Or I could just buy a Dell Venue 8 Pro tablet for $200 or this Acer Aspire for $330.

The idea behind a Pi laptop is that it's a DIY kind of a thing. It'd be a fun project to do just to see if you actually could do it or not, but actually buying a laptop that is running off a Pi is silly.

I'm sorry but this is ridiculously overpriced. I know it's probably a matter of keeping the price as low as possible and that $300 for you is that point, but that doesn't change what a competitor has to offer.

I don't mean to be rude but what do you really have to offer when I can buy a Tablet for 2/3 the price at several times the capability?
