Is something like this lid good for putting a good light source on? I was looking at some of the finnex lights and they appear to need a clear lid like this.
So far I have found these, but I don't know what to think. Any thoughts?

I have a 20 long and I use the planted+ 30"and petco 30"glass top. The lights sit directly on the glass (I removed the legs).
It works beautifully.
