/sapaul1996 · 4 pointsr/GooglePixel

Hi there! here are some suggestions for power banks that satisfy any needs you can have for the purpose of charging the pixel line and like devices

I highly recommend these ones because I have had experience using these and feel they check all my boxes. That is, they support USB Power Delivery (PD) and Qualcomm Quickcharge (QC), and in effect rapidly charge all my devices that support fast charging:

[Jackery Power Bar] (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076DXWPHS/ref=sspa_dk_detail_1?psc=1)
This one is my favorite because it also has an AC outlet to charge most U.S. laptops. It is so freaking convenient for studying on my computer on the go.

[iWALK Power Bank] (https://www.amazon.com/iWALK-20000mAh-Portable-Delivery-Nintendo/dp/B078NSC4QG/ref=sr_1_22?ie=UTF8&qid=1520746914&sr=8-22&keywords=usb+pd+power+bank)

Here are some that I have not owned, but after research seem to be worth recommending (of course, do your own analysis). I believe all three of these support USB PD and Qualcomm QC:

[Anker PowerCore] (https://www.amazon.com/Anker-PowerCore-20100mAh-Portable-Delivery/dp/B071WNWRNC/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1520744694&sr=8-4&keywords=usb+pd+power+bank)

Here are some that I am skeptical about for different reasons, but they did catch my eye while researching:

[PURIDEA Power Bank] (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0794V63VJ/ref=sspa_dk_detail_0?psc=1&pd_rd_i=B0794V63VJ&pd_rd_wg=OQUVw&pd_rd_r=42A3W5CMQPF2VADS872F&pd_rd_w=NlRw8)

Post was removed so here is the info if you need it:

Just thought I would let everyone know that apparently there is a problem right now with 3rd party docks and possibly portable batteries. According to Nintendo, they are investigating this issue and still trying to figure it out but 3rd party docks and portable batteries are causing the Nintendo switch to brick. Was wondering if anyone else has had this problem?

Here is a link to the exact battery.

u/Natsu-One · 3 pointsr/NintendoSwitchDeals

For this price, I would rather suggest that you wait for the Anker PowerCore Speed 20000 PD powerbank because it comes with a 30W wall charger and the powerbank itself supports the fast USB-C power delivery. Currently it sells at $79.99 but I got it at $49.99 in a lightning deal mid-February.

You can add this to your Amazon watch list or a Keepa account to be notified the next time it has a lightning deal:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071WNWRNC/ref=od_aui_detailpages00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

u/bonesda · 3 pointsr/NintendoSwitchDeals

The one you linked doesn’t have the USB C PD or Power Delivery. It won’t charge the Switch at a high rate. In other words, when you’re playing a game the switch won’t be charging. It could be maintaining power, but it won’t go up power wise.

Now there isn’t a risk of buying the above. It’s a solid power bank but it’s not optimal.

There is a twin of the one linked in the deal that doesn’t have the branding and is sold for $30 or more less than the branded one. If you’re patient you can find it for $20-$35. I got a used one from eBay for under $20.

Here’s a link to the twin on amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071WNWRNC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_PTaQCbQNXDG2J

Can’t find the solo one that comes without the plug.

u/rextraverse · 3 pointsr/Disneyland

I've used Anker and RAVPower battery packs in the past and have been very satisfied. Mophie products tend to be expensive but are excellent quality and highly reliable.

With an iPhone X, I would recommend you look into a battery pack that has a USB-C port that supports USB-PD (aka 'Power Delivery', the fast charging technology that Apple uses for iPhones) and able to output at least 30W from that specific port and an USB-C to Lightning cable for the absolute fastest recharges while in the park.

Some USB-C Power Delivery recommendations:
RAVPower 26800 PD Portable Charger
Anker PowerCore Speed 20000 PD
Mophie Powerstation XXL

You might also want to look into battery packs with an AC outlet. That way, you can use a fast charging wall wart you already have and can use elsewhere for fast charging:
RAVPower AC Outlet Portable Charger
Mophie Powerstation AC

u/Dr_Dugtrio · 3 pointsr/NintendoSwitchDeals

This one is 2100mAh and has the Nintendo protocols and branding. These two are the safest to use with your switch but not by a significant amount over other USB-C If complaint devices. Like this.

u/LAZER-RAGER · 3 pointsr/GooglePixel

Anker actually does have PD charging, and I would trust a name like Anker more than ZMI:

10,000 mAh ($45.99)

20,100 mAh ($99.99)

26,800 mAh ($129.99)

u/joshuadwx · 3 pointsr/anker

I don’t typically recommend older models, but PowerCore Speed 20000 PD fits your needs well.

You can charge one device with a USB-C to Lightning Cable (or a USB-C to USB-C Cable depending on your iPad model) and another with a USB-A to Lightning Cable.

If you want the capability of charging all three devices simultaneously, then PowerCore+ 26800 PD is your best option.

u/land8844 · 2 pointsr/AndroidQuestions

I have this one.

20,100mAh Anker power bank with 30W charging. Bought it last year for a trip and still use it all the time. Works great. Charges everything with a USB charge port in my house.

u/meh_mediocre · 2 pointsr/NintendoSwitch

There's also a lower capacity model w/ charger for a little bit less. I don't think it has the same features as this one, but otherwise it seems like a good deal as well.

