I hated antibiotics and I couldnt remember nuts. This year I just decided on a strategy that worked.

I used this book http://www.amazon.com/Antibiotic-Basics-Clinicians-Choosing-Antibacterial/dp/1451112211 to read up on all the drugs and made notes before using Picmonic to consolidify the concepts and facts.

Then that's where Anki comes in. Converted the picmonic cards into anki cards and made questions on the facts I kept forgetting. For someone who is not really good at rote memorization, I can honestly say my retention is about 95%.