Just got this Anker PowerCore Speed 20000 PD couple of weeks ago: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071WNWRNC/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_GQVEAbECP5KZ6

The bank comes with a USB-C Power Delivery wall charger to charge the bank itself in about 4 hours. It charges the Switch while playing in handheld/tabletop, and it fast charges my Note 8! I bought this powerbank specifically for flights as well.

Whatever you do, it's recommended you go with a powerbank that has USB-C power delivery for the Switch!

u/rom_racer · 2 pointsr/gpdwin

There's a link to the Wiki in the sidebar. The Wiki has a USB-PD page that lists chargers and power banks. Personally, I've used this because I already had it and it works fine:

If you need a power bank (battery) too, you can get them in a combo, something like this:

I ended up going with this model: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071WNWRNC/ref=od_aui_detailpages00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It has Power Delivery which will let me get the rapidly charging. It was a toss up between that and the PowerCore+ 26800 and I ended up picking the cheaper for now. I read the PowerCore+s have better build quality and alledgedly charge faster (the battery, not the phone) and there was great internal debate and I ended up with the Powercore Speed. I got an official Anker case to store it in too for when I carry it in my man purse with me when I'll be out and about which helped in the decision. I don't treat my electronics poorly, but if it's in my bag it is going to get some movement.

u/dildologist · 1 pointr/essential

I went ahead and ordered this Anker PD bank. Going over USB C to USB C, or USB A to USB C, it always charges rapidly. It comes with a USB C charger as well that's good quality, a C to C cable that I haven't had any issues with, and a nice carrying bag. It's 20,000 mAh and I've gotten 5 full charges out of it during a trip and still had juice left.

I picked it up when it was 99, but it's down to 79. Worth it in my book.

u/Neuermann · 1 pointr/NintendoSwitchDeals

What do you think about This charger?

My only issue with it is that I can’t charge the device and the switch at the same time to my knowledge.

u/spacebob · 1 pointr/fujifilm

I forgot to mention that. I already own the Fuji recomended Anker PowerCore 20000 PD and use it to charge while the camera is in the bag. But still a little clunkly setup if I want to walk around with the camera out.

It's also great to just charge the camera over USB-C.

Oh, I either didn’t notice that or completely slipped from my mind

Well I’ll keep that in mind if I need an extra

That’s what I noticed when looking through some - makes it difficult to tell honestly

But it looks like I’m looking at:
Butter fox Nintendo Switch Carrying Case
Which will hopefully fit in the Anti-Theft backpack I’m looking at)

Anker Powercore portable charger

Onson Anti-Theft Backpack

Unless there’s better options that come along (Though it’s difficult for me to be able to figure that out - comparing specs and tech isn’t my forte), I think I might have things locked down.... but pricey though from the looks of it, but should be worth it in the long run

I think that would cover everything I believe

u/thatguuuy · 1 pointr/NintendoSwitch

I think any USB pack will charge the Switch when it's not being used, but might not keep up with it while you're gaming on it.

To get the most charging potential, get a pack with USB-PD (power delivery). It can deliver a lot more power than standard USB.

Although pricy, I bought this one LINK and it works great. It also includes a USB-PD charger, which is nice...

u/crakkon · 1 pointr/NintendoSwitch

Ugh, so now I’m worried, this is so damn complicated.

I bought this a while ago:

Is it still safe to use?

u/DeimosValvicious · 1 pointr/onebag

This Is the one I have. I got it for the “power drive” feature. It charges my iPad as fast as it consumes watching an HD movie. A battery pack this large only comes in handy on long flights and when you go days without charging your phone (sometimes at hostels I don’t like to leave my phone out). In some ways I really recommend it but in others it’s pretty heavy. It weighs almost a pound.

u/After_Dark · 1 pointr/MatebookXPro

Having a C to C connector would charge faster if the battery supports The Power Delivery (PD) spec for USB-C. I don't expect that battery is damaging your device, but if you want faster charge speeds I would recommend Anker's Powercore+ PD line of devices.

I have the I have the 20000 PD and it charges decently fast for a battery, topping out at about 26 watts (less than half the speed of the MBXP included 65W charger, many phones top out at 15-18W).

All that said, the battery you're using is probably fine if it's working for you.

u/mizifih · 1 pointr/NintendoSwitch

I'm using this as reference: http://i.imgur.com/5oXEONa.png

Ok, so powerbanks, in general, deliver voltage/amperage in different ranges, like some deliver 9v/2A, some 9v/2.5A, some go above the 18W recommended, some have PD, some don't... So... Let's say I'm using a powerbank with PD, will it adjust itself for the Switch needs? Does the Switch work with PD or should I get one that deliver specifically 9v/2A, 12v/1.5A or 15v/1,2A?

I know it's been a while but I'm about to order a powerbank for my devices and I'd like one that would work fine with the Switch at it's maximum intake, 18W (did it change?), like this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LQ81QR0/ref=emc_b_5_t ?

Or maybe I should go with a PD model, like this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071WNWRNC/ref=emc_b_5_t ?

I recommend waiting for a sale on the Anker Powercore Speed 20000 PD + 30W PD Wall Charger bundle, I got it for $60 a few months back. This one supports PD but is the old version. If you buy a new one I would prefer the newer Version. This one has less mAh but still enough and is also cabable of fast charging. I bought the new Version a few weeks ago and super happy with it.
